Originally designed by Kryal.		png \| ico	The Homebrew Channel - Follow instructions exactly on their site. This allows the usage of cheats/hacks. Ocarina (cheat engine) is built into popular game loaders such as Backup Launcher and USB Loaders. (see below for links and other gameloader methods)
png \| ico	The GIMP - Free image editing program similar to Photoshop.		png \| ico	Code Manager - You will need this program to create your own .gct files, which go on your SD card in x:/codes/ folder. Insert cheats to program, save as .gct. Can back them up as txt files.
png \| ico	Paint.net - Another free solution to editing images.		png \| ico	File Patch Code (NTSC) - This code is the key player in getting hacks into your Brawl. Add these codes with CodeManager, and create a .gct file. [PAL] [JP] Click the icon for instructions.
png \| ico	Photoshop - Not exactly free, but does the best job at modifying images on a professional level.		png \| ico	Riivolution - Riivolution is an on-the-fly game patcher for use with retail discs (no usb loader yet). It allows users to place content on their SD or USB devices, which will be read by the game during regular play. Can be used for custom textures, music, levels, memory patches, game translations, etc.

	Sawndz - The simplest way to inject customized sounds into your Brawl game. Mainly used for SFX, Voices, etc.		png \| ico	Java Runtime Environment - Allows you to run applications called "applets" that are written in the Java programming language. Needed for some apps.
png \| ico	Brawl Custom Song Maker GUI - Puts files on SD card or in a folder with the proper names and folder layout, loop support, and much, much more. This is the standard for creating your own songs for Brawl.		png \| ico	Microsoft .Net Framework - Keeping your .NET version up to date is a requirement for running BrawlBox. Sorry, Mac users!
png \| ico	Smash Attacks ('PSA') - This is used to alter the moves of characters' hitboxes, as well as swap the root of animations. (You'll need the character effects file to alter, found below)		png \| ico	DirectX - This end-user runtime environment will help your windows machine make the most of the 3d graphically intense programs. ex: Dolphin, 3ds Max, Gimp, Photoshop, etc.
png \| ico	Wii Scrubber v1.21 - Use to view files on Wii ISO files, as well as replace files within the ISO itself. Good for creating custom Brawl backups if you don't use the SD card method of file patching. Using version 1.21 is important; later versions can corrupt the Brawl ISO.

png \| ico	Blender - Blender is a 3d editing program that allows modifications to the .obj files that come from anim8or. Free alternative to 3ds Max.		png \| ico	Dolphin - Emulator for Wii and Gamecube Games. File Patch Code not supported. Use Wii Scrubber to manually inject replacement files into your Brawl ISO. Min. Requirements: 2.8Ghz CPU \| 2GB RAM \| (Dual Core or higher highly recommended)
png \| ico	AutoDesk 3ds Max - The professional version of blender. Not free.		png \| ico	Configurable USB Loader - The most versatile and acclaimed USB Loader for Loading Wii games via an external hard drive. Region free, ocarina, net update, cover-flow interface, etc.
png \| ico	HxD (Hex Editor) - Free Hex editor needed for editing the guts of specific brawl files. (see tutorials for examples) (Spanish speakers download this version)		png \| ico	USB Loader GX - Another USB Loader. Not as much eye candy or internet automation with this one. One of the first usb loaders around though.
png	HexEdit (Hex Editor) - Another Free Hex editor used for editing the guts of specific brawl files (see tutorials for examples).		png \| ico	NeoGamma - The most compatible Disc Loading backup launcher on the market. Supports Ocarina, 99% of the Wii library, and a good chunk of the Gamecube library is supported as well!
			png \| ico	Gecko OS - Utilizes Ocarina, but lacks the 99% compatibility that NeoGamma has. Not compatible with Gamecube games. Not to be confused with 'USB Gecko' the hardware, which allows 'RAM poking' via the GCN mem-card slot.

png \| ico	THP Play - Allows video playback for most .thp files (video files that are located within Wii or Gamecube ISOs).		png \| ico	GCTedit - Allows the opening of already created .gct files. Code Manager only opens txt files, so this helps mod already-made .gct files.
png \| ico	Bin2Jpg - Bin2Jpg decrypts the screenshots you take in Brawl from their native .bin file format to jpg. Recommended if you're trying to get your images to your pc.		png \| ico	Windows Update - Before mentioning technical troubles about running certain programs related to Brawl hacking, please make sure your computer is up to date. 	Online .rel Converter - Easy .rel conversion. For porting stages and characters.			Super Sawndz - A version of Sawndz with different features. If Sawndz isn't doing what you need, try this suped-up version.

png \| ico	Data Partition 2 (NTSC-U) by LordNoah - A complete backup of the entire Brawl ISO, split up in folder hierarchy. Use as a base for all things related to brawl hacking.		png	Data Partition 2 (PAL) by (Jack H.) - Same as left, but straight from the PAL ISO instead. Most files are compatible with each other. Some are extremely different. Hottest usage: .rel files.
