Title: ganondorf moveset hack (added pics)
Post by: ub3rPat on September 08, 2009, 11:59:43 AM
so i'm working on a new moveset for ganondorf, i'm trying to give him more ganondorf like moves with dark magic and a sword. i will change most of his attacks.
here's what i've done so far:
-faster running speed
-higher jumps

jab: fthrow animation with low knockback, good for after side-B.
dash attack: added fire effect

tilts:
F-tilt: swing animation, i've finished the hitboxes and graphic effects. now i need to get to sword to his hand, this move has good knockback.
U-tilt: it now has the upsmash animation, kills at around 110% when sweetspotted (but that won't happen much since the sweetspot is pretty small).
D-tilt: the same as it was.

smashes:
i only changed upsmash but i plan to change one other smash.
upsmash: upthrow animation, he thrusts his arm up, creating 2 explosions beside him.  the explosions have great range but don't kill untill after 120%. the sweetspot at his hand however, kills at around 80/90%.

aerials:
changes i made (no animation changes)
-fair sweetspot is a meteor smash now, and does more damage
-bair sweetspot has little more knockback and fire effect
-dair has less cooldown
-nair combo's and does more damage with a darkness effect on the 2nd hit
-uair's tip does 7% instead of 6 and and is more meteor smash like (pulls enemies infront of you you when they're on the ground)
-uair and nair have iasa frames (they come up very early)

throws:
dthow: this is now a cg (need to nerf it a bit) and has a darkness effect. it leads nicely into jab and some tilts.
fthrow: fthrow has now the downtilt animation and has a good horizontal knockback, it can kill at around 130% when done at the edge.

specials:
i didn't change forward spacial and upspecial.
neutral B: win1 animation, making a wall of darkness infront of him out of the ground, has multiple hitboxes. it kills at around 55%, but you can di out of it pretty easily.
down B: uptaunt animation creating a black hole behind him. this attack has much invincibility frames, but it has like 1 second of startup time. kills at around 80%. aerial down b is the same as it was.
