Title: Project Super Alloys (PSA) *Download Links Fixed"
Post by: Codec01 on September 28, 2009, 01:09:01 AM
You think alloys are bunch of weak deformed creatures with weird white circle things attached to their body?
Well, think again. They now got the POWER of PSA.
By the way, why aren't there any icons (smileys) for alloys? *facepalm*

Super Red Alloy

(http://download2.getuploader.com/g/9|sumaburaX/8/al_060702_0342.jpg)

Physics Changes:
1. Increased running & walking speed (he is now way faster than sonic!)
2. Increased Jump Height
3. He can now jump as many times as he want (Set the value to 100. That's enough right?)
4. Increased Weight

Other Changes:
1. Nearly all his attacks' damage rate has been increased (His Side Smash is REALLY strong)
2. Fire effect for most of his attacks (some attacks have different effects such as "impale" for Aerial down A)
3. His moves now have cool FLAMING and EXPLOSIVE graffics (Some of them can actually burn enemies)
4. Added fire effect + graffic effect to Wait1, Run, Walk, Wait Squat etc. (basically the moves that usually do not hurt enemies)
5. Faster Moves + Allow Interrupt

Super Blue Alloy

(http://download1.getuploader.com/g/9|sumaburaX/9/al_060707_0301.jpg)

Physics Changes:
1. Increased running & walking speed
2. Increased Jump Height
3. Increased number of jumps
4. Decreased Weight

Other Changes:
1. Nearly all her attacks' damage rate has been increased
2. Freezing effect for most of her attacks (some attacks have different effects such as "stun" for side A)
3. Her moves now have cool freezing and water splash graffics
4. Faster Moves + Allow Interrupt

Super Yellow Alloy
Unfinished. 65% Complete.

Super Green Alloy
Unfinished. 40% Complete.

To Do List for all alloys:
Give them motions for taunts, guard and ledge grabbing (Is it even possible?)
If you can tell me how to do stuff like that, I would really appreciate.

I'd love to have them in Brawl+, but how do you add them though? I've seen it somewhere before where you could add these, but I didnt quite get it.

And 100 jumps is kind of a lot to anyone xD *hopes it's not going to be overpowered, since this seems to be the only alloy psa*

You have to create a folder called "zakored" (for red alloy) in fighter folder and put the
pac in there.
Also you need to have some codes to play as them without crashing.

Isn't supposed to be Zakoball, Zakoboy, Zakogirl, and Zakochild?

Oops, my bad. Yes you're right.
So it's:
Zakoboy = Red Alloy
Zakogirl = Blue Alloy
Zakochild = Yellow Alloy
Zakoball = Green Alloy

what's the code that makes it so alloy's can be used when they are on a CSS? I can't seem to find it.

You will need "Giga And Company Engine V2", ”Alloys Don't Crash And Others Don't Wreck My Music V2" and "Alloy Victory Poses" code (this one is opptional).

Yow will need Code Manager 1.2. You can download it here: http://wiird.l0nk.org/wp/download

This vid could help you understand how to use it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1T87_BaNFC0&feature=fvw

Or, you could just open the .txt file, and add the code (make sure there is one empty line between each code), then save, close the .txt, and open up whatever codemgr you have, and the codes should be added.

Thanks, these links helped a lot. But i'm not sure how you add the alloy characters

Edit #2: I finally got it to work. I guess I entered the wrong codes. The post I found was actually very useful, maybe including this and the two links I quoted from you earlier on your first thread might help out some people who are sure either.
Here's the link: http://www.smashboards.com/showpost.php?p=6360644&postcount=3238
It's on the bottom of that link.

Ok so i've tested out your PSA, and it's VERY overpowered. I actually didnt play around with it too much because of that. But I do like the effect changes.
Now if only I can figure out how I can make Giga Bowser not indestructable lolz

STOP MAKING PPL FASTER THAN SONIC! speed is the only thing that sonic has! now he wont be special!!!

Title: Re: Project Super Alloys (PSA)
Post by: freezinboi280 on October 02, 2009, 07:01:28 PM
lolz I guess it's all about preference. I actually have a sonic PSA where he runs VERY slow, slower than walking, falling is slow as well unless you press down. Although this is just me saying this, but i've never used sonic, until I found that certain sonic psa. (but then again I dont really got the time for games either atm..) =/

anyways

@Codec01: I think i'm actually going to start using this PSA, as a boss-fight character or something lolz. Adds a bit of some fun if any of my friends want to try boss fights with each other. I'm definately looking forward to the other alloys =]

@DMN
Thanks :)
I just made my blue alloy PSA but I can't upload it for some annoying reasons.
I will try to upload it today or tommorow. Well, as soon as possible.

@Quicksilver
Since Alloys can't shield or grab ledges, I decided to give them more advantages.
If someone can actually be GOD and give them ability to do those stuff,  I will think about
making my alloys neutral.

@freezinboi280
Thanks. My alloy PSAs are kind of "overpowered" so you can challenge yourself by
fighting them in Alloy's cruel battle or something like that. Well, it's up to you.
By the way, I completed my Blue Alloy PSA. As someone has already mentioned, she has
got FREEZING effect and graffics. However, Mediafire hates me so I failed to upload it.
Is there any good place to upload it? Oh, not Megaupload. It's not working for me.

Title: Re: Project Super Alloys (PSA)
Post by: freezinboi280 on October 02, 2009, 09:59:48 PM
other sites that you can try uploading it to are Rapidshare, sendspace, sharebee, or filefactory. i'm not sure why you arent able to upload it to megaupload or mediafire. is it just that computer that's not letting you?

Thanks, I used Rapidshare and it worked fine. I have no idea why other uploaders are
not being nice to me.

Title: Re: Project Super Alloys (PSA) *Blue Alloy Update*
Post by: -=STRAFE on October 03, 2009, 12:55:45 AM
is it possible to make it less jumps...maybe 10 or 8..
and give them super armor? or at least not flinch/receive knockback to most attacks under 'x' amount of %? ex: they would just take damage but no KB from ...say Mario's Jab combo or something like that.

since they dont have specials...perhaps you can make their taunts ( if they can have any ) into attacks .. so 4 / 8 different attacks

Title: Re: Project Super Alloys (PSA) *Blue Alloy Update*
Post by: freezinboi280 on October 06, 2009, 07:01:22 AM
try referring to the link I posted previously on this thread, it might help you. the problem I had before was not having enough icons on the screen for the alloys, and not having the right extra codes needed to play as the alloys. one of the three links should also lead to that page with the right codes, and Codec01 mentioned the few extra codes you needed to play as the Alloys w/o crashing, and there's another post that tells you which folders to put it in as. There's also a youtube tutorial link that lets you know how adding codes work.

just remember that depending on how many characters you already have on your screen, you may want to use "28" (which is a blank space character box) in the correct spots to make it look nice. i'm using brawl+ codes, so I had to add 28's. here's what I did with the "Custom CSS V3" code:

0668310C 00000030
387E006C 3B600000
3C808068 38840DE0
7CBB20AE 7CA50775
41800014 94A30004
3B7B0001 2C1B0032
4180FFE8 48000038
04690338 48000068
066900d8 00000008
2c170028 41820168
02680DE0 0022FFFF
06680DE0 00000032
00090D0C 0515011A
0A071325 1002240E
0F140616 1F170304
0B190823 201B5D5E
5C112118 22122627
4A282828 28282828
28290000 00000000

at the bottom, 4A refers to Red Alloy, which the 28's are Blank spaces, and the 29 is the "Random Character Selection" box. And random is where the character box limit ends, so I just added 00's at the end. I'm too busy at the moment, so I didnt have time to add the Blue Alloy into this code, but all you'd need to do is remove a "28" from the bottom and add the correct code for Blue Alloy, which can be found in one of the links.

I'm not sure if that's what you were confused about though. That's pretty much all you have to do (and if you're confused, then you probably shouldnt be after watching the video and looking through the other links, and trying the Code Manager software yourself)

EDIT: ok it was NOT the problem with the alloys. the captain falcon PSA I downloaded didnt have a properly working Final Smash, appearantly.

great job on the alloys so far =]

hmmmm kind of understand what your saying but at the same time i dont. if youve used the CSS organizer then you would know it uses a text file to determine what characters are where. so i have a modified txt file that works with the brawl+ custom CSS code. so would this code mess up my current CSS? and would  i still need:

"giga and company engine V2"
"alloys dont wreck my music"
"indy poke engine + no wreck my music V2"
"CSS fixes for giga and company V2"
"CSS fixes for samus/ZSS zelda/shiek V2"
"char ID fix 2.1"

if anyone knows what im talking about can you please tell me what codes need to be on/off? or if i need anymore codes? please and thank you

like the idea. really give us a fun challenge as far as brawl goes. and btw the 100 jumps is totally justified considering the lack up ledgegrab, items, or upB.

personally, im gonna alter these. i love what u did with them but i want a challenge that will be enjoyable, not frustrating. therefore, im gonna be tweaking them. red will have great knockback (back to normal alloy speed. keep the increased gravity, 3 jumps.),
blue will have great sheilding and will have freeze effects on one move, and increased percents on the rest (u got close to how i want it.tweak alittle)allow inturupt. 6 jumps
yellow will be super fast, slash on most moves, allow inturupt. wind moves. increase gravity + air mobilization. 100 jumps
green will have earth. 2 jumps, norm alloy jump and gravity. all heavy landings. decrease walk speed. gravel effects on walk. all tilts+smash attacks impale. all air moves spike. change animations. superarmor during attack animations.

there u go. element team. ill be making it to give myself a real fun challenge in stadium. itll be good cuz the color will allow me to predict how to fight each enemy, but facing multipals at once will be hard. ull have to hit green while in the air, throw him, or trick him to his doom. smash yellow, grab or suprise blue before she gets you, and dodge and defeat red.

i wanted to warn u that ill be editing, and also tell u incase u want to steal any of my ideas :)

EDIT: Here are the codes I added to make it work for me:

oh well the CSS orgainzer is a program that phantom wings developed to make a custom CSS. the interface is basically the actual brawl CSS and you drag and move the icons to where ever you like. but ill try these codes and see if it works

yeah I just recently started using CSS Organizer for my 2nd SD Card. and from what I read, alloys are not possible atm with CSS Organizer.

on another note, I cant seem to play Alloys in multiplayer (4 players) without the game freezing and making a loud beep (not always, but most of the time). it doesnt crash my game if I only play with 2 players though.

@freezinboi280
Actually you CAN play alloys in multiplayers but there are some annoying things that you have to keep in mind. Firstly, there are several combinations of normal characters and alloys that make the Wii freezes. If you want to include an alloy/alloys in 4 players, you MUST place one of the alloys in Player 4. Otherwise the game will just freeze. Therefore, you can't have an alloy in 1P-3P if you are playing in 4 players. However, if you are playing in 3 players, you can have an alloy/alloys in any places. It's just the 4 players that is really irritating.

Works
1P NC 2P NC 3P NC 4P Alloy
1P Alloy 2P NC 3P NC
1P NC 2P Alloy 3P NC
1P NC 2P NC 3p Alloy
1P NC 2P Alloy
1P Alloy 2P NC

FREEZES
1P Alloy 2P NC 3P NC 4P NC
1P NC 2P Alloy 3P NC 4P NC
1P NC 2P NC 3P Alloy 4P NC
*NC stands for Normal Character

ohh. i'll have to remember that. i'll try it again when I got time.

EDIT: Is it possible to have custom alloy portraits? I think it'd be helpful if I could just make a portrait that has a reminder on the picture to only use it on player 4 lolz =]

Does this apply to Giga Bowser as well? the whole freezing thing.

I think this is just me but when I use the alloys in regular brawl, while there fighting sometimes they just get frozen in place. They just stand straight with their arms spread out. Does anyone know why?

Are you using the Ganondorf's Sword code? For some odd reasons, this code makes the alloys not function properly.

EDIT: Ok i've talked to the person that made those screenshots, and they were just CSP's that replaced Captain Falcon, Zelda, etc's portraits. So there actually arent Alloy Portraits, or that's what he told me =/
