ok everyone i wanna start helping in the hacking world by making Texture and moveset Hacks, but im not too good with advanced software and so my question is,


Is brawlbox hard to use?

if not where can i find the most advanced version?

i would love to start Hacking

BrawlBox isn't that hard to use, it doesn't require knowing tons of computer language or anything. It's highly visual.  The only place I can think of that's complicated is the animation editor, but you get used to it fast so no worries

ok, ive downloaded it....now how can i start changing movesets (probably getting in WAY over my head)

BrawlBox doesn't edit movesets.

Only Project Smash Attacks does that (download to that program is in the attack hacks board).

Model swap, animation hack, helps you see and edit textures , shows you character animations,Brstm creator, the list goes on

The newest BrawlBox feature right now is the CLR0 editor.  However, each version of BrawlBox has its fair share of glitches and bugs.

Which reminds me.

0.62b does not decompress your .pcs files when you choose to save it as a .pac. You'll have to save as a .pair if you want your .pac file created right. It also has it's bugs with animations.

nyaaa im a noob too , i just downloaded it and extracted the folder, what do i do now ? i mean i openedd it but nothings really there :o can someone teach me how to use it please ?

Is there a way to get older versions? Un trying to do the Final Shdow hack but it wont let me open the files :(
