no not a site, the domain of SFX I decided to randomly do, some might fit, and others funny

anyways, I also cover wii mote SFX and I am one of the only hackers who does chuggaaconroy SFX hacks,

If you have a favorite let's player and wish to have his/her phrases/reactions over your favorite native brawl character, do ask.

I can handle small requests, but I don't do announcers using futuremal's sources

it may take some time, I will get started after thanksgiving weekend

Anyone doing midna SFX hacks to add to my alpha please use ACID
and apply the following effects:

Simple delay
     set BOTH sliders all the way up, and set the quarter measures to 0.060 and the multiple delays to 0.100

clipped peak restoration (this is a safety net to ensure high quality sawnds)

the simple delay effect will replicate how her voice sounds in the twilight relm

yah, and he adds echos, which comes out to double echo when brawl plays it

so any SFX hack I make, won't have the echo preapplied in them
(with exception of midna's twilight relm effect)

and the pitch is weird. when i saw one of his sfx hacked into brawl, it was weird and cut off.

and by any chance, do you think it will be possible to replace sfx's with a code? like the code to replace certain result songs?

there is a conde, but i don't know the code,

the victory themes are in BRSTM format, which i also deal with

, yah, given the brstm (for music or themes) and SFX (for the charcall/character taunt)
is already in the ISO

it's a code that redirects a victory to trigger a specific BRSTM of the user's choice (based on the code's x vales)

well, i have sfx for shadow over dk, but it doesnt work with shaodw, only dk, and alterante voice for sonic. so i guess wav.

and oh, ok. so since there is no code, guess i will use an hour to replace the sfx :P

I'm trying to make a voice hack over Falco, and as you can see by the link I provided, all the work is pretty much done. All I need is to insert the sounds into the spot I wanted, which can be seen via the parentheses...

Sadly, The Wave IDs are what got me to the point of confusion. I can't decide which sound is what. I tried doing 1 to whatever and 0 to whatever. No matter what, it's all the same: Silent Falco.

BUT, as I said, on each sound, is the desired thing it's to replace.

Ex.: "Personally, I prefer the air!" would be replaced by "THAT'S IT! NOW I'M MAD!!"

I will examine the specs of each file, If they high size/frequency is to blame, I will modify them and send them back to you (because that is what usually causes silence (even though smashbox plays it))

(at least provide the quotes/sound names - and i can try to guess where you want them)

The Sounds that are in the .rar package are pretty much appropriately-named, but since you asked...

BAM! = BAM! (Replaces Attack Noises)

Heh-HA! = Heh-Ha! (Replaces OTHER Attack Noises)

Jerk... = Jerk... (Replaces "Hands Off My Prey/Bread!")

Jump Grunt = EeeeRUGH! (Replaces "FIRE!!")

Mess With This Bird = Mess With This Bird, Huh? (Replaces "Don't Try Me!")

Molting = JUST FORGET IT! Look at this! LOOK AT THIS! I'm so ticked off that I'm MOLTING! (Replaces "You Ain't Worth The Trouble!")

More Where That Came From = AND I GOT MORE WHERE THAT CAME FROM!! (Replaces the "HA!" in Win2)

Not-Surprise = I think I'm gonna have a heart-attack and DIE from Not-Surprise... (Replaces "Had Enough Already?")

NOW I'M MAD! = THAT'S IT! NOW I'M MAD!! (Replaces "Personally, I prefer the AIR!")

LOL ironic, that I was just about to start on it...

anyway, I also know of a way to use smashbox (which doesn't play sounds on 64-bit) if the user is on windows 7 (pro, ultimate, or enterprise) 64-bit

do you have pro/ultimate/ or enterprise edition? (because the seamless version only works on that)

(download the following runtime:

Net frameworks (1.0 through 3.5)

Install virtual PC (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/download.aspx)

then XP mode

install the virtual machine first, 

then install windows XP mode

run it, then go to: ("C on (your computer name)">users>(your login name)>(then the place you saved the net framework downloads))

and install all of them, rebooting windows XP mode  when installers ask

once those are all done, install subsequent versions of net framework (so smashbox can boot using them)

reboot the virtual machine

now, windows 7 ONLY boots with the machine closed, applications that have been "installed" and have a listing in the installed programs so smashbox needs to be "installed"  run this installer (in the virtual machine OS) I made to trick windows 7 into thinking we installed it (http://www.mediafire.com/?wfm5pg09ksvvg74)

now test in the virtual machine if smashbox boots without error

if this passes, "turn off" the virtual machine and go (in windows 7) to:

start>all programs>windows virtual PC>Windows XP mode applications>Smashbox>Smashbox.exe (create a shortcut to this where you please)


when you do that, smashbox will run under windows XP 32-bit in it's own window and tab in windows 7 (you can now use the program like you would normally)


(keep in mind, in the settings in virtual PC, turn OFF the network tethering/sharing so internet-based exploits(viruses) cannot attack the computer using xp mode as the loophole gateway (only the application you run will have any interaction with the computer)

go to windows anytime upgrade, it should tell you, if you are not any of the listed, you can upgrade to one of them without messing up *any* of your files and preferences
I made sure I got my hands on the pro upgrade kit when I got my new laptop (which all of them in the store were 64-bit)

ok then, you can still do this, the ONLY barrier is that you will need to have a flash drive designated to be your flip-flopping tether to move files between the virtual machine and windows 7

EDIT: If possible could you use the Scott Drier knuckles sfx in the vault? i just dont want hex packets, they suck

I am not able to take requests at this time, also I only support announcer calls right now
