Yes, I'm working on two stages now. One of them is almost ready and it's a Megaman X stage, the other one is a Sonic stage and it'll take some more days of work but it's looking pretty nice so far. ;D

Looking awesome so far :D And I'm especially loving "The Ultimate Show", got it on FD and have the music too.

Got a few suggestions for TUS :) :

-There's a lot of blocks, and the way they're positioned makes it really hard to maneuver or KO. I'd suggest making them able to pass through and the tops fall-through platforms. And remove a few and position them more randomly.
-If you can, also have them move back and forth like they do in SPM, and have their faces sometimes go to the scowling frown for a second and go back.
-Love Dimentio floating around, if you can have him pause and do his "arm waving" animation a bit more often and maybe stop to laugh it would be cool.
-Probably something that would be pretty difficult, but having Super Dimentio drop in sometimes, stand and pose and be a hazard, then Super Jump out of the stage would be awesome :D

Hmm..it seems that everyone wants an improvement for the Ultimate Show, so after I finish the stages I'm working on I'll make a version 2.0.
1) Don't worry, I'll fix the the blocks so it'll be easier to kill others.
2) I'll try to animate all of the blocks and about the faces I'll have to use a 2D model as the face, this way I can make the eyes change.
3) This one I can't do because this is a 2D model, it only uses one image and it'll always be at the same position as the pic.
4) I can make Super Dimentio appear but it's the same case as Dimentio, it'll be 2D always at the same position.

I'm glad that people like this stage, I'm really busy making some new stages...but Ultimate Show v2.0 now is included at my "To do List" ;)

Gate Laboratory v2.0

This stage is from Megaman X6, I've already made one version but this one is way better than the old one, it have a 2D model of Gate and High Max but I've included two versions one with them and one without them.
Also I've included a music pack with perfect looped brstm you can found it at Zeonteam or Hardcorebrawlhackers. This stage is animated as you can see on the pics a platform comes up and some spikes come from the walls. Next stage is a Sonic one and it'll be released soon, I'm still working on it. Anyway here's the download:

Looking good. It's over what?

Thanks, it goes over FD without rel files but I've included one to use over Mario Bros, sorry I took so long to reply.
Btw for those interested I've add the Music Pack to Gate Lab v2.0, the download lead to a folder with 3 files:
1- Gate Lab V1.0
2- Gate Lab V2.0
3- Gate Lab Music Pack v2.0
There are some cool songs there with perfect loop. Hope you guys like it. ;D
I'd like to add previews but I don't know how can I make it here, because I'd like to add the name of the song and by clicking at it you'd go to the preview, if someone know how to do please tell me.

Okay, my secret Sonic stage will be released this week, and well I don't know which stage should I replace, without rel files it goes over Jungle Japes. Have in mind that this stage have at least 6 fitting brstm, should I include all of them along with the stage?
So I'll take suggestions about the rel file and the brstms.
One more thing, new stage Preview coming soon...;)

I guess the vault entry should be jungle japes, cause that's the rel file used.

Which rel should be included? Green Hill, or 75m/mario bros.

Green Hill because of the franchise. 75m and mario bros because of how 'loved' those stages are ^^U

Okay, so this week I'll release a new stage from Super Paper Mario (No, this one isn't The Ultimate Show V2...) Expect a release on friday, no previews needed because it'll be out so soon. ^^

Sweet man cant wait to see what it is, you should make Forest Maze from SMRPG some time im sure you could pull it off because your stage builder parts textures were really good. :)

So you want me do make a new Forest Maze eh? hmm...the moment I saw your post lots of ideas came to my mind. xD
Maybe I'll revamp it as a normal stage, not STGEDIT ones, but you'll have to wait until I release 2 more stages (the one that'll be released on friday and the other one I've already started *Previews Coming soon*), after that I can revamp some old stages like The Ultimate Show.

Exactly, he's using his boost from Sonic Colors. Besides there woudn't be any way to make Sonic run throught the stage because there's a lot of water there. xD
Anyway, today I got a message about the download not working for Gate Laboratory Stage V2.0, so I've included the Music Pack along with the stage, this way people can download the stage and the music pack without any problems...if you already tried and it didn't work re-download it, here's the link:

What stage is the Aquarium Park originally made on? I'm trying to make an .rel over Green Hill Zone, but Yoshi's Island(Brawl), I suspect, is not the original. Since when I use the stage switcher...it freezes.

It goes over Jungle Japes without rel files, if you want to replace Green Hill Zone you'll need a Jungle Japes rel because of the swimmable water. ^^

Gloam Valley (Super Paper Mario)

Here it is, the stage where you have to pass through in order to reach Merlee's Mansion: Gloam Valley.
This stage was easy and fun to make and it didn't take too much time to finish, I just took some time to upload because I had to study for some exams. Paper Mario needs more stages, also water is swimmable so it goes over Jungle Japes without rel files but I've included one to use over 75m, you can make one to use over the stage you want. Paratroopa and Cheep-Cheep are animated, also there's an animated Paper Peach too. Hope you all enjoy! ^^

Two suggested places you could make:
-Planet Wisp (Sonic Colors)
-A fighting area in-front of the Thousand-Year Door from Paper Mario: TTYD.

Thanks both of you, in fact the animations made the stage look better than before. ;D
Epicness will you do stages from other paper Mario games?
Yes, but before starting a new Paper Mario stage I have to make The Ultimate Show V2.0 xD
Two suggested places you could make:
-Planet Wisp (Sonic Colors)
-A fighting area in-front of the Thousand-Year Door from Paper Mario: TTYD.
^This...
When I made Aquarium Park I knew people would like me to do Planet Wisp, because that's a pretty nice stage, so I guess I'll be doing it in the future.
Anyway, about TTYD Stage...I have to say that this was an awesome suggestion, I like it...So maybe I'll do it! Any of you would like to help me? I need some good pics from that place so I can try to make it close to the original one.
But you guys will have to wait a little more because I'm working in a stage that much people want, and maybe I'll add a preview next week. ^^
Hey, i love you're stage.

It's sad you haven't add the water effect.
Sorry KTH, it's because I didn't know how to turn Delfino's water orange, this was the only way I knew to make the stage have an orange water just like in Super Paper Mario. ;)

Well, I've been looking for a capture card recently because my stages are getting better, but no luck though...there are some videos of Forest Maze, Chun-nan & Cyber Maze Core on Youtube. Don't worry I'll get a capture card soon, it is always better with some videos. ;)

Yeah, I think your stages are getting really great. Especially because of how artsy they are. The only thing I think that could be better is if you made a stage based off another game that can be used competitively. i.e. Like no walk offs or water. If you do that it would be the best of both worlds = D. And who knows, maybe you could get one of your stages in Project M, then thousands of people would have your stage!

well here are the textures for that area if they help at all...
http://www.textures-resource.com/wii_gamecube/PaperMarioTTYD/sheet/1386

I'll try looking for some pics of the actual area so you know where everything goes.

Also somthing to note since it's the textures for everything in rogueport sewers some of the textures are ot needed.

Wow, what a dead thread...xD
Anyway here's something I've been working on since I released Gloam Valley. I think it's good enough to show a preview now.
Yeah that's the Master Emerald Shrine from Sonic Adventure, I'm making the past version and maybe when I finish this I can make the present one to go along with this one. ^^
Anyway, I need some help with the stage. There are 2 things I need someone to do for me.
1- I need someone to vertex Knuckles GHZ model into Tikal, there's a Tikal texture for Knuckles model and I need Tikal in this stage along with those little Chaos in the pic (it's a little hard to see them because of the way I took the pic). Here's the link:
http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=12759
2- I'd like someone to get me a better Palm Tree model because the one I'm using isn't like the one in Sonic Adventure, I need a model with only 1 Palm tree.
So that's it, the stage is still unfinished but I'll do my best on this one. Tell me what you guys think of it so far, I'll be showing previews of my progress this time. I'll add the pic to the OP later. ;D

I thought You couldn't vertex models like Knuckles. At least, I never saw a vertex of a model that's not normally a playable character.
...Excluding Pik's Glass Joe. But Pik's so epic that anything is possible.

As you all can see I've already connected all the pillars and I've also add new Palm trees (thanks to Smashhackers).
Now for Chao lovers here's a pic of his dance:
(http://i22.servimg.com/u/f22/15/82/04/66/meshri12.jpg) (http://www.servimg.com/image_preview.php?i=17&u=15820466)
For the Chaos you guys want them to be like this pic above?
(http://i22.servimg.com/u/f22/15/82/04/66/chaos_10.jpg) (http://www.servimg.com/image_preview.php?i=18&u=15820466)
Or all of them looking to the center of the stage?
For now that's it I guess I won't be able to work on the M.E. Shrine until Wedneesday because I have some exams, when I return I'll be posting some more previews.

Title: CutterKirby64 Stage Hacks [ M.E. Shrine Preview + New Stage Help? (17, may 11) ]
Post by: CutterKirby64 on May 17, 2011, 02:42:23 PM
Hey everyone time for some new previews. ;)
The stage is close to be finished, what's if left?
1- Tikal Vertex.
2- Add the Mountains (already have the model).
3- Put the Chaos where they should be.
4- Move the Palm Trees.
Also I redone all the pillars around the Shrine so it looks a lot better. Enough talk, time for the pics. xD

I have a new stage done right now from Megaman X5, but I need some help with animated collisions because the whole stage is animated. If someone knows about it please tell me, as long as I finish the collisions I'll release it. :P

Thanks to you I'll be able to release the stage this week! You're awesome, since the stage have a lot of models to attach some collisions it'll take a while. xD

Yeah probably it'll be, but I still think that Aquarium Park is the best one. :P
Let's just see how the M.E. Shrine will be when I finish it.

Hey where is this MMX5 stage that's getting released soon? I don't see any type of previews anywhere.
I didn't add any preview because I finished the whole stage so fast, I just had problems with the animated collisions, I'm working on it right now and hopefully it'll be released tomorrow or friday, sorry. Anyway, about the M.E. Shrine thanks, I build the whole thing, some of it took time to finish, after the MMX5 stage I'll get back to it. ^^

Yeah you sure did. xD

Hey everyone the stage is finished! But before I release it I need to know something...the stage has some platforms and some objects over it, due some CPU problems those objects can only have a collision for the top and not for the sides, so you guys want it to be like that or move those objects backward? Or both versions? As long as I get some answers I'll release the stage. ;D

I personally like the 2 versions idea. That's what I usually do with my stages xD

Anyway, which cpu problems are you talking about? O.o

Well it's not a huge problem, in those platforms with objects there aren't much space so they get in there trying to walk and get out...xD
That's why I removed the sides, I'll add both versions in the download, right now I'm just animating the Shadow System and it'll be done.

Cyber Maze Core v2!
So it's finally here, the MMX5 stage I was talking about earlier. So the whole stage is animated, everything changes. The area where you find those Boss capsules changes to the Sigma Boss Room. Special thanks to Mewtwo2000 for helping me with those animated collisions and BigSharkZ for the Zero model and virus texture. I've inluced 2 versions: 1 without interagible capsules and one with. It comes with a Music Pack, hope you all enjoy.

It goes over Final Destination, but like always I'll include a brstm pack with fitting music and a rel file to use over another stage, I'm just not sure which one. xD

Oh that would be cool, but sadly I don't really like that lava stage so I won't be doing it, sorry. >.<

Epic stage is epic.

Thanks KTH. ;D

Okay everyone just to let you all know I already have some musics to go along with the stage, check them:
Tikal Theme (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kCPNDsoo0Y)
Unknown from M.E. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GM8h2Xyis9M)
Mystic Ruins (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1i8MEHcX0Q&feature=related)
Emerald Challenge (Sonic Heroes) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uWt34suZr4)
I think those fit great, I still have to check the stage it'll go over with the rel file included. Any suggestions for fitting musics are welcome.

Maybe Bob-omb battlefield, I like that stage and Mewtwo2000 said that he would make Whomps Fortress in the future. Also I've already add Mystic Ruins theme to that list. oO

The chaos are already there but I didn't move any of them yet, they are all in the center of the stage, there will be a lot of them. I can't add Tikal until someone vertex her for me. :(

Anyway I made some good progress in the M.E. Shrine, I've just add all the Chaos (12) there, and now I'm fixing some stuff. Previews later, also I have to check if it'll be possible to add the GHZ Knuckles model on it without freezing problems, because the file size right now is 2,66MB. xD

Anyway thanks and next is the M.E. Shrine, I was just taking a break from it.

You must finish Super Paper mario too. :P

Okay guys the M.E. Shrine is almost finished, well there's a lot of models in that stage, something like hmm...205 models. oO
I don't think it'll be possible to add Tikal to the stage and it's not because of the file size but because of the lag. Hope you guys don't bother about that (At least there are some Chaos xD). Also it'll be flat because I want it to be like the original one and well it is flat. No previews because it'll be released soon. ;)

The servers are the seven Chaos. Chaos is power, power is enriched by the heart. The controller serves to unify the chaos. So this is it, the M.E. Shrine is finally finished and not only the Past one but the Present to go along with it, it goes over Mushroomy Kingdom so you guys can enjoy both of them, the music pack is included too. Hope you all enjoy as much as I do, here's the download:

Yup, they're looking way better than the ones on those previews all thanks to Mewtwo2000 that gave them all their own light effects. xD

I totally remember that from Sonic Adventure 2.
Also, that BrawlVault button has no link :P
Oh yeah that Sonic and Knuckles scene at the Shrine in the A.R.K.
Also thanks for letting me know, I forgot to add the link but now it should be okay. >.<

Congrats on the fantastic stage(s)
Thank you, I'm really glad to hear that, that means a lot for me coming from the best Stage Maker. ^^

Thanks everyone here who commented about the stage I'm really glad that you all liked it, I'd quote all of you but I'd say the same thing I just said and it'd be kinda huge. Anyway, my vacations are almost here I have one more exam tomorrow and then I'll be free. I want to start making some new stages but I'm not sure yet about which series I should make first (Mario, Sonic, MMX or maybe a new one). A poll would be easier but I don't know how to make one without creating a whole new thread. oO
So expect some previews soon. xD

I'll add both to the vault entry, maybe I'll make a Videos Section in the OP because there's a couple of videos on Youtube showing my stages. xD

I've tried to make the water animated but it didn't worked the way I wanted it to be. Special thanks to Mewtwo2000 for helping me with the animated version.

Oizen's is like a custom Aquatic Mine with random stuff that makes it look like Aquatic Mine, this one is like an import like talking an area from the game itself.

Yes, but computers were fidgety in the version with water. That's why I didn't like that version.

Oizen's is like a custom Aquatic Mine with random stuff that makes it look like Aquatic Mine, this one is like an import like talking an area from the game itself.
Interesting that Oizen refused to alter his version of the stage to make it more compatible for Brawl specifically because he "didn't want to change the stage at all from its source appearance".
I liked the platform layout of Oizen's better due it being slightly more interesting/unique, but the noclip walls were absolutely a deal breaker, for me. I don't remember Oizen's Aquatic Mine being a let down aesthetically, by any means, but without directly comparing the two I can say I'm more attracted to this version than I was to his when I saw it. (Then again, maybe I'm just biased because Oizen snapped at me when I tried to offer constructive criticism.)
Either way, you did a fantastic job here.

I've decided to revamp my favorite stage from Megaman X6: Gate's Laboratory! So I made the stage based on an area from the original lab and there are some personal touches so as Gate and Sigma, both animated. Includes SSS stuff and like always a Music Pack. There are rel files to use over Rumble Falls and for a Custom Stage Slot. Hope you all enjoy it! Here's the download:

Includes 2 fitting brstms, SSS stuff and rel files to use over Brinstar or over a Custom Stage Slot, without them the stage goes over Final Destination.
Check my Blogpost for more info and stuff here: [url]http://infinitesmashteam.blogspot.com/[/url]
Hope you all enjoy it as much as I do! Here's the download:

aww me wantz to see progress now!!! >=D
I'll add more progress later, now that I'm done with Mystic Mansion. xD

Idea is perfect! But something wrong...The light of the stage.
Thanks and sorry about that...I've tried to find a fitting scenedata but I wasn't able and well I suck at making one. :(

i know you dont take request but heres a suggestion..since you like megaman, i like megaman, they like megaman.. how about a megaman stage from the classic megamn games like.....the stage where you fight protoman

plz take into consideration and thx :)
A Classic Megaman stage? Sure, I'll think about something but I'm not promising anything...:P

Your awesome. :srs:
Thanks, glad you like it. ;)

Good job, like always.

I hated the Mystic Mansion levels in Sonic Heroes D:
Great work on the stage though, brings back some old memories.

Thanks and sorry about that...I've tried to find a fitting scenedata but I wasn't able and well I suck at making one. :(

If you don't mind, think I can mess around with the scene data until I get something almost similar? I've checked out Mewtwo's tutorial and I'm pretty eager to try it out on something X)

Grilled Cheesus crist that looks awesome. But tell me, can you KO people more ways than just up, or are the walls solid?

Thank you and don't worry about that, I'll take a look at that tutorial again. Also not only Scenedata editing would work because most of the stage was built with 2D models and those aren't affected by the scenedata...You're free to try but I might do it myself later. :P

Thanks. Well all walls are solid, it would be weird to have them there without some collision right? xD

I had a weird idea (which I know is impossible).

If it was possible, Mystic Mansion could've been been made over Yoshi's Island (Brawl) and then, when it changes seasons, it changes the mansion layout (like in Heroes).

Again, I know it's impossible, but it would be cool if it WAS possible.

CutterKirby, like I told you on MSN, Mystic Mansion is [censored]ing perfect. It really is man.

No other stage plays like this. It's great 1vs1 or 4vs4 all works very well.

Very impressived, and you couldn't have done it without SmashHacker's Texture rips. ;)

Keep up the great work.

Yeah it would be really cool, like you said it's impossible...xD
To have some changes it would be cooler over Castle Siege right? I wanted to do that at first but then I got tired of working on it because of the long wait for the Eggpawn. :P

Thanks man! I know you already told me that but it's always good to hear it twice. ;)
I'm glad to know that it works well, and yeah SmashHacker's help was really useful!

Sorry for not showing previews of Hyrule Castle Courtyard, I'm re-doing some stuff to make it look better and I want to show a preview when the first castle wall is complete. I'll see if I can do it tomorrow. xD
Btw tomorrow (14/September) is my Birthday!! ;D

Well slow progress is slow...but I'll try to make some more soon. ;D

Outstanding job so far, CutterKirby!

I know it's gonna look much better, once you have all the walls built.

That way, you won't be able to see where the sky is mirrored.

lol, Ninka's option...Zelda stages are sexy, recently Zelda stages started to take my attention, maybe that's because I'm helping my brother with Majora Mask and that brought me back some good memories. xD

+1 Zelda Stage.

Let's got for Great Bay :vyse:

You know I'd love to make it but I cant...DSX8 is already doing it and I can't beat an import... :-\
It wanted to make it next but I think I'll have to look for another Zelda stage.

Hmmm....Mario, Zelda and Sonic...I'm surprised that Sonic is getting some votes even if I said enough for now. I suppose people like my Sonic stages or like the troll face. xD

Ok Cutter, serious time. I know I've been teasing you about how easy it is to do imports, but honestly, you can make a stage better than anyone could import.

Don't ever say that again, or I'll kill you ¬¬

Seriously, we can beat imports. Or, at least, current imports. In my opinion, those unshaded stages have nothing to do against stages like yours, mine, and some others.

They're fastly made and accurate, but they don't look fine. There's not much work at all behind them them, they're there for getting downloads, and I don't guess it's fun to make them.

I have some respect for those which are built in 3d Max and imported after that, but copy-paste imports are just... Copy-pastes...

So, seriously, don't get beaten by imports. I won't. Maybe some day real imports (full dae to mdl0 imports) look really fine and there's some advantage with them, but the current imports are just stages-to-be-improved-in-the-future. Nothing more.

The current importing process we have has bad shaders.

Look at DSX8's Peach's Castle. He can't really do anything about it right now.

Well the current import method isn't the best one, I also think that it's not that fun to make those stages. Like you I'm not gonna let them beat me, your stages are perfect to show me that we can beat imports.

The current importing process we have has bad shaders.

Look at DSX8's Peach's Castle. He can't really do anything about it right now.

Yeah, without the shaders they don't look that great, but it's possible to fix some stuff with texture editing. xD

your stages look even better than imports, more accurate

Thank you so much! ;D

Sorry for being dead guys...I'm really busy with real life stuff and I can't really work on my stages, I think I can show you guys the last preview of Hyrule Castle Courtyard!
Not much eh? Wrong! I've made some good progress but I don't want to show you all the current state of the main part of the stage. :P
Obviously Zelda won the poll, so I'll be making a Zelda stage and also a stage for the second place!
Here's my "to do list":
1- Finish Hyrule Castle Courtyard
2- Make a new Zelda Stage
3- Mario Stage.
4- Maybe a revamp of an old stage (still not sure about which stage).

Now you might think: "hey why is he going to make a Mario stage if Sonic got the second place?"
Well Sonic was a troll option, even if I said enough Sonic people still wanted Sonic stages. Maybe next time guys. xD
I was planning to make Deku Palace, well being busy made me lost the opportunity because DSX8 is already importing it. I had almost everything done to start it, I was really hyped about that...It's getting kinda hard to hyped about some stuff, but I'm okay just not sure about if I should make Deku Palace or make something new. I'm also kinda open to some suggestions for Zelda stages.
So tell me what you all think about my next Zelda stage. :)

If I don't tell him things like this, he will not make the stage because of you importing it... And I, personally, don't like the idea of having good stage builders to surrender because of those other stagers that decide to import lots of stages at once.

It's not bringing you down, is trying to save staging. When people like CutterKirby64 get tired of making stages, this will become a real sht.

well, not to be obnoxious or anything, but if a stage model already exists in another game, and can be imported, why spend precious time recreating it bit by bit? It's not out of disrespect to you stage builders, I respect you guys very much, but I dont want to see you guys reinventing the wheel when you don't have to. Imagine instead that you had imported your sm64 peaches castle stage. Instead of recreating the stage bit by bit, you could have spent much less time just fixing the import, and you could have spent the time saved making that moving platform (like the mariokart alternate one) that everyone wanted. Honestly, I would love to see your talents put to more fun, inventive stages rather than recreating old stuff. but thats just me... Seriously. I'm tired of seeing so many pretty stages that are just flat walkoffs...

This line is true.

Though most of more popular stagers more or less often do something that is not flat.

I agree, importing things that already exist is faster, and more impressive things can be made while saving time. But, what I intend to say is, when people start doing stages in no time, when those stages were in your plans, you probably leave those ideas, cause they're already made. Doesn't matter if the stage is imported, recreated, or whatever, it's just that when somebody takes you the advantage of making something first, you probably lose interest. And that's something bad.

Holy [censored] that whole issue with flat stages again? Does anyone know how many damn stages there is out there? There is plenty flat stages, and plenty non flat stages.

I find it ironic since before hacking so many people [censored]ed about non flat stages, how you couldn't Brawl in them, blah blah blah. Now it's the other way around.

If you don't like it, don't download it. Jesus Christ man.

There are 69 pages. with 25 stages on each page. That's 1725 stages. I have looked at them ALL. I check the new stages list every week to see if there is anything worth putting on my wii. Ive been checking for almost a YEAR now (see my join date? since then). Believe me when I say, that there aren't as many as you think there are. But really, no need to get upset over the issue. I'm not saying you shouldn't do what you want to do, I'm just wishing there were more nice stages I could have a serious match on.

Are those guards 3D or 2D?

Like PAVGN said they are 2D. :P

Worried about someone importing a stage you want to make?

Make it anyway.

:srs:

Yeah that's probably what I'll be doing...gotta think about it.

I'm familiar with CutterKirby's work, so I would have to say they are 2D.

Huh, for some reason I was expecting "Too bad! Waluigi time!" But now that I think about It that doesn't make any sense.

Oh you were expecting a "Too bad! Waluigi Time!"? oO
(http://i55.tinypic.com/2ut45eq.png)
LOL, anyway you already know about how I make stuff. xD

Keep your idea on. Yours will look better than DSX8's. I'm sure about that.
If I don't tell him things like this, he will not make the stage because of you importing it... And I, personally, don't like the idea of having good stage builders to surrender because of those other stagers that decide to import lots of stages at once.

Well first of all, thanks Mewtwo! Even with the whole importer thing you kept doing your stuff and encouraging stagers like me. I really appreciate that, I shouldn't be acting like that about the importer but well I enjoy making stages, I really do. You probably know how it is to see a stage you were planning and was hyped about it being imported. To be honest I almost lost my interest on stage hacking, now I'm not as hyped as I was but I still want to make some stuff and you really helped me. Now the importer is out, I still have to think about my future projects but yeah I'll probably be making some stages, I won't stop it because of some importer thing. Like you said it'll probably be useful for us stagers at some point. Thanks again Mewtwo2000.

awww cmon man, dont bring me down like that D= lol... but still, i agree wit u on that >.>

Don't worry about that DSX8, he wasn't trying to bring you down. ;)

well, not to be obnoxious or anything, but if a stage model already exists in another game, and can be imported, why spend precious time recreating it bit by bit? It's not out of disrespect to you stage builders, I respect you guys very much, but I dont want to see you guys reinventing the wheel when you don't have to. Well why do we keep spending precious time building stages? Because it's fun, I really enjoy stage hacking so I don't see any problem about spending 1 month or something like that making something I like. Of course, that takes more time and makes people wait more then if those stages were just imported. Now we can expand our creativity to make some original stuff, I've been thinking about some original stages but because of school I can't spend too much time working on stages now, but soon I'll be able to make more stuff. About the flat stage thing...there are some flat stages out there but just because a stage is flat it doesn't mean it sucks, the fact of the stage being flat doesn't take all the quality of the stage away. A good example of that is my M.E. Shrine, it's flat but I spent 2 months working on it and over 1000 people enjoy it. Even if the stage is flat it is possible to have a "serious match". I respect your opinion, if you don't like those it's okay. :)

Holy [censored] that whole issue with flat stages again? Does anyone know how many damn stages there is out there? There is plenty flat stages, and plenty non flat stages.

I agree Enzo, I've saw a lot of people complaining about flat stages and like you said they are not obligated to download the stage. Instead of just not downloading a lot of them just keep complaining about how the stage is flat, sucks and stuff. Like I said just because a stage is flat doesn't mean the flatness will be taking all the quality away. Couldn't agree more with you man.

+1 MM forever.

:vyse: You shouldn't have said that. lol.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Wow long quote is long...Okay so just to keep you guys updated, Black Boo gave me permission to use his Young Zelda model, now I'm trying to make the stage work without freezes with Zelda because there are a lot of models there. Something like 219. xD
Also will you look through the window, AGAIN?
See? I fixed those Guards, now they're not only Guards but Throne Room Knight. xD
Only Zelda is left to finish that and start some new stages. I'll try some stuff to make Zelda work and I think there will be a HD version included in the release.

Hey guys, it's been a while since my last update so now here it is, the finished Courtyard. Like I said before this one includes de original version and a HD one. I gotta say that I had a hard time with this stage, trying to make Zelda work. The stage had 219 model and now it has something like 178. xD
The stage comes with 2 versions, rel files to use over Temple and over Custom Stage Slots, SSS Stuff and some fitting brstms. Check my blogpost here: http://infinitesmashteam.blogspot.com/ (http://infinitesmashteam.blogspot.com/)
Here's the download:

Hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!

Well I had a huge break from hacks while I was busy with real life stuff, I gotta say...it was good, I was only enjoying my life, I didn't even played Brawl in that time, I probably lost my interest in brawl hacks. I'm not sure what is going to happen, I still need to think about it. Also this has nothing to do with imports. I like them, there are some amazing stuff out there, I just think I lost my interest and I'm not saying that I gave up, I just need to think. Let's see what happens in the future. :)

The only bad thing about the stage is the HD version itself. People seem to like it, but I personally think the standard one looks better. The bricks are too big, and not realistic. Too artificial or something.

Now it's when you say the brick textures are taken from photos ^^U xD

Nice work ;)

Damn, didn't read this part. Well, whatever you do, it will be okay. If somebody loses interest in something, it makes no sense to lose time in that thing anymore. But, if you keep enjoying the stage building world, then just don't be afraid to get into hacking again. Sometimes people need to rest, change their activities. And, after a few days/months/whatever, then can feel like getting back to what they left, and return with more strength.

Keep in mind that, even if you left now, you've already demonstrated you're one of the best stage makers that the SSBB hacking world has ever seen. So, don't feel obligated to keep your activity here.

Anyway, and because of that, your hacks would be missed from now on.

Hello guys, first of all I'd like to thank everyone here who gave me feedback about my Hyrule Castle Courtyard, I'm glad that some people enjoyed the HD version (this one got a video thanks to NagomeTechTech. ;D)
Anyway maybe some of you guys noticed that I've been more active recently, or not dunno, I know it's been a while since I last updated this thread but I've made my decision...I'll keep making some stages, I kinda missed stage hacking. Now it's time to give you guys an update on that "To do list" I mentioned before (page 17).

"To do list":
1- Finish Hyrule Castle Courtyard (Done)
2- Make a new Zelda Stage (20%)
3- Mario Stage. (85%)
4- Revamp of an old stage. (99% - Release Pending)

Yeah the revamp is done, finished everything: SSS Stuff, brstms, stage. I'm not sure if I should make a new vault entry or if I should update the old one, suggestions are welcome. Sorry guys there aren't any previews to show now. :(
Hope I was able to give you all some good news. xD

So here it is everyone, the Mario stage I've mentioned in my "To do list" and also my comeback stage: Donut Plains.
I made the stage based on Donut Plains and then I've decided to make some extra versions, all of them based on Super Mario Stages: Yoshi Island 3, Chocolate Island 2 & 5 and Vanilla Dome. Like always I've included a brstm pack, rel files to use over a Custom Stage Slot and over Smashville and some SSS stuff (individual and for those who want all the stages together over Smashville).
Check my blogpost here for more info: http://infinitesmashteam.blogspot.com/ (http://infinitesmashteam.blogspot.com/)

"To do list":
1- Finish Hyrule Castle Courtyard (Done)
2- Make a new Zelda Stage (30%)
3- Mario Stage. (Done)
4- Revamp of an old stage. (99% - Release Pending)

That means I need to release that secret revamp and finish the Zelda stage, anyone here knows which stage I've revamped??? :P
Check my vault and see which one was in need of a revamp, I gotta say the old one looks terrible compared to the new one. xD

Also love the song selections for it. Luckily they work for me, too. Been having some crappy luck with songs working on some stages recently :notimp:
Well I think you'll never have music problems with my stages because one of the most important things to me for a release is to get fitting stuff for it, like brstms. I spend some time looking for remixes and that kind of stuff, I'm always trying to make a full pack to make everything easier for everyone. I'm glad you like my selections. :D

i voted Gate Laboratory by mistake...

I WANT REVAMP OF FOREST MAZE :rage:

and also great job on Super Mario World stages :D
Oh don't worry about that, I've already revamped a stage and I wanted to know if you guys would be able to found out which one I revamped. Obviously there's a stage in that poll that people really want me to revamp so yeah...*puts that stage in the "To do List"
Anyway, thanks for the feedback. xD

Great job on your sonic stages- actually, pretty much all of em' really. Keep em' coming to make us occupied ;D
Thanks! It seems that most of the people here are interested in my Sonic Stages which I think are one of my specialities. xD
Sure I'll keep them all coming!

CutterK...

That new Mario Stage is on my list of stages to add when I finish my BattleToad Hack, with the others being GBC's Waluigi Stadium and Moonlit Hill by MasterGawain and kirbybubbles.

Simply...Breathtaking. Hats off to you!
Oh really? That's good to know, thank you sir! :)

So everyone, I've decided to release the Secret Revamp next week! This poll is really interesting...even if I'm not revamping the one that is winning it's good to show me what people want and expect from me. Not bad guys. ;)
Now for the Zelda stage, I can say it's 35% done now...I'm making some slow progress there, dunno I don't feel like working on it even if I want to.

CutterKirby, personally I'm a big fan of your stages, they're all really good.
Although a revamp of any one of your stages would be awesome, have you had any plans for new stages in mind?

Threw on Gate Laboratory today. I love it. Songs loop very well! It gives me a small Temple vibe. As long as you're quick, you can abuse the ceilings to survive at higher percentiles. Those make the funniest fights :D

Well I sure have, there's this Zelda stage related to the song I showed before and I'm also planning to make a MMX stage soon. ^^

I've already made the revamp, it was done before the poll and I just wanted to know if you guys would be able to find out which one I've revamped, that's not a poll asking which stage you guys want me to revamp so don't worry KTH. xD

I'm glad to know that you've been enjoying some stages of mine recently. I really appreciatte what you've been doing, not only giving me feedback on how the stage looks but also about the gameplay and included stuff like brstms. Thanks for that! I'm looking foward to future feedbacks from you Haseyo. ;)

So just some quick updates, I made some small progress again in the Zelda stage (which I don't know why I'm not that hyped recently...) and also decided to make a new MMX stage. So anyone want some previews of any of those? Well I didn't even started the MMX one and let's say the Zelda stage is at 38%.
Oh yeah almost forgot, secret revamp release this week!!! :)

No problem! Some people make great stages but some slight flaws, and if no one says anything, the creator won't see any issues. A shiny stage is cool, but if it really isn't playable, then I must remove it. Music is very important to me. My friends love the MM stage, two of them immediately know what it was from. I'd love another MM stage :D (might ask for a .rel if it isn't over Skyworld or Big Blue, if possible.) They love all the other stages so I don't wanna keep swapping good stages.

Finally someone else decides to do another MMX stage (dont know if X1 or another X game). I would like to see the Zelda stage preview and more details on MMX stage.

I also want to say i love all your stages especially Gates Laboratory, mainly because of the Mega Man X6 and X4 boss themes brtsms that i created to fit the stage well.

(I would also suggest a 3d-ish backround for Eurasia City, it would be really cool)

Indeed, if I don't get some great feedback I won't be able to know what needs to be changed to make a better stage. :)
Sure, I'll make you a rel file for any of those, when I finish the stage just tell the one you want! They're easy to make.

Finally someone else decides to do another MMX stage (dont know if X1 or another X game). I would like to see the Zelda stage preview and more details on MMX stage.

Thanks man, there sure are a lot of fitting boss themes to use! As for the MMX stage, I think I'll be making a stage from MMX6, I've already started some texture work. Like always I'm keeping this stage as a secret but it sure have a great BGM. About Eurasia City, I've been thinking about it too and don't worry because it'll also be revamped. ;)

I gotta say, that's the first time I see some kind of MMX hype in my thread, usually I don't even get feedback from my MMX stages so thanks Haseyo and hero3120, you guys made me really happy showing some hype about a planned MMX stage. ;D
Zelda stage preview coming soon...

I actually discovered how to make .rel files now. The program kinda confused me at first but a Youtube tut helped me. Now I have your Gloam Valley stage too. It's great! Nice platforms and the bit of water allows for fun dunking contests (something we do on campus often xD only way to die is to be spiked in water). Song works perfect.

I'm guessing the Zelda stage has something to do with the Sonata of Awakening...
Meh, I dunno... Deku Palace? The monkey teaches you it there in Majora's Mask.

By the way, I also get seriously hyped when I hear about the Megaman X stages, sooooo much nostalgia. X5 and X6 were the first ones I played as a kid, and I used to request Eurasia City all the time when I first joined KC-MM a couple years back. I still use the one you created.

Also thanks for the feedback, I tried to make an interesting gameplay using those Grass like platforms, the only bad thing is that in that time I wasn't able to find more fitting brstms for the stage...

So another MMX fan here in my thread? That's amazing, now I want to finish that MMX as soon as possible, I love that MMX hype here. ;D
So you're still using that Eurasia City? Prepare to replace it with a brand new version soon.

Okay time for the secret revamp release.....

Aquarium Park V2.0

So everyone it's finally here, the secret revamp! The Aquarium Park V2.0!
Why I've decided to revamp it? Well it's been a long time since I released the first version of this stage but I've been improving a lot and I realized that my work in V1 wasn't that great and that's why I've decided to revamp it! There are huge improvements, you guys can check pictures from V1 and check those, there are new animations for Sonic and Tails, fishes and a lot of new BG stuff.
So the stage comes with an improved Music Pack, 3 rel files to use over Pictochat, Custom Stage Slot and Yoshi's Island (Brawl) and also includes all the SSS Stuff you guys will need.
Now I'm really happy with the results, I'd love to have a video for this stage so please if anyone here can make one I'd be really grateful.
You guys can check better pictures here in my blogpost: https://infinitesmashteam.wordpress.com/ (https://infinitesmashteam.wordpress.com/)

(http://i.imgur.com/BMiDA.png) (http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=25129)

Well I'm sure that people didn't voted on Aquarium Park in that poll because they knew I revamped it but because they WANTED me to revamp it....This poll was good to see what you guys want from me. Anyway let's check my list.

"To do list":
1- Finish Hyrule Castle Courtyard (Done)
2- Make a new Zelda Stage (30%)
3- Mario Stage. (Done)
4- Revamp of an old stage. (Done)
5- Megaman X stage (50%)

Or if it's a Sonic stage, make :

I would like to see more Mario, similar to Donut Plains :af2:

Carnival Night is an interesting stage but I prefer the new gen sonic stages. Like, those from 3D games, but there are a lot of great stages from old games to make.

Forest Maze and or MMX Stage...NOW

For now MMX stage! ;D

You know, I always wanted to make Central Highway! I'd be really grateful if you could send me those textures. This would be an easy and fun stage to make. Zelda stage is coming soon and I still need to start Eurasia City.

Weapon Center (Megaman X6)

Hey everyone, here it is, the MMX stage I've been doing for some time, the Weapon Center from Megaman X6. I always thought this was one of the most epic places in the game, and once again it was fun to make the transition from a 2D sprite to a 3D stage. Like always it comes with all the SSS stuff you'll need, fitting brstms and 3 rel files: one to use over Corneria and one for a Custom Stage Slot. The stage goes over Final Destination without any rel files. There are a lot of animated stuff in this stage! I tried to make it just like the original, the same goes for when you enter the stage...for this reason I'd love to have a video for this stage so please if anyone here can make one I'd be really grateful.
You guys can check better pictures here in my blogpost: https://infinitesmashteam.wordpress.com/ (https://infinitesmashteam.wordpress.com/)

Okay, let's check the "To do List" again guys.

"To do list":
1- Finish Hyrule Castle Courtyard (Done)
2- Make a new Zelda Stage (60%)
3- Mario Stage. (Done)
4- Revamp of an old stage. (Done)
5- Megaman X stage (Done)

So there's only one item left now, then I'll make a new list and follow it again! I don't like to see my thread that dead so now I'll start to show previews here, I promise guys. xD
I'll try to keep it alive! Zelda stage preview soon, the one related to that song.

You know, I always wanted to make Central Highway! I'd be really grateful if you could send me those textures. This would be an easy and fun stage to make.
The textures are actually from X7, the first stage you play as Zero. It wouldn't end up looking like the classic Central Highway, but instead would end up looking like the X7 one (Open Road Again). I actually started making a stage like it, but the models messed up some of the textures and stuff. It ended up pretty nice, but I don't think it's of high enough quality for the vault with all the new and awesome stages like yours.

Thank you so much! It's great to have some hype about those stages here! At first I wasn't planning to do it but since I knew how to do it I've decided to make it act exactly like the original from MMX6. Those damn Mijinion multiplications...Well this game is one of my favorites. Dunno which one if my favorite...maybe X5? ;D

Thanks man! I'm glad to know that you like it. So about the textures, no problem! As long as I finish the Zelda stage I'll include Central Highway in my new list. It'll be fun, I'm getting kinda hyped. :)

So is there anyone here with some other suggestions for my next list? I may consider those, like I did to Central Highway. ;)
Also I'll be posting a preview of the Zelda stage soon.

I used them for my stage and it looked pretty good. I'm thinking about posting it, but I need to somehow get previews first.

As for what to do next, maybe make something from a series you haven't made a stage from yet? I don't have any specific places in mind, but it's an idea.

CutterKirby, I know I'm late and [censored] but......

I just recently downloaded Aquarium Park v2.

I'd say about 3 weeks ago.

Use to play with my boys all the time on there, and we [censored]ing love it. I have the version without Sonic and Tails, cause sometimes I fight as Tails so it's weird seeing him in the back.

Anyway, the stage is BEAUTIFUL. Don't tell me you made that from scratch?

There has to be some imported things.. somewhere.

I think that's your best stage so far, and the way it's set up, the water on the side, and how you can stand on the top left of the stage and be evil by getting the FS from that height, is [censored]ing epic.

To sum it all up, it's an amazing stage, and you did great!

Uh, you're welcome! :D
I probably should've posted those on your thread too, hahaha.

Finally tried out Weapon Center. I love it. Darkening the screen is about as close to a stage hazard as we can get, lol.

The textures for Central Highway can be found here...
[url]http://www.sprites-inc.co.uk/files/X/X7/Textures/Other/[/url]
I used them for my stage and it looked pretty good. I'm thinking about posting it, but I need to somehow get previews first.

I've already got some from Maverick Hunter so I'm not sure if I'll be using those. But thanks!
Also I think you should post your stage, you spent time working on it and if you think it looks pretty good why not release it? :P

I love how it goes black, and then that big guy appears. So cool.

I've never thought you would try it, thanks Seggy. xD

Hey Enzo, no problem! Better late than never eh? xD
Thanks man, I'm glad to know that you and your boys are enjoying it! Well that's what I thought when I was making the stage, it would be weird to have 2 Tails in the stage, that's why I made a version without those guys.
Nope, there are no imported stuff, I made the whole stage with Brawl models. Since it's my favorite stage I've decided to put a lot of effort on it and I'm really happy with the results. I also wanted it to have good collisions for an enjoyable gameplay.
Thanks again for the awesome feedback Enzo.

[url]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lh_A_gWVTAM[/url]

Watch it in 720p!

Told ya I'd do it.

Oh look, you've really done it! You've also used the right song!! Thanks Gamma, you're awesome. ;)
And yes, I'll make something from new series, not sure which stage but I will.

Finally tried out Weapon Center. I love it. Darkening the screen is about as close to a stage hazard as we can get, lol.

Thanks Haseyo, it wouldn't be Weapon Center without that blackout, right?

Anyway, I've started Central Highway 2 days ago, and here's an early brawlbox preview of it.
Well, I got hyped about it. As you guys can see it'll be based in the Maverick Hunter version and I'll be probably using the same gameplay as SSF2
I still need to take some in-game pictures of this and the Zelda stage!

Central Highway looks [censored]ing sexy.

That sky, from Rayquaza's Lake, is not only highly overused, but only looks good when only the top clouds are seen. There's plenty different skies on Brawl: SSE. Check them out.

[censored], now I don't know if I want to revamp my version, or work together on a new one?

Let me know.

Just to let you know, WutzMercy is working on Central Highway SSF2 version.

But those textures looks awesome! Its from Maverick Hunter X?

Well, since I've been away for a long time I didn't know he was working on it. Anyway, I've decided not to make the SSF2 gameplay for this stage. I prefer the Maverick Hunter X / CutterKirby style. xD
Yup, those textures are all from Maverick Hunter.

Central Highway looks [censored]ing sexy.

That sky, from Rayquaza's Lake, is not only highly overused, but only looks good when only the top clouds are seen. There's plenty different skies on Brawl: SSE. Check them out.

Thanks Enzo! Yeah I know, when I start the BG I'll make sure to try to hide the bottom clouds. But I'll also check some other skies from SSE, in case this one doesn't look good at all.
Well since I've disappeared for some days, I've already made a good progress in the stage, it's almost finished so it'd be better to make your own version if you feel like it. Also, now that you've mentioned it...when are we going to work together in a stage? ;D

Sexy as [censored]! Love how it looks so far.

The sky bothers me so much though. I know you're gonna remove it and get a much better one, but still, takes away the beauty of it. It would even look better without a sky for the time being of not having one yet.

CutterKirby, I love your stages, you already know!

Hello there everyone! First of all, I'd like to wish you guys a happy 2014! Well, I told you guys I' would not disappear for another six months, instead I've disappeared for 19 months. xD
So, today I'm finally releasing the stage I've started back on 2012, my Central Highway! I'm sorry that it took to long to be released, it gave me a lot of problems, which was the main reason why I lost my interest on it. Suddenly I've started to check my brawl files, and got the urge to finish it and all my unfinished stuff. So, like always, it comes with a brstm pack, all the needed SSS Stuff, a rel file to use it over New Pork City, and one to use it over a Custom Stage Slot. You guys can use it over Final Destination without the use of .rel files. A video of this stage would be really appreciated by me, I'd be very grateful. There are some animated stuff like Bee Bladers, Search Lights and some elements to give the stage that Megaman X series feel, like the Capcom signs. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!! Here's the download link:

(http://i.imgur.com/BMiDA.png) (http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=35574)

So, I guess that leaves my "To do List" with only one item.

"To do list":

1- Make a new Zelda Stage (60%)

I'll make sure to take care of this little one there. I guess that means I'm kinda back. ;)

Wow, thank you, ForOhFor Error. Those words meant a lot to me, really. It's rewarding to know that people like you respect and appreciate such a method, now that few people use it, like you said. You made me feel acknowledged for doing something that I really like. Thanks again for your words, good sir. :)

Make sure you've add the module file included in the download in the module folder, or else it'll load Final Destination but without any stage file being loaded. The module file (st_newpork.rel) goes in RSBE>pf>module, and the stage files goes in RSBE>pf>stage>melee, named as STGNEWPORK.pac.

Hey there everyone, I know I broke my promise not to disappear, but it stronger than me, and hey it only took 2 months this time, but I was around in the Brawl Vault..xD
So, I'll make it up to you all with a new stage, straight from the Creepy Pasta main source game, Majora's Mask! It is not fair to give Ocarina of Time all of the lightspots, Majora's Mask deserve some love too! Prepare to travel through Hyrule's paralel universe, the palace of all Deku Scrubs, just be careful not to know the wrath of a king whose darling princess was taken away from him!

I'm guessing the Zelda stage has something to do with the Sonata of Awakening...
Meh, I dunno... Deku Palace? The monkey teaches you it there in Majora's Mask.

You're the winner, nedless to say that you've hit the X of the question!
...^ :>.>palm:
Well, I've tried. xD

Anywaaay, here it is, the Deku Palace! This time I've decided to focus on all kinds of details, including those that you all won't be seeing during the fight, like the Octorok, and the garden area. As you guy would have probably guessed, it was IMPOSSIBLE to have a decent gameplay only on the lilypads, that's the main reason why I've decided to be a little creative about making a good place for a fight. So, I've decided to creat a custom Deku platform, based on some elements from Woodfall's Temple entrance. Besides that, I've added some bars below the main lilypads avaiable for the fight, that way you or the CPUs won't be swimming through them. Since I had a great time including an HD version for Hyrule Castle's Courtyard, why not for Deku Palace? It's kinda a new tradition to me now. xD
And now, here's something unexpected from me:

CutterKirby64's Stage Hacks - Deku Palace (Majora's Mask) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BjwDX17Ytw0#)

Yup, that right, I've finally decided to buy a Capture Card! That's a showcase made by me against my little brother, showing both version included in the download, with their respectives songs (also included). The quality is not the best one, I'm not sure why, but I think it is good enough for my first showcase. Any experienced Easycap users tips would be welcome, to improve the quality. xD
Oh, I almost forgot, there are some Easter Eggs in the stage, think you can find them all...? :>.>:
I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!! Here's the download link:

Subscribe for showcases and matches: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJqyWB2X9D_-kK4Pc-yqsAQ (http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJqyWB2X9D_-kK4Pc-yqsAQ)

So, I guess that concludes my old "To do List":

"To do list":
1- Finish Hyrule Castle Courtyard (Done)
2- Make a new Zelda Stage (Done)
3- Mario Stage. (Done)
4- Revamp of an old stage. (Done)
5- Megaman X stage (Done)

Well, untill I figure out what to do next, I'm totally open to sugestions, recommendations and stuff. :)
It took a while to finish the stage because I've focused on BrawlEx, including new characters and stuff. I might add a Youtube section in the thread, and I might as well record some random matches, showcases and that kind of stuff. I'll be posting them here, it might help to end the Ghost Town that the thread becomes between releases. I do need to be more active and give more attention to my thread. ;D

Awesome stage! Just downloaded it. :)

As for requests, maybe a Yoshi or DK stage to celebrate DKC TF and Yoshi's New Island?

I would love a Starlight Carnival or Asteroid Coaster stage.
Personally, I would want Tropical Resort or Planet Wisp.

You are by far now my favorite stage designer. Apparently I have been using some of your stages already and didn't even realize it. Thanks for the Majora's Mask stage, that game definitely needs more love on the Vault. I'm sure it will be a long time before you come back to it, but I think one section of MM that needs a good stage is on the moon at the end of the game.

Awesome stage as always, CutterKirby64. It's awesome how the stage looks like imported straight from Majora's mask, and it really isn't.

Btw, from the zip, looks like the stage was made like 1 month ago though, right? :P

Well, I want to present you with this:

Both characters are swimming in the water. Left is your water, right is the new water I'm giving you. I've also changed just a little the shadow system so it looks a little darker and less blue. The central pad now includes its own shadow, so I've removed the shadow system model for that one.

I've done it only to the classic one, I suppose a texturedata swap would update the other one.

https://www.mediafire.com/folder/ronjadioqr1pg/ (https://www.mediafire.com/folder/ronjadioqr1pg/)

A small explanation:

Models with semi-ransparent textures that are see-through don't cover the characters, unless you start their name with 'gr2_'. Looks like it's a special name for models in stages so this kind of materials get the priority.

The model has now a shader that's proper for that, but it wouldn't work well without the proper name. So both model and its name have been changed.

It's nice to see you've got now a capture card. But I guess I'll still make a video of your stage to help you advertising it, it takes no time after all ;)

Keep enjoying this the way you do :kdance:

How about some more Sonic Colors stages?
I would love a Starlight Carnival or Asteroid Coaster stage.
Personally, I would want Tropical Resort or Planet Wisp.

Sonic Colors stages do have a great potential of being made by me, since I do love all of them and their respectives soundtracks. They all have their interesting concepts, and I'd have to take them into considerations, along with a good spot for a fight and my creativity. Actually, Planet Wisp has more chances of being made, it's an epic place and have been suggested and wanted ever since I've released Aquarium Park.

I love you.

Thanks Xerom, nice way to express your feelings about the stage, lol. xD

Oooooooooh, Deku Palace! I love that place! I'm totally using this~

Too bad I never noticed this thread though... I think I'm going to be keeping watch of it now!

Thanks Lillith! Great to know you'll be using it. I know you love Zelda, and Deku Palace won't be my last stage from the series, so keep on watching! ;D

Awesome stage! Just downloaded it. :)

As for requests, maybe a Yoshi or DK stage to celebrate DKC TF and Yoshi's New Island?

Thanks ToadKart, that's awesome to know!
And for the suggestions, try to be as specific as possible, like the place from the game and stuff.
All suggestions will be taken into consideration. ;)

id be up for a DK stage. ive always wanted to play in mad jack's boss room (just an example)

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll be looking at it sir! :)
Any others with their respectives specifications will be welcome.

Thank you so much, Revenaut! It's a honor to know that. Glad you've enjoyed it, and all the others stages made by me that you've been using. xD
Maybe not that long, after all I had a great time making a stage from MM, and like I said this game needs more love, and I wouldn't mind giving it. Majora's Mask stages are fun to make. Also, thanks for your suggestion! It sure is an epic place to build. Any others will be welcome, especially from MM. ;)

Thank you, Mewtwo2000! It's awesome to know that it looks like an import. Actually, the only imported thing is one of the Easter Eggs, which you've been credited for importing. xD
The stage was started back when I first showed some previews of Central Highway, it was in my "to do list", as "Make a new Zelda Stage". I had some of it done, and when I disappeared both stages got stuck. I've got back on track almost immediately after Central Highway's release. But you're right, something like 1 month or more. xD

So, about the semi-transparent, I woudn't imagine that such thing as this detail would interfere in how the model would work. I'm really grateful for the fixes to those models, and for the explanation, really. I've already updated the stage, thanks for always helping me so much, it's good to know that I can count on you for some help sometimes.

It's good to have a capture card, I can record some matches of my stages, make some showcases and all that stuff. Showcases from you would be still appreciated, if it's all good to you, thank you!
It'll be great for advertising, and for showcases with more quality, since yours is better than mine. xD

You can count on me, I'll be enjoying it as much as I can. :kdance:

So, everyone, first of all the stage have been updated, thanks to Mewtwo2000! Go download it for a better poison, as shown in the pictures above!

(http://i.imgur.com/BMiDA.png) (http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=36447)

About my next stage, I'll keep thinking and taking into consideration all the suggestions, with my decisions and stuff. Since I just got my hands into an updated semi-transparent model, provided by Mewtwo2000, I should update Gloam Valley as well, with the new model for a better effect, while I'm at it, I've been thinking about something, why not revamp it? There are a lot of thing that could be improved, and it would be a quick revamp. Any thoughts?
I might as well post some weekly videos, with showcases and random matches, dunno.

Aquarium Park is a little laggy with 4 players. You should be able to get rid of it now with the Tristripper.

He's using Brawl models, so the tristripper isn't gonna make much. At least, what's the way it's supposed to be. Tristripping only makes sense when one imports models from the outside.

Fusing models, though, may get some small improvement with lag and filesize. But not much.

As I said on IST, i think this is one of your best stages yet. You really nailed every detail and it looks like an import.

I think a Gloam Valley v2 would be cool to see, that's probably one of my favorite stages of yours. It's already pretty good but there is always room for improvement.

Ok, my suggestions would be for DK either Seashore War from Tropical Freeze, or any of the lava stages from DKC 2. For a Yoshi stage, maybe a jungle stage from SMW2, like Touch Fuzzy Get Dizzy, or Nep Enuts Domain.

Hi Cutterkirby,

I did some modifications to your SMW stage and, I grew to enjoy it so much, I wanted to share the modification. Would you want me to post it to BV with credit to you, or not do it? Either way it's not a big deal.

Thanks!

I like your deku palace stage – very well done. I looked pretty hard for the easter egg but I don't think I found it. Unless it's the way the bottom of the stage is laid out but I don't think I recognize it from anywhere
:>.>:

Hey if you're still looking for stage suggestions, could I suggest something from Xenoblade Chronicles? There's currently only one Xenoblade stage in the vault right now, and while beautiful, is just a background behind a retextured animal crossing stage. With my PSA of the main character coming out soon, it would be kind of fitting I guess. But ofc, just a suggestion :)

As for more specifics, maybe one of the floating islands in Eryth sea.

Like Mewtwo2000 stated, it wouldn't help me, since I've built the entire stage using Brawl models, I've tried to avoid it, but all the models in the stage were necessary to keep it exactly as I wanted it to be. :P

Thanks Erico, it's great to see a new face around this thread! Were you able to find all the Easter Eggs? If not, let's say it's more than you can see in battle.. :kdance:
Also, thanks for the suggestions, I've never played any game from Xenoblade Chronicles series, but from what I've searched I can tell that those are really interesting, not only that, but really beautiful! Exactly the kind of stages that I enjoy making, thanks again! ;)

Anywaaay, as you all might know, when CutterKirby posts someting it always comes with a release, right?
Look's like I've broke my promise again..oh well, let me make it up to you all, again!

Classic Central Highway (Megaman X SNES)

As some you might know, I've released my original Central Highway, based on Maverick Hunter X, back on january but this time I'm here to present the classic SNES version, for all of you fans of the original game! This alternate version comes with a brand new texture revamp and some model edits. Now, for some backstory of how this stage came out: Some time ago, this user named jeffersonian sent me a private message, showing his own retextured version of my Maverick Hunter X's Highway. He showed me a picture of it and then I've realized that there were many Megaman X fans, like me and him, with nostalgic feelings about the game itself. Check his version out:

I've decided to recreate the SNES version as a reward to him for all the efforts to bring to Brawl the original version of the stage. Some of his textures were used, as you all can see. Many thanks to him for reminding me of all the classic Megaman X fans and for the iniciative to recreate this stage! A few people were able to check the verion out before the release, those were my few subscribers on Youtube! There you go guys, a video with both versions of Central Highway, with a little improved quality (compared to Deku Palace's):

I'm still trying to figure out what to do next and I'll be still trying not to disappear all the time, I've been really busy with real life stuff, but I want to keep making some stages and some weekly matches, showcases and stuff on my channel.
