Title: Moblin's CSS stuff - I'll be back
Post by: Moblin on January 07, 2013, 08:53:04 AM
Welcome. (Renders are outdated; I will update them when I can!)

Masked Man

Gallery (http://s1323.beta.photobucket.com/user/Moblinn/library/Claus2/Claus3)

I uploaded a rar file that includes the six CSPs, BSPs, and an ABP .brres file with all six slot replaced here. (link updated) (http://www.mediafire.com/?2imzv9m68j0zztn)

Use the following code to swap the red team colour to a different slot:

Swap Ness' Default and Fuel Shirt Colors

09000005 02040302

BPs here (http://s1323.beta.photobucket.com/user/Moblinn/library/Foxbpsupdate)

Previews
Nothing, currently. I no longer have a working computer. I'll be back eventually.

Looks nice, I like the pose.

Great job!  I use these now, for a very polished CSS : D

Thanks! I'm glad to hear that you both like them.

A little update: I had to migrate computers and I lost all of the files for this specific pose. However, I'm currently working on a new one since I'm not entirely satisfied with the current pose.

I'll post a preview tomorrow I guess.

I say they are adorable.

I love it, personally! It's super slick-looking. Reminds me of SJS's CSPs because of how smooth and refined it looks.
Can't wait for the new pose.

Thanks. I don't know if it's just the TV I play on, but the CSPs and ABPs look incredibly sharp ingame.

I'm actually working on the pose right now. Only thing to do is perfect the lighting and angle, then he should be ready for release. Regardless, my avatar is now the new pose, unless people want some adjustments made.

Thanks.

here (http://www.mediafire.com/?2imzv9m68j0zztn) is the new download link for the new pose. It's the same format as the old pack.

Let me know what you think! I appreciate all input.

Judging from your avatar, do you use Photoshop or anything to improve them?

No, not really. Just lighting and rendering tricks.

Wow :O That looks good. Though I would make the scouter a little transparent. Is this pose only for Melee Fox? And was this made from BrawlBox or something else?

I didn't even realize the scouter was transparent lol. Noted, thanks

I'm not too sure right now, we will see. I use a combination of BB, 3DS Max and Photoshop.

Interesting... :>.>:

You remind me of another CSP maker named Dr.   Funny thing his CSPs are almost as smooth and polished as yours.

I shall be watching this thread... ;D

Interesting? How so?

I actually just checked out this Dr.'s thread. Turns out I use some of his CSPs... I always wondered who actually made the FE:Awakening Marth CSPs haha. He's got some good technique with his poses though, for sure.

Another preview, black fox because why not. Probs gonna release soon. You can't see the white outline in-game, fyi.

Using 3DS Max to make CSPs. I only made mine with BB. :<

Are you using the older DS22 Melee Fox or the new ones by Apples?

Dude, your work is pretty darn impressive, I must say. Wish I could get results like that.

The new skins by Apples. As long as the models are same I can do both packs, if requested I suppose. I also plan to do all of Apples' standalone MFox skins. Wish he would have just uploaded a full pack, haha

Yeah, eventually. I'm focusing on the ideas I currently have, though.

Here, let me know how they look in-game. I haven't tested them myself yet, but I don't see why they wouldn't work.

I think you rock, that's what I think of it. It's pretty darn close the original, minus some lighting things. I'm very, very impressed.

Title: Re: Moblin's CSS stuff - MFox 1st Release
Post by: Moblin on February 03, 2013, 10:50:49 PM
Yeah the lighting is terrible right no, haha. It was a quick test to see how far my current methods go against the default renders... There's clearly quite a bit missing.

Hey Shun, while you're in this thread you could you Shun-One-HUDify those Fox BP's?

Title: Re: Moblin's CSS stuff - MFox 1st Release
Post by: Shun_One on February 04, 2013, 09:20:36 PM
I suppose I will...Moblin, hope you don't mind! I've adapted your Fox pose into my custom HUD's BP format. I'll link back to you whenever I post 'em, since you made pretty much all of it.

Not a problem at all, man.

Updated my BPs, fixed some white stuff. Should look much better now.

Also nice work on Luigi. I kinda prefer yours to the official render.

Not anytime soon, no. Sorry.

My internet was cut off for the last few days. Here's what I did during the downtime:

I think the tail should be bent a bit more upward though

This ^

And now that I look at it again, it looks like Ganondorf's wait pose.

Thanks.

I'll bring the angle up a bit, I suppose to somewhat match his Melee tail arc.

I suppose you can say it was inspiration? lol

Hm... Maybe to make it look less like Ganon's wait.

You could raise up his left arm (the one up in front) up a bit, and put some dark energy in it, and have him look up at it... IF possible. Might be a bit cliche, but it would look kinda cool.

I've decided to put Mewtwo on hiatus until I can work out some importing issues. Sorry about that.

Meanwhile, I'm working on default Falco right now. There are a lot of cool reskins on the Vault that I'd like to use.

WIP.

If only I could request some Falco hacks (which are model imports)......

Title: Re: Moblin's CSS stuff
Post by: Moblin on February 20, 2013, 04:20:08 AM
For now I'll just be taking reskin requests. I'll open up import requests when I actually learn to do them effectively lol. Sorry to disappoint.

Well whenevr I'm working with BB, I open up a FitMotion, select an animation, pose the model, then save that animation. Then I just open up the character then FitMotion then to that animation frame. Not sure how that would work in 3DS Max though...

Anyways, some Falco textures.

This is how I do it as well, however whenever I try to copy the frame to the base model, I have to rotate every single bone ever so slightly for the changes to actually take effect. I'm not sure if that's just BB or my computer though.

Yeah, I'll take requests. Only reskins, though!

Awesome. I only have Falco re-skins at this point anyway.

Red Falco (https://www.dropbox.com/s/g6kc4hx8r6dgu79/Red%20Falco.zip)
That one is unreleased. I'm not really sure why I never put it out now that I think about it...

I have another one, but I haven't actually made it yet. It should be done by tonight though.

Green Falco (https://www.dropbox.com/s/6gbykmrus2566rx/Green%20Team.zip)
Dark and light jacket. I couldn't decide which I wanted more, so I'll switch off with both!

Every time I play Brawl I just can't get over how beautiful your poses and art look, Moblin.

EDIT: Oh... Wow... Just noticed I bumped this. But whatever.
EDITEDIT: Woah! Very nice job on the portraits you did for Apples!

EDITEDIT: Woah! Very nice job on the portraits you did for Apples!

Yeah, those were fun to make. Unfortunately, the Ganon import used for the base is pretty sketchy (pretty sure it's the older import, by KTH) so it was quite hard to pose without looking screwed up. Did the best I could, I guess lol

Sorry for not posting anything recently, btw. I lost my first wii to a completely busted disc drive, which I had to pry my SSBB copy from, and my second wii was  recently lent to somebody... So, I just don't feel like making anything until I can actually efficiently test it. On top of this, real life (sigh) just gets in the way, yknow?

Title: Re: Moblin's CSS stuff

That's totally fine, Moblin. I know the feeling. Not in CSP making of course but life in general. Life gets tough and then I feel like quitting. Which isn't very healthy...
Busted disc drives bite! Mine's been dying and now it only reads gamecube discs. Thankfully I already had my Wii discs backed up onto a hard drive that I use... I really gotta find a newer Wii that still played GCN games.
Any way we can help you? Or maybe just me? I don't know how everyone would feel about me volunteering them. Though, that said, I don't even know how I'd help.
Anyway, I'm glad to see you at least checked the thread! I know some people that start a project and when things come up they forget about it and never return.
Erm. I feel like I said too much...
