Title: Project Pokemon Post by: SonicBrawler on December 24, 2011, 11:16:57 AM Ok, so , some of you have seen my new hack of the 3 pokemon from PT over Ganon, right?
If you havent, here it is: http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=24338 Well, Im going to be replacing there Down-B and FS. KJP is probably going to be PSAing it. Planned Changes: Squirtle: Down-B-Aqua Ring. Once used, squirtle heals 1% a second while standing (or crouching, which eve ris easier to psa). Goes away once he dies Ivysaur: Down-B- Sleep Powder. Anyone around him goes to sleep. Charizard: Down-B- Fire Spin. Charizard looks down and shoots a circle of flames that attacks all around him. does very small damage. pushes the enemy's away and stuns them. ment for defense. Final smash for them all: ??? Animator: SonicBrawler PSAer: AGFanProduction Title: Re: Project Pokemon Post by: DoctorFlux(Mariodk) on December 24, 2011, 12:24:54 PM awesome idea :D i will love to help but im busy with my other projects
Title: Re: Project Pokemon Post by: SonicBrawler on December 24, 2011, 12:32:57 PM lol all i need is a psa person right now. :P
also, i changed the move set idea Title: Re: Project Pokemon Post by: SiLeNtDo0m on December 24, 2011, 12:46:44 PM Individual Final Smashes isn't possible. Individual Down Bs is though.
As for the ideas, Squirtle's is alright but Ivy's and Charizard's are kinda lame. Safeguard is a move Ivy learns only via TM, and it's not even a move one would think of giving it. Why have that when you could have a powder move, Synthesis or even something like Energy Ball. As for Charizard, Scary Face is something it learns as a Charmeleon I believe sure, and it could possibly work. But Charizard again has some more interesting moves (Charizard in Brawl actually doesn't have many proper Fire type attacks so something like Fire Spin or Flare Blitz would be pretty cool). I do like the idea behind this though Title: Re: Project Pokemon Post by: DoctorFlux(Mariodk) on December 24, 2011, 12:49:05 PM maybe solar beam as FS for Ivysaur that can maybe work or as Down-B(ofc weak and that stuff not FS like if Down-B) ?
Title: Re: Project Pokemon Post by: SonicBrawler on December 24, 2011, 12:49:21 PM oh. so now i have to think of a new final smash. lol. anyway, i went to serebii and it says charizard can also learn Scaryface. i was thinkign fire spin, but i thought he alreayd had it lol. and for ivysaur, i suppose sleep poweder since that cant be his fs.
Title: Re: Project Pokemon Post by: SouthCraft on December 24, 2011, 12:53:03 PM If i could i would help PSA ing but i already have 2 projects progress.
Title: Re: Project Pokemon Post by: Royal_Blade on December 24, 2011, 01:13:23 PM Sleep Powder is good for Ivysaur, I was going to suggest that or Poison Powder. (Both of which would be very useful)
Incinerate could be interesting. Anyone hit by it loses their held item or could just destroy items that it'd come in contact with. That'd be funny. Title: Re: Project Pokemon Post by: SonicBrawler on December 24, 2011, 01:14:25 PM im havig trouble thinking of a fs :/
Title: Re: Project Pokemon Post by: xZedkiel on December 25, 2011, 02:21:09 AM What about if you could make it stay the current model instead of switching to the model with the three pokemon in the triple finish position(that sounds do wrong lol) and keep the final smash attacks they have but make them more powerful, so Ivy fires Solar Beam, Chari fires Fire Blast, and Squirtle fires Hydro Pump?
Title: Re: Project Pokemon Post by: Royal_Blade on December 25, 2011, 11:44:55 AM The thing about that Zed is that their final smash has only one model. Which contains all 3 pokemon. So... yeah.
Maybe SDoom knows something through P:M on how to do so if they've done it or can even tell us. And SonicBrawler, are you only changing the specials or some of the attacks as well? Title: Re: Project Pokemon Post by: SiLeNtDo0m on December 25, 2011, 11:48:49 AM We haven't done any editing of any Final Smashes yet...
Title: Re: Project Pokemon Post by: SonicBrawler on December 25, 2011, 04:17:24 PM im onyl chaning down-b. the only problem, is that it will effect regular pkmn trainer's pkmn :/

That's why I said, make the Final Smash not call up the model, only the GFX for the move that each pokemon does.Maybe SDoom knows something through P:M on how to do so if they've done it or can even tell us. And SonicBrawler, are you only changing the specials or some of the attacks as well? And if possible, move the switching to a taunt input like SDo0m's Cloud's pineapple. So if you taunt let's say up then quickly taunt down, he switches pokemon. Title: Re: Project Pokemon Post by: Gaia on December 26, 2011, 04:44:47 PM The three pokemon over Ganondorf is a really cool idea. I didn't know it was even possible to have multiple characters on one like that. In all honesty, that's what I originally thought the clone engine was supposed to be. There might be alot of potential for having a ton of different characters in the game if you can put the pokemon over multiple character slots. Unless it has to be ganondorf due to compatibility issues.
Quick question: Is it possible to take the pokemon trainer and port it over to other characters? Let's say have the pokemon trainer over marth, DK, and other characters, then use different pokemon PSA's in each one? It would be fairly cool to have the pokemon trainer as he normally is but then be able to have pokemon trainers on other characters using different pokemon. For example, Tyranitar, Feraligator, and Jynx, each with their own psa's on one of them and completely different pokemon on another. There could be a ton of potential in this for a complete pokemon roster. It's possible to put them on the characters, but they all would still share the same folder.Quick question: Is it possible to take the pokemon trainer and port it over to other characters? Title: Re: Project Pokemon Post by: Gaia on December 26, 2011, 09:09:39 PM A good theory in writing but kinda impractical in the end. Might not be an obstacle worth tackling. Maybe that's something that could be approached later on down the line. I'm just shocked at how far the hacking has come so I have no place being picky. Keep up the great work guys.
I'm looking forward to seeing how this project progresses. It's a really novel idea getting all the pokemon to appear on separate costume slots. Here's an idea for Charizard: down-B: Fireblast. Press down-B twice to charge a fireblast. Press it a third time to fire. He breaths out a large ball of flame but is slow releasing it. Easy to dodge but it explodes upon contact with a large blast radius. It deals 30% damage with the initial hit and 18% damage to anyone within the blast zone. Leaves Charizard out of breath for a second. |
