EDIT: Now has rigged fingers, fixed elbow and knee joints, and expressions! Still need dem weapons though.

Don't worry Ikuto, Saber will be over Marth and will probably the next import.

What do you think about Dark Saber over Ike? Dark Saber is stronger but is slower so I think Ike would work for her.

I believe Saber Lily would do best over Marth due to her much more elegant appearance. As for Dark Saber over Ike, that is a perfect fit just due to the sheer force Ike has and the power Dark Saber's armed with; Fits her stature quite well.

I think Saber and Saber Lily over Marth would be perfect. Same for Dark Saber over Ike.
And for some reason I think Shirou would do good over Link, replacing the boomerang for a flying sword. He also summons a bow, right? It makes it better.

Thank you for your suggestions. 

Because Saber Lily is just an alt color for Saber in Unlimited Codes, she will probably just be an alt color for Saber in brawl.

Shirou over Link seems fine, although he would only wield 1 sword (Caliburn) instead of the twin swords like Archer.  Any ideas for changes to bombs though?  It would be weird if he pulled a bomb out of nowhere. :o

I'm currently working on CSP for Rin and Archer as well as alt colors for Rin, so expect the update shortly.

Some feedback on Rin:
The skirt is not rigged to the bust or waist so it looks kind of weird when bending.
Rin's hair could be rigged to Zelda's individual hairbones to make it a little more realistic.
Skirt should have some influence of leg bones so leg doesn't go through it.
It doesn't have any expressions, but I can teach you how to do those.
Skirt is transparent from the inside, to fix that:
1. Go to the Materials folder
2. Find where it says Cull_Inside
3. Click it and change to Cull_None

It's very good though, I'm impressed! It was hard to find these little complaints!

I think Berserker fits very well over Ganon, because the size of both characters. In the case of Berserker's Sword, it could be a PSA or not?.

Well, both Berseker and Ganondorf are "power beasts" for me... As well as Ike.
In my case, I don't use PSAs, but for me it's ok.
By the way, I've changed my mind about what I said about Shirou-Link... Shiro would actually be better over Pit   :laugh:

Small Update:

Rin's Alternate Colors have been added.  Check her V2 link for them.

Dark Saber is currently being rigged, however I have run into a huge problem.  Don't believe me?  See for yourself:

As you can see the textures are extremely messed up for some reason, even though it looks perfectly fine in brawlbox.  Until I figure out what the problem is, Dark Saber will progress very slowly.  If anyone knows a solution to this problem, feel free to let me know.

I'd love to help, but other than suggestions the only real thing I can do is audio stuff, and even then it's limited to music & F/sn sound effects, and for Brawl mods I can only make custom BRSTMs.

I could!...but I currently don't have the OST for that yet.  Besides, I think it'd be good for me to finally complete the visual novel's and Realta Nua's OSTs first.  (I've been sitting on it for a least two years now)

And now for the bad part...

Shouldn't Alter be rigged on Ike and normal Saber on Marth?  In particular, Alter would follow the typical "stronger yet slower" aspect of most evil variations, like how she is in Unlimited Codes. EDIT: Apparently this is already being done.  Nevermind then!


Secondly, I believe the size-mod for Archer is borked.  The screenshot below shows the size-mod version next to the normal version.  As you can see, they look exactly the same - to the point that I don't even remember which one is which:

Thirdly and least importantly, Rider rigged over Sheik NEEDS to happen. :P Caster also would be a perfect fit for Zelda (even has pointy ears!), but I'm guessing that's lower priority since Rin's already rigged on Zelda.  Assassin (non-true) would also be nearly a perfect fit for Marth, and I think Kotomine fits very well with Captain Falcon's fast-yet-not-fast-but-powerful attack style.

Other characters that could work well are Lancer on Marth, Gilgamesh on Ike, Berserker on Ganondorf, Kotomine on Captain Falcon, Kuzuki on Captain Falson, Shirou on Link (since Archer's on Pit), Sakura & Dark Sakura on Zelda, Bazette on Sheik, and... I think that's it in terms of what may actually work.

I discovered TheBen has completed a Saber and Rider model import from F/uc, but I believe he hasn't posted them because it'd be double-posting for him.  Therefore I'm making this post so that it won't be.


EDIT: :o I just realized that TheBen has WAY MORE than just Saber and Rider - He's got Gilgamesh, Berserker, Lancer, Caster, and Assassin as well!  Bloody nora man, bloody nora!

Even crazier is that his models have like 200 some downloads each! What the crap mate, I thought Fate/stay night was obscure? :P

I've been kind of wondering myself whether it's alive, but I cannot bump the topic since I was the last person that posted.  Even more disappointing it that it seems TheBen has discontinued working on his F/uc imports in favor of allowing Runefactory to do his, but alas Runefactory so far is kind of missing in action.

Really? I was too. Except mine was more of a partial moveset, since many (not all) of Pit's moves seem to fit Archer rather well, IMO. I was just going to give him a few levels of Unlimited Blade Works attacks and a couple of arrow edits to make him more like the real thing. I was basing my ideas off of this:

Cool ideas for Archer. I'd offer to help, but I still have a couple of other projects I need to work on, especially GSS. Progress is slow because of other things I'm working on outside of Brawl. I look forward to seeing it once it's done.

My ideas were just to have a few of Archer's most memorable attacks from the video I sent mapped to the down B, replacing Pit's shield. They'd be charged by a taunt that would hopefully say a line from his long Blade Works spell, and reset once the attack was used. The attacks were throwing blades, throwing exploding blades, a jump attack and maybe an enhanced weapon state. Cool ideas for Archer. I'd offer to help, but I still have a couple of other projects I need to work on, especially GSS. Progress is slow because of other things I'm working on outside of Brawl. I look forward to seeing it once it's done.

My ideas were just to have a few of Archer's most memorable attacks from the video I sent mapped to the down B, replacing Pit's shield. They'd be charged by a taunt that would hopefully say a line from his long Blade Works spell, and reset once the attack was used. The attacks were throwing blades, throwing exploding blades, a jump attack and maybe an enhanced weapon state. Yea, I know for GSS...I have a friend who's working on a stage that will look like Unlimited Blade Works (the shirou's one, 'cuz for the Archer's one, I asked someone else if he could find the model in Fate/Unlimited Codes)
Well, if I was better at animatig, it wouldn't take so much time... That's why I'm doing Time Alter ZSS first...

Anyway, I'm working on a moveset for Archer, if it can interest someone here, or somewhere else...

Excuse me for my bad english, by "moveset" u mean animation for character? If yes, did u export it from game or making it by yourself?

I can only wish u luck. I just asked you because wanna know some info about export animation from UC, but it seems impossible =(
So one another question - what soft did u use for making animation? I tried to use Rider model + Biped skeleton in 3ds max, but my low skill make her like a wood dummy.

Honestly... I'm pretty bad at animating myself. Though people tend to use Maya to animate for Brawl... I don't know if it could work for DOTA, since it's another game and all, but that's all I can tell you. There's a tutorial in the A/A Section that shows you how to animate with Maya. You should go there and have a look.
