A project over 2 years in the making, SSB Revamped, also known as "Project Revamped", is soon to make it's debut. It takes a mixture of popular and hacks from different artists, sometimes with a little additional tweaking, and creates a standard character hack selection that should allow every person to find their favorite flavor, while still maintaining fair game balance!

The included hacks will be listed on the site, along with the character's playstyle, on the roster of characters, found on my site. As there are too many people to actually set as collabs, I don't play to upload it in the BrawlVault. Instead, I plan to include FaceBook "Like" buttons for each hack, linked directly to the same counter as used on this site (hopefully encouraging more people to USE that function).
This way, for characters where one person made a PSA and someone else made all the models I use,
each of them can get their spot in the limelight, rather than just the few top collabs.

These are the approximate completion percentages of the Pre-Release Beta as currently stands.
These %'s may drop if I switch out a character, having to change CSPs and the such.

Menus: 0%
I plan on changing graphics for the menus, but this is about lowest on the priority list.

CSS: 70%
Almost all the CSPs are done, but the costume selection images (forget technical name)
still is missing a LARGE number of previews.

SSS: ?%
Have perhaps 35% of the current SSS's done,
but I may be adding the code to increase amount of levels later.

CBP: 15%
So far only have about 3 characters done,
one of which using same color for all CBPs.

Results Screen: 10%
So far, I believe I've only changed Shadow's.

Announcer Calls: 30%

Character Voices/Sounds: 80%
Most of the current sounds still work for the characters over them.
I'll likely put this at 95% when it's just things I can IMPROVE,
but not NEEDED to be changed.

Victory Themes: 50%

Stage Music: 70%

Stage Music Titles: 60%

I'll do my best to reinstate the credits and characters,
but it might take some time to find some of them again without help.

I'm not too concerned about credits on the .BRSTMs, because all it takes is putting it through a computer and looping it, all of about a 5 minute job at most.
But if it's yours and you want credit, PM me the link as well.

There are a couple videos of it online, but much has changes:
such as I replaced Luigi with Crash, and Hinata with Zero.
There's a roster of many who will be included on my site,
amd I'd like if anyone who takes a look at my roster,
 and sees one without the PSA/Models listed,
to please let me know here or on my site,
so I can give proper credit.

I'm only doing this to create a standard for playing with hacks online,
and take no credit for anything but the coordinating/balancing of included hacks,
save for the handful I'm actually editing movesets (Yoda/Sephiroth).

I've actually been showcasing this many places over the past couple years,
including library gaming events, college gaming groups, comic conventions,
and even 3topia, a gaming bar & grill down here.

I'm hoping to have the beta release SD card files and disk image up for download,
possibly sometime in February, once I have more bugs out, and characters in.

I got an old phone to work again, and my wife recorded me playing the Revamped.
So I decided to upload it for anyone who may be interested in taking a look.

Yeah, it's ShadowKong, and I am already using SMBZ Mario, and I chose Luigi to show his similar moveset: I didn't know the quality would be that bad. XD

Trying to find someone good to put over Fox, Diddy, and a few others, still...

for raccon luigi psa i will maybe make a v2 but deleted the PM with link to recolours to reccon luigi so only one recolour with now so needing the recolours :(
V2 will get better FS and recolours+mode so you can do normal attacks or raccon tail attacks

for goku over cp. falcon problem i will make ported to Pit if Pit is too much buggy it will be metaknight

I think he is pretty good as is...

Only thing I think should be changed, is have him shoot fireballs rather than that crappy Charging headbutt, lol.

you know raccon powerup can´t fire since raccon dont use fire flower :D so why i changed luigi´s side-B to N-B

You should look into getting a cature card so that the previews don't come out so crappy.

Well, I'm kinda unemployed at the moment, so a friend is sending me his old webcam for this.

That's the best I can do until I can start my job when school starts.

I did not plagiarize it if I gave credit for it, which I did.
He then sent a rage PM asking me to change it. Actually, he sent 4 rage PMs and 2 Reports, One after I had already edited it to make him a Collab.

If you saw the PMs and his other posts against me, you would think different of it.

And typing all that in such large print is as much or more against the rules than what I did, considering I did give credit.

Giving "Credit" doesn't sovles the fact you uploaded it without permission. Credit =/= Permission.

Pay attention to a thread before you post please. I was reporting him for multiple violations (which he later fixed) that he had made when he said I did one thing wrong.
If you read, you would have seen the post was edited.

And you really aren't entitled to make a comment about it, considering that 1) it doesn't involve you, and 2) the post you made was not relevant to the subject, so please do NOT make me request to have ALL posts non-related deleted.

A mod shouldn't have to bother wasting time on something like that, considering people should stay ON TOPIC as it says in the rules. Therefor you have no right to point the finger at me, when you just spammed this topic with a comment that does not contribute, and is unrelated to the subject.

I don't like squirrel drivers. Fixed i made more then 2 movesets there is balanced
i made also Goku as much Balanced he can be (even more now then Goku V1 come :D) and shadow over Dk. but that just a post Sdo0m made that moveset and i ported it over DK.

Yeah I really want to use a Goku, but I already have Master Cheif over CF, and can't figure out a good Master Chief or Goku over someone else... that actually works.

And of course, no love for Joe XD  Ya know, a PSA that is actually polished and complete and not outdated.

I'm not a personal fan of V.J. but I know alot of people are.

But there's still a limit to how many people I can please, you know?

The point of this collection is to have both: A variety of characters where everyone can find somebody they like, while still maintaining balance where all characters in the game are equally matched.

In other words, everybody knows that Master Chief could make pikachu eat his ass through his mouth (pardon the language), but point is to have it where a Goku fan could play against a Luigi fan on equal footing.


In other news, I have a some new videos up now, and am now uploading in higher quality, as I've gotten a working Video Capture card.

Sadly, my computer was being dumb in my last uploaded one against Pikachu, so my playing was kinda horrible, I couldn't see half the frames lol.
But since a player can be much better with Pikachu than a CPU (I know one person really good), it helps show balance anyhow.

Just wanted to post an update to this...
Partially because there's a "Project: R" going around, and I wanted to clarify that this is not affiliate with it... and since news has been going around of this to different nerd groups and gaming community as "Project Revamped", I feel like "Project:R" is like trying to take advantage of it. I know many here probably haven't heard of my version, because I've not posted here for a while, but it's been ground around Facebook and Twitter a bit recently.

In other words, I feel it's only fit that they change the name of theirs,
otherwise it's like me naming mine "Project Marvel",
where people confuse it for Project: M, confusing people at the least.

Anyhow, on the project itself, I've started further development of it's section on my web site. I don't intend to upload it to the Brawlvault, for a couple reasons.
First, I can't get permission from everyone involved, either because some hacks are before MegaUpload shut down, I can't get a hold of the artists, or I have butted heads with a couple of the artists and don't talk to them to keep peace.
Second, because there are WAY too many hacks and people list as contributors.
Many of the hacks are good, and there are too many included to narrow down and give credit to just a few people.

Instead, I'm creating a page for each character hack, and listing likes, linked with the BV likes here, so people can like their projects from my site... This keeps it more balanced, and might increase the rate at which people actually USE the "Like" button on hacks.

I intend to still contact the people I can to get permission, but some of them aren't possible, and I want to avoid problems because one of the 20 or more contributors comes on a year from now and throws a fit.

Anyhow, the link to the site is under my banner, same as it's been for a couple years now.
I have some character bios and change lists on it now, and I plan to include more.
Again, point for this project isn't to get credit on this site,
but to create a larger variety of characters and movesets,
that give a standard for playing online with hacks.
