Title: How to get .rels for stages!

I've been seeing a lot of requests for .rels for stages. Here should be the solution. ;D

First Download the Stage Switcher by Bero: http://www.mediafire.com/?rmr2j837li4867n (http://www.mediafire.com/?rmr2j837li4867n)

You Will Need

Normal Stages: http://www.mediafire.com/?gati5i96tbl16mt (http://www.mediafire.com/?gati5i96tbl16mt)

Instructions

Step 1: Open up Stage Switcher

Step 2: Put all the Normal Stages in the folder named "rel"(without the quotation marks).

Step 3: Figure out from the stage you downloaded what stage it was ORIGINALLY MADE ON.

Step 4: Once you figure that out...while you're in Stage Switcher click the stage it was ORIGINALLY MADE ON
in the drop-down bar where it says "What stage is selected file?"

Step 5: Now under "Select the stage you want to switch" in the drop down bar click the stage you want to put it over.

Step 6: Click the button on the bottom that says "Start"

There you go! Now go back to your Stage Switcher folder. Go to the folder called "edited". You will find the .rel you made.

*Make sure the .rel goes into pf/module once you have your desired .rel


Now for Custom Stages you just need to simply need to follow "Step 3" from above. So find that file. Rename it to something like st_custom00.pac(first custom stage file)
Here's what you should name your custom stage .rels:

this is good and all, but what if you own a pal copy of brawl and you use Riivolution
what do you do to get .rel's to work then

I would think it's in the Data Partition 2 in the BV Resources.

I tried to switch Mewtwo2000's Phantom Ganons Room which is over Luigi's Mansion:

to Wario Ware Inc stage but it doesn't seem to work. The blue light on the wii turns off which means something is wrong.

(im using beyond you's riivolution settings)

Please help why this happens

Can someone help me please? I have an issue with the custom stages not loading. I have a stage for Corneria and I used a .rel from this offical tut package download from smashboards which said "st_custom for Croneria" so I changed it to st_custom01.pac and STGCUSTOM01.pac in the stage folder so I also got these pre-made codes from it as-well and when I click it the wii light turns on and it looks like its loading but then the light goes off and my usb(SD card slot reads but not writes I use USB to load which works fine). Can anyone help?

Did you put st_custom01.rel in the module folder?

Ya sorry I put st_custom01.pac meant .rel but ya I did, and if it helps I use Riivolution. I found out that the .xml I was using had the names for the custom stages like STGCUSTOM1.pac, st_custom1.rel, STGCUSTOM2.pac, st_custom2.rel etc... so I changed them to 01,02 etc up to 9. So I tryed it out and it still gave the same result. If you could like upload a pack with like one stage that works with stage expansion 2.0 I would be very thankful. and here's the raw coding from RSBE.xml for Riivolution its not mod launcher its one I got from Brawl -(Minus) which actually works with the common5.pac which I had an issue with earlier.

The only thing that's working is your awesome stage expansion pack for version 1.1 of PW's code which works perfectly 2.0 isn't working and I have no idea why. I even used one of the stage's from your pack and got one of the .rel's from a package that's made for 2.0 stage expansion code.

You can search the .rel files in the Data Partition 2 of the Vault:

I have a problem as well... I'm trying to replace Onett with any stage, but it doesn't work, when I select Onett in the SSS, it doesn't freeze, but the background is black, with the Onett clouds and roof.
I'm sure I choose the correct .rel file, put the files in the correct folders and that the files are named correctly.
