Also I saw your request in the vertex section for the dragon sword, look through Beyond's vertexs for his chrono vertex as the katana he made for him is very similer to the dragon sword. Starting with completely new ideas and movesets. Starting off with my "Twilight Princess Link" PSA. This PSA is replacing some of Link's moves and replacing them with his "Hidden Skills" that he learns in Twilight Princess. Also some animations/attacks/functions will be based off of Twilight Princess. I've already animated a new idle, his Neutral Special, His Spin Attack/Great Spin, and his Dash Attack. His Neutral Special is having a bit of issues with playing the animation in-game but Spin Attack works very well. I haven't touched his dash attack yet. I see yours looks like it's more influenced on Sword, Chain Rod, and Onimusha Blade Warriors. Mine sticks fully to MMZ, like using his various weapons and techniques. Only thing I see between ours is the Forward Smash, Down B, Neutral Air, Down Air, and Forward Air, and of course the Final Smash MUST be that, it's a necessity. But I seriously think that the buster should be triple shot as 1st lvl, then a half charge shot, then a full charge shot at least.. Before, I made a new idle stance. Which all of my new animations were transitioned to and from it. I decided to scrap it and use Link's original Idle animation. But I have already adjusted the new animations to work with Link's original stance. Shield Bash has been changed so that it now functions as 1 animation instead of 3. But it activates alot quicker and provides complete defense to his shield throughout the entire duration of the move. It is also like 30 frames so it functions like a basic attack. It should work overall better. The only animations I have left are: - The roll in back slice. The start of the roll and the rising slash are done. - The Jump Strike. All of it. (however, it's only 4 animations. Two of which are the same with adjusted legs.) I will try and get this released for Christmas. If I'm not too busy. Also there are 3 new characters and 4 movesets added to the OP: - Yuri Lowell (with Moveset) - Master Chief - Veigue Lungberg (with Moveset) - Lloyd Irving (with Moveset) (yes, Again) That's a wrap for this little update. Edit: Oh yeah, for every other vote in the Filler Option for me will postpone the release of my Twilight Link v1. I also updated the OP with the moveset for my current PSA, Kratos Aurion! Both movesets have "STATS" included! Please read the moveset before voting in the poll. Also, I chose those two spells because they're not relative to the ground unlike Kratos' other two elemental intermediate spells... TBH, they both sound hard to code. I have no idea how you would do fatal strikes for option 1, for instance. I don't think you could have the fatal strike GFX on the enemy character(s), so it would have to be on Yuri himself, and this is assuming you can actually get the fatal strike GFX, import or otherwise. Still, they both sound interesting.

Any way, you had interesting ideas but, I didnt really like the psa over all. I loved the side B, you did great with that. But all the other moves are kinda useless. Like the neutral B, no damage and they are right next to you ready to attack, same goes for the down B too, it's just another rolling away move. The up B is okay. But when you put these moves over Links B attacks that is a huge problem. Your taking away moves that make Link, Link. Link needs his arrows, and his bombs. The boomerang can be taken away, but bombs and arrows are a must for link. So here is my idea, place the side B over his side A, Down B over Down A, and bring back Links B moves. Exactly, that's the reason why I made this PSA, to make Link more capable of using his hidden skills. I would add more, but I'm kinda lazy... Also, For the neutral special, I'd was that he'd either be able to reflect, or apply knockback. I wasn't able to get both to work. However, it can still negate projectiles and oncoming attacks, so that's a bonus. But if someone knows how to get both to work, I'd gladly update it to fix that problem. Also, Have you noticed that if you connect Link's shield bash, you have some very early allow interrupt frames. I mean like, they'll still be knocked back while your free to move, it was made for set-ups if used physically. It links well into a side b, dash attack, dacus, or a dash grab. So it's actually pretty useful overall. Also, I know how to make the down special more effective... It's actually very hard to hit with currently, but the slash is actually pretty strong... And for the Up Special, it's honestly not that special, also, because of how I shortened the animation, I couldn't use link's original Spin Attack effects without editing them. And the issue with the Great Spin... Also, who keep on voting for my filler option? Honestly, I put that there so I wouldn't be biased towards the poll... Also, I was getting annoyed at having to switch to see the votes every time because I haven't voted... Anyways, please stop doing it... EDIT: I decided to not follow the poll and make Air Thrust for the down special. WHY did I do it? But before that, I'd like to know from people: Should I make Kratos' animations fit brawl's standards? For example, making Kratos' moves not a direct replication from ToS, but still keeping it's originality. Like how a character kinda takes recoil whenever the use a powerful move or a smash attack. (Like Samus' side smash, or Ganondorf's Warlock Punch.) Or keep it tales styled and keep them still during the execution of the move. Like I said, a poll will be up soon. EDIT: The Poll is up!! Anyways, I've finished animating a jump, falling, landing, his neutral combo, up tilt, side tilt, and his down smash. (i.e. Guardian Field) My moveset in the OP will be altered soon to the new modifications to the moveset. The old down tilt (his generic thrust) is now his forward tilt. His new down tilt will be based off something he does in the OVA. So I still need to make crouching animations (to fit the new down tilt), the down tilt itself, and the Up Smash (i.e. Light Spear Cannon). Then I'll show you guys some previews. I may also possibly animate Demon Fang (ground-ver.) and Light Spear while I'm at it. Just a little notification. BIG EDIT: For those that didn't notice, I uploaded a preview to Kratos' animations in the OP. Also, I plan on fixing that walk... the animations look pretty smooooth and pretty accurate, like his run and basic attack animations. the ones that looked off though was the wait and walk animation. in his wait animation he doesnt squat and bend his knees that much. his current walk looks robotic-E. in symphonia he leaned forward and did those slow steps. his guard needs him to sorta rotate more, he needs to rotate at the waist to the right.. i cant really explain it without a gameplay video the last animation looks like what yer gonna use for his entrance (kinda looks like shining bind). it looks good, the shoulder capes needa be rotated a lil up. also give him some more motion at the waistN and bustN. make as many bones rotate (even if its only a little) in every frame in all animations. seriously though.. its a great start. And about the stance, yeah, i'll fix that up sometime later. And for the entrance, it's actually his kneeling during the scene where you beat him the first time. The part after is actually based on Kratos' overlimit animation in Vesperia. Also, the effects will make the entrance look epic. Also, I adjusted the guard animation so that it is rotated to make it look more like a tales-styled guard. So that's fixed. Animations not in the video that I finished afterwards are light spear cannon, light spear (both air and ground) and demon fang (both air and ground). I'm currently doing a bit of PSA testing for the new effects I got. It's going pretty well so far. I'll be sure to have some in-game pictures once everything goes well. Since I don't know how to make videos from my wii. Maybe a 2-minute replay could work... Also, It's going to require some hexing for kratos' demon fang to work properly. Kratos' progress has come to a stop and Lloyd's progress is going very well. With shadowsnake's new Lloyd v3 import, Lloyds animations are coming out great! Also, with SDoom's animation class, i thought that I'd show a preview of my final assignment, which is due... Saturday. It's still in a bit of a base state, but once finished, should look incredible. The animation is Hunting Beast/Fiery Beast (Or Shikou Shouhajin/Shikou Bakuenjin in JAP) from the original Symphonia. One of the coolest swordsman moves that I think exist. And yeah. I have majority of his basic motions done. (really just runturn brake and runturn are left.) And he has 3 comepletely different walking animations for slow, medium, and fast. Most animations need some tweaks here and there though. As for basic attacks... I have 3 of his 4 neutral combo animations done. And his down tilt is done. I have the looping animation for Rising Falcon done. Also, I've planned for some neat stuff for Lloyd. Like his unison attack will function almost the same as in Symphonia. As in, if available, you can cancel the end-lag of ANY attack into a unison attack or even part way with only a few of them. I plan to have both swords have their own sword trails. Side B- Lightning Ball= Fires a ball of lightning that can be aimed similar to Link's boomerang. Diagonally up, down, or straight. Tilt or smash could affect strength. Up B- Lightning Jump= Takes the magic jump from CC where Electricity bursts out from underneath his feet. Similar height to Sonic's Spring. Stuns nearby enemies. Like a paralyzer. Down B- Lightning Counter= Stops an oncoming attack with a quick but powerful Lightning slash, looks similar to Link's Ftilt. (comes from CC high level combo with magic finish.) ORANGE FLAME B- Fire Coil= Shoots a wave of fire a few feet in front that knocks back enemies. Side B- Fire Ball= Shoot a fireball that explodes like Lucas's PK Fire on impact. Functions like Lightning Ball. Up B- Blast Jump= Blasts out fire underfoot while leaping high up. Spikes enemies if underneath. Down B-Flame Counter= Works similar to the Lightning counter, however has high horizontal Kb. BLUE ICE B- Ice Spear= Calls down a large ice spear that can freeze enemies if it connects. I've decided change the name of this place to something more suitable. And i've fixed up the OP a bit. Nothing big. Well, I plan on going to see if someone can help fix my main computer. (I still haven't done it... But it'll be soon.) So until then, I'm officially claiming Kratos and Lloyd to be on hold until further notice. If you were wondering how far each of them were, progress wise, then here: Kratos - Majority of his basic motions, such as running, dodging, jumping, etc., were done. All neutral attacks and tilts were done, minus the down tilt, including in PSA. All of his Smashes were done. His Neutral Special animation was done, but was having some trouble with the actual projectile shooting. His side special was all complete. And his enterance was done. Lloyd - All of Lloyd's basic motions were done. He had 3 out of 4 animations of his neutral combo done. Two tilts were done; Down and Up. His side smash, unison attack, and side special were started. Fiery Beast was almost done, animation wise, but needed finishing touches. Not much PSA work was done for him. Lloyd had CSP's and recolors done. So, yeah... My current PSA work will be Ryu Hayabusa. I've been playing Ninja Gaiden Black lately, so the moveset, which is now in the OP, is based on that game. (Though I think he plays the same in the other games.) The moveset will be solely on the Dragon Sword. And I may make two versions; one with Shurikens for the neutral special, and one with the Windmill Shuriken. Oh, and he'll be done over Marth. (Because he's got lots of animations, PSA size, porting for others, sword trails, a model changer, an on-model sword [for better animations], etc.) The model over Marth will be taken care of. So don't worry about it. Also, if anyone has any comments towards my movesets, like if something should be changed or maybe for some clarification if my wording wasn't clear. Thanks. I was thinking, most people who know and love Lloyd have most likely had their share of Sword Rain spamming here or there. on that note, i thought, since Sword Rain: Alpha is a throw, it doesn't really work on bosses. Which I thought is quite sad. So, I was thinking about moving a Sword Rain move into his normal moveset, instead of his throws, but I am unsure about where to put it. Deals 8% Up A- Tiger Blade, A leaping upper slash into a down slash to land. 5% each Down A- Fierce Demon Fang, Slams down a blade creating a stationary shockwave that hits 3 times. 4 % each Side Smash AA- Raging Beast, A spinning double slash to turning energy burst. 3% each then 12%. Up to 5% each then 16%. Up Smash A- Twin Tiger Blade, a tiger blade followed by a Heavy Tiger Blade. First does 5% each, heavy does 6% each. Up to 7% each and 9% each. The last hit is done and has Hard spike capablity and can launch people if grounded. Down Smash A- Demonic Circle, A quick slice in front followed by a large circular Fierce demon fang all around. Hits 4 times. 5% each. Charge up to 8% each. Nair- Tempest, a weaker version of Psi tempest that hits only 4 times, 2% each Fair- Vertical Slash, a simple diagonal forward down slash. \ 8% Bair- Twin Back Slice, slashes twice while spinning backwards partially, similar to Ike with 2 swords at once. 8% Uair- Upper Aerial Slice, does a quick slice overhead in a sweeping arch. 11% Dair- Rising Falcon, a downward dive with both swords thrust forward, slides on landing and does a quickly swings both swords outward. 18% and 5% Grab/pummel- use Link or Pit animations F throw- Tempest beast, a quick stationary tempest landing immediately with a beast. 2% each then 12% (2x4+12) Bthrow- Tempest thrust, a quick stationary tempest landing with a Sonic Thrust. (2x4 +8%) Uthrow- Leaping slice, jumps up with a slice. 9% Dthrow- Heavy Tiger Blade, a stronger tiger blade. 2 hits, 2x6% Run Attack- Spinning double cut, spins quickly, cutting all around. 5% each. B- Demon fang, swings a sword to fire a shockwave along the ground. Has no ending lag or knockback. Stuns opponent for very short time. Hits 7 times max, adding up to 14%, can be Daired out of. Down B- Beast, A backwards shoulder barge to spinning energy burst. And for Sword Rain: Alpha, I don't want him to end in the air because it'd then be too strong for a side smash to end in the air so it can chain with an aerial. I thought of Sonic Sword Rain, but I want to keep variety in the moveset, which Sonic Thrust (Used in Sonic Sword Rain's animation) is part of. Also, that was one of the changes, Sword Rain: Alpha was moved to side smash because previously, as a throw, It wouldn't work on any bosses or boss-like characters. So moving it to side smash allows people who've played Symphonia to give them a free feel that Sword Rain: Alpha is available to them. Without having to grab someone. That's my reasoning. I don't just place things arbitrarily. I have a valid and very thought-out reasoning behind all of my decisions. It's not 100% done, but it's pretty much good to show off. And the throws are being kept secret. Specials are shown first because some can influence his other moves. Kabutops over Falco Also, I want to fix up my Hidden Link PSA to be more useful in combat. (Like if people want to actually fight with the PSA against other people) So I'm planning on doing the following changes: I'm thinking either put the Bombs as the down special and move the Backslice to... somewhere... (Side Smash maybe?) I don't like this option because I like the Backslice in general and don't want to move it. But i may have to. OR keep the Backslice as the down special but have bombs be active either via tilt or aerial attack. (Like Down Tilt or Neutral Air.) What do you guys think? EDIT: I'm also gonna change some of Link's attributes to make him a nimble fighter yet still keep his mid-heavy weight status. V0.2 of EternalYoshi's Sora had a really cool Down Special where Sora would parry any incoming attack that didn't have transcendent priority, as well as intangibility frames to block those, too. I don't know how EternalYoshi did it, but no matter how much damage the incoming attack did, Sora's Reflect would ALWAYS clank with it, allowing Sora the opportunity to counter-attack as he saw fit.

I don't want to do that because no other character has a move like that... I like to keep all of my movesets to be kept under the same constraint that vbrawl characters have. Okay, I know that we can modify the movesets as uniquely as we want, but I don't want to grant one character an action that another can't perform. (Specials are a different case.) And yeah, Shield Bash is the FTilt. Parrying attacks? Hmm... It can already deal damage, reflect projectiles, and has very low end lag. And plus, by default, two intercepting collisions will negate each other. I think that'd be too good for an f-tilt. And I'll probably not do a chargeable Jump Strike because what would charging do? The charged version in twilight princess was useful for clearing enemies. There aren't that many enemies to clear. Plus, playing against human players, it's quite predictable to see it coming. Since it works off being fully charged to execute. And for Bombs, I have an idea: Down Tilt will pull out bombs. But if he had an item in his hand, he'll drop the item and pull out the bomb. That way, you can constantly drop bombs by DTilting around the stage. That'd make an interesting fighting mechanic. ^ Potential Mind games. And I just realized that I've been saying "Jump Strike" as "Jump Attack". So whenever I've said "Jump Strike" before, i meant "Jump Attack". New Poll, it's about Link's Bombs. Also, I'm gonna try to make it so that they don't explode on ground impact, but either player impact, it gets attacked or it explodes on it's own. And I'm changing Link's Back throw to be Gale Boomerang. (So it isn't completely removed) Here's how it'll look: Link will throw the held character behind him (with his right hand) which, while throwing backwards, he'll take out his Boomerang and throws it after tossing the held character. The Boomerang will always be Smash Thrown when executed but can still be angled. At lower percentages, because the toss wont be far, the boomerang would come back quicker, and cancel the throw for follow-ups. The Boomerang will also be changed to pull items during both states of the throw. And it'll be a good pull, enough to carry Link's bombs.
