Title: Reaver Ind. [Model Imports & Exports Emporium]Dragon Quest and Princess Crown
Post by: Reaver Ind. on July 31, 2013, 06:13:19 PM
After months of toiling over importing guides,I was finally able to find one that I was able to use and now ready to start on almost every single import I begged and pleaded from members here.  There's not alot, mainly because I forgot what I asked for and partly that I download to many models to actually start skin wrapping them. :srs:

I still do SFX hacks, I just wanted to change things up before I ended up completely bored with brawl hack'n all together and moved towards Skyrim modding.

I don't know what else to say now....  So here are my latest stuff uploaded and or pending.

Ahh, you're doing the rest of Bagjac's STF stuff?

Aww yeah! Do good job for me, ok? Those guys are like family to me.

Glad to see you doing stuff, Kyu.

Thanks, it sure took long enough but I think I got the hang of this.  I decided to add another WIP in the first post and I also need to know if you were going to continue Nack/Fang The Weasel /Sniper any time soon.  I was thinking off placing him over Fox, but I don't have a complete revolver/pop gun model to really finish him...

Ahh, nah.

I didn't really have plans for anybody besides Rocket Metal and Bark, and Bark's taken care of already.

Feel free!

Alright, I'll get him finished soon then.  I also need to ask that if everyone is okay with the modern eye colors?  I may go ahead and add additional files that consists of the original eyes and a classic yellow eye final smash thing.  Yeah, I'll go ahead and do that.

Expect Ray and Bark to be updated shortly.

Hey, I'm going to be busy with every Sonic Championship character and probably objects, and because a lot of the characters didn't come with their weapons, I'll be in this spot for a while.  If you want her then I'll gladly give the 3D model to you.  Right now I'm working on this for Fang:

It might not be the actual model, but this is a good place holder until then.  He's pretty much finished anyway so all that's really left is upload him.

Here is the NMH Naomi file:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/614jey1d0n3vpzf/NMH_Naomi.rar (http://www.mediafire.com/download/614jey1d0n3vpzf/NMH_Naomi.rar)

I'm still debating on who Mighty and Espio will go over, Vector will be over Bowser to be with his modern counterpart.

Edit: I'm probably going to place them over Sonic, unless anyone else can think of a character.

And before I forget:

These two are done!  Espio is also, the sonic rig anyway, I kind of wanted him over sheik though....  oh well, I can knock Naomi and Espio off the list now.

Edit: Mighty and Espio over Sonic is complete, now its time for the other two and maybe Knuckles after them.  So now here is a picture perfect pose of the newest ones:

I also see the deformation in Mighty's foot, I didn't really catch that when I posed him, its not that noticeable in game and its just a minor draw back from with these models. :srs:

And I realized that Espio is posed in the opposite direction and is using the wrong arms, whatever.... *facepalm*

If anybody can still think of a good character to port Mighty over, I'll still do it.

Oh god. That model of Mighty he's really cute. Where did you find this one?

Title: Re: Reaver Industry [Model Import & Export goods Emporium] Are You Brave?
Post by: Reaver Ind. on August 02, 2013, 10:48:30 AM
Bagjac made a whole collection of Sonic The Fighters models...  or ripped them, I really don't know.  But Mighty, Vector, Charmy, and Ray was for a fact NOT in that game, though there was no reason why they weren't.

I mean, 3 more chaos emeralds to the eight you get in the game isn't going to hurt anybody, it was already inaccurate, plus the colors of the emeralds....

All these models where made either for that Sonic Robo Blast 2 fangame or the Blitz Sonic fan game engine thing, probably both...

Once I get the pictures, Sonic will finally get uploaded, At least before I get to the Custom Shadow.

Edit:@SplitPersonalities

I'll consider it,  that actually sounds good for Charmy, well to me anyway.  I might get away with having the chaotix crew either being placed over toon link and link, just so they can have rings as weapons. :)

Bagjac totally made them for Blitzsonic.

Ah, well that settles it then.  And because I feel like it, I took someone's request since I thought it would be funny to have.

Thanks Waxination

I'll have to straighten his fingers out a little bit so they can match up with the bones.

Edit: Sonic is uploaded.  Now I'm totally going to go and take a break and get some food stuffs for my dump truck! :notimp:

Well the purple hedgehog's name is Pana Der hejhog or something.  That was already rigged by Spex130, so I don't think I need to touch him, unless I were to port him over sonic.  The other models, I don't really have plans for those right now.  Most of my attention is on importing the Sonic the Fighters models right now.

But I can't do a lot right now since I'm at the super market with my parents and one of my older siblings, so maybe when I get back but Joe Musashi would have higher priority than the other custom models.

Edit: I originally planned for Vector to over Bowser with his modern counterpart that Nanobuds released, but then I decided to probably port him over C.Falcon to give him that skill that would resemble his Knuckles Chaotix ability.  Super Sonic [STF] transformation is almost complete.

Title: Re: Reaver Industry [Model Import & Export goods Emporium] Are You Brave?
Post by: Reaver Ind. on August 05, 2013, 02:31:20 PM
I still don't have the Super Sonic all put together, but in the mean time I'll soon two versions of Vector.  One will be for Bowser to go along side Nanobuds modern Vector, and the second one is an import over C.Falcon to give him that weird air move from Knuckles chaotix.

One thing I might add is that the hands are a pain in the ass and I loath them to the deepest part of my being (under my feet maybe?).  With that being said, expect some slight deformation with the hands on Bowser.  And to give credit where credit is due, the hands are from Nanobuds modern Vector import and of course Bagjac's custom [STF] Vector.

Here are the demo pictures till I can get the stuff for the Vault:

Edit: Updated the list of WIPs with the rest of the [STF] models that I can use for import goods.

Nice for your beginning on the model import.

Title: Re: Reaver Industry [Model Import & Export goods Emporium] I need Tails HELP!
Post by: Reaver Ind. on August 06, 2013, 12:28:27 PM
Thanks KTH :), It wasn't easy and its still not even with the skin wrap method.  Once I finish off these characters, I'll probably step away from Sonic for a while and get Morshu and Joe Musashi worked on so that I can get more human rigging practice in and properly rig hands.  Once after that, I'll hopefully get my hands on Starman from Earthbound for Samus. :)

While on topic....

For the most part, Super Sonic is complete, You can choose from having a regular character replacement or to have it as a transformation.  The classic style has the regular eyes and the other file will have the modern eyes as always, only that I didn't go with the the green eyes but instead the red.  I'll include the green eyes  .png file with the download, but I'm going to keep it red.

Only one of these picuters will be used on the first post...

Tails is getting some progress done and he will hopefully be compatible with the MetaKnight Tails PSA and a standard Sonic replacement is to be planned.

Metal Sonic will be placed over wolf, but there is a black triangle on his head and that will need to be fixed.  The reason for that is that he didn't come with his own texture, I had to use Rocket Metal Sonic's texture to get most of everything I needed, everything else would need some sort of overhaul.

EDIT: Well Tails ended up failing to be placed over MetaKnight, its a shame, so I might end up porting Tails over a different character since Meta won't work.  Progress came a crashing halt, I need some ideas

ToonLink
Ness
Pit
Mario
Luigi
Falco
Link

I'm going to hate to lose out on the moveset, but I have no idea how to get him working over the MetaKnight PSA, so I'll need to import him over someone else.

Title: Re: Reaver Industry [Model Import & Export goods Emporium] Double Trouble!
Post by: Reaver Ind. on August 09, 2013, 12:50:28 PM
Well Tails over MetaKnight will have to wait unless I decided to make a standard Sonic import or place him over Ness.

Super Sonic and Amy will be uploaded next once I get screenshots of Amy from in game, until then I'll give you this for now:

I had to make a custom Piko Piko Hammer for her since her weapon wasn't ripped nor did I find anything similar to her classic hammer, so like Fang, I had to do some extra stuff for her.  I hope you'll like it. :)

Well like most of the STF models, their Uv's are just terrible and worst of all, Metal Sonic didn't come with his own textures but using Rocket Metal Sonic's textures.  This wouldn't really be a problem since they actually share alot of the same textures and it'll look great when applied, but then the problem hits with textures loading  onto different areas of the body.

To bypass some of the errors, I deleted some things, reapplied textures and then imported as a single object back in.  But I can't do that with the head.  There is this one spot that remains black and this is also connected to the black space between the eyes.  And its all in that one little red dot in the UV section on the Right.

Its definitely noticeable, and its annoying as hell, but I don't know how to get pass this problem of Metal's head.  I'll move on to either Charmy or Rocket but regular Metal will have to join Tails. :(

small edit: I forgot about Knuckles, so I added him at the top of the WIP section.

*IMPORTANT*

This has been bothering me for the longest now, but for awhile now I've been only crediting to several people that I had received advice from or had followed a tutorial from and or borrowed 1 or more pieces from another member's hack.

I feel that these people deserve to be collabed and they probably should have been in the beginning.  The only one I can't add in would be Bagjac, but for everyone else I will add Spex130, Iwvi, and joke king as collaborated partners of my model imports.

If you decide to take it up again, Tails over Meta Knight is using an old-method bone-added Green Hill Zone Tails model, since it was created in ancient times when model importing was not a BrawlBox feature. A piece of information just in case.

Good luck with all your importing ventures.

Alrighty then, I start working on getting a better Tail over MK then.  And my first stop is to ask the members that were involved with the Knuckles over Jigglypuff hack.  Finished importing Knuckles over that hack and tested, it worked like a charm, so I'm definitely going to try and get Tails working with the newer method.  Thanks Jaklub for the info I needed to know. :af2:

Charmy will be next then I'll have to juggle between Metal Sonic or Rocket Metal Sonic.  I wants my regular Metals, but he has that black triangle that I can't fix on him.  I'm not to fond of Rokettometarusonikku, but he's the only one that has the right colours and no black triangle on the back of his head. :srs:

Thanks, For the help.  I'm pretty much stationary on Metal Sonic because of his warped UV map, and now that I think about it he wasn't the only one who had warped textures.  He would be the only one that I couldn't make a work-around for though....

I'll take whatever help I can get to fixing Metal Sonic and that stupid black triangle.

Post Merge: August 11, 2013, 01:58:26 AM

I must have over looked this the first time I looked at him.  Then I decided to go back and inspect him thoroughly, and I find this piece of [censored] again on his head.  whatever is with the UVs, its [censored]ing everything up and really don't want to put these two on the back burner.  I'd rather have Eggman or his Bot on the back burner before these two.

Any way, progress has started on Charmy and he will be placed over Ness.  I have no Idea who the EggBot or Eggman and his mech will be over,  Maybe R.O.B, Ganon, Bowser, Snake, or a Boss character.  I'm not really sure about them, but the metals will be over Wolf when ever I get back to them, and I'm still working on Tails over MK.

I mentioned this to another user about "Honey", the pack of Sonic The Fighters models didn't include Honey The Cat.  I can only assume that the model rips were from the Gamecube Sonic Gems Collection version of Sonic the Fighters, which completely removed any of the unused characters that were on the Arcade version.

If they tried to use the same cheating method of playing Honey, they would get a headless Sonic and then freezing.

I don't know how to rip models from the original Arcade ROM, or the game data of the HD version for the PS3 and XBOX 360, so the only thing would be if the model were to be  recreated in that style, or to use other renditions of Honey the cat.

But I do have an idea about solving the triangle issue though.....

I can do it. It's easy to rip from Dreamcast. It's hard to rip MODELS from Dreamcast.

See, I think Bagjac ripped from the GC version and then UV'd this himself. See, ripping from the GC gives you a full model and no textures. Ripping from Dreamcast gives you a flattened polygon wall based on the view you based the rip on (along with the textures).

It's possible to get Honey out. It's just that nobody wants to, lol.

Also, I fixed RM's black triangle. It was a simple UV error. Should be the same on normal Metal. You know how to fix that?

Sounds almost like ripping stuff from PS2 games and the way they come out.  Well that's good news for Honey in a way (wish there was an easier method though).  I looked into RM's UVs and played around the area of the black triangle, and I see that it was more simple than I made it out to be.

However, as for Metal I still don't know how to fix it.  I've looked into his UVs and the spot where the black triangle is present is also the black parts between the eyes.  For some reason, they seem to be both connected.

It's probably the fact that this model is strictly modeled based on what color each polygon should be. Just move the out-of-place tri's into the correct color section. Or it could be Normals. It might be. I'll probably check that out.

In any case, I cleaned up RM's T-Pose. It was all manners of non-symmetrical and fragmented. Who was this going over again? And did you want to handle rigging? I can set up an easy T-Pose based on the character. Maybe even a few Bone-Mods for correct sizing if ya want.

Speaking of mods, 'bout to send that template.

I'll check that out too.  The Metal Sonic's all going over Wolf with the other Metal Sonic Hacks and to go with my SFX mod cause I want less work for myself in that area.  I actually did something to Metal Sonic's face and head problems but this only if I exulted all options of fixing that one dot in the UV map that held the eye piece and the black triangle.

It's hardly professional and quite down right lazy.

I took what was causing me the most problems and fussed it with the eyes, and then I re-imported the new eyes and made a new texture that will change the triangle blue and just moved the problem area back into the head.

In short, it caused me so much problems that I decided to just brush it under the carpet....

.
..
...
....

By the time I did this reply, I had already went to fix the normals, I can't get rid of it.  Well I know for a fact that I lack sufficient knowledge in UV Maps, I'll hold onto my cheap M.Sonic until the solution becomes clear enough that my knowledge on this matter becomes broader. :srs:

Edit: and thanks for the Fix'n of the RMS.  I was only one arm done until I thought of attempting Metal again.  I think it was the left arm?

I also checked normal Metal. It's the same problem as RM. Though, instead of just posting the fix I did, I'll just post a mini-tut so you can learn. It's super simple, more than you'd think actually.

Sorry about kinda hogging your thread. I get extra hyper when I'm really interested. STF is one of my favorite games, after all.

Hey main, the post like that is what I like, full of progress and communication.  It all for the sake of getting Metal Sonic and Rocket Metal Sonic fixed, I feel bad for brushing errors under the carpet though.

Well I definitely need to brush up on UV mapping, I'll be doing that and learn from your mini tut as well.

That is strange, I'm sure like what most of it is, its a UV problem and which will probably be fixed when all of it is finished.

Oh and Charmy the Bee is released.  Thanks for the general idea of giving Charmy a Ring for a weapon SplitPersonalities, you have been credited. :)

Edit: And does anybody know where I can get my hands on a Metal Knuckles model from Sonic R?

Title: Re: Reaver Industry [Model Import & Export goods Emporium] Sharing Is Caring
Post by: Spex130 on August 12, 2013, 11:35:59 AM
I think Bagjac simply forgot that Rocket Metal has a different body. It would take all of five minutes to make a new texture for it though.

Also, Sonic R models are only rippable using the same method as STF. That, and the models are so lowpoly that just using the one posted there would be worlds better.

Title: Re: Reaver Industry [Model Import & Export goods Emporium] Friends for R.O.B :)
Post by: Reaver Ind. on August 12, 2013, 02:04:39 PM
Okay, I started detaching his arms and now moving towards his legs.  Its very hard to see through everything since its just one giant object.  I'll need to save the body parts as individual pieces.

There were also some texture problems that needed to be flipped and a out of place photo realistic nut that was placed on him, that was replaced with bolts from Metal Sonic.  It looks a little bit better now in my opinion.

I have no idea on why that is except that there is a texture in Rocket Metal that has what I would like to say would be the words on his head.  But its hardly any good and it appears to be cut off.

A lot of stuff seems to be missing from Bagjac's rips, an example would be that no one had came with a mouth or expressions.  But that can be easily made, I just don't want to right now.

Sorry Eggman, I dun broked it :(
what did you expect a polar bear to do with it?

IMPORTANT
I need help with Knuckles, not the metal one.  There is a user who seems to always have Knuckles' eyes in final smash mode at all times.  But I've tested it out multiple times and both Knuckles with the modern eyes and Classic eyes trigger for the respective roles, the normal eyes stay and change when I get a final smash.

However, the user is still experiencing the problems with the eyes.  If it works well for me; does anybody else here experiencing the same problem as he?

You may also need the PSA for the character to work:

Awesome. I'll download it. Also, not to be buggy, but how's progress on the Metals?

Well, I dunno about Kyu Reaver, but I'm adding that stuff you pointed out to Rocket.

Also, have you added any shininess or other material-y goodness to Metal Knuckles? Because that'd definitely bump up the Quality, Kyu.

Oh, I forgot about that, let *me* go find some tuts for this, and Metal was done-ish but now he'll need the shinning.

.
..
...
....

I'm testing some stuff right now so it may take some time.  If this goes well then Metal will be uploaded along side Metal Knuckles hopefully.

I'll probably need to update Super Sonic sometime as well for the reflective or glowing effect for him.

Edit: I can't get any of the shiny reflectiveness to work. :(

Edit2: Never mind, I got them to finally work out right now.  Screenshots are being taken and both Metal Knuckles and Metal Sonic will have the metal shine on them and they will be uploaded at the same time. ;D

But before I complete Metal Sonic, what sort of blaster should he have?  Should he even have a blaster?

Alright, I'll leave him without one then :)

Edit in a few minutes, I'll be going to the store for food stuffs.  I need some AAA batteries for my PS3 controller, so I might not have them up right now.  It shouldn't be too long though.  they are pretty much finished so I can just do this once I get back.

Edit2: I made a rush description for them and quickly uploaded them before I have to leave, I'll need to make pictures and stuff for the 1st page some other time. :srs:

I hope they turned out well for everyone else....

And Morshu will have to be postponed because I ran into a few errors trying to convert the file.

Cool, the next stuff I considered was that custom Classic Sonic and Pana over sonic.  I decided to do those anyway, and I'll do another import but over Dedede.

With the help and much thanks to Iwvi, I will bring to you what I always wanted over Samus since Melee.  For those who can guess what it is by the title of the topic, you get a cookie and some delicious trout yogurt!

There is just to many verts, and I put some good hours trying to find the right ones that would at least straighten out his tentacle arm, I am so tired and its such a drag.  But I come to the point where I can do this without having to rely too much on other people in the model request thread to do models for me now, so I know I can do it. :srs:

Though I am grateful that Rocket Metal is being fixed by Spex130 when I knew that was out of my field of knowledge.

I probably need to redo Joe Musashi, though I'll hate losing all that progress I put into him, but his hands needs to be rigged properly, that's really the only delay he has, everything else seems to be in working order.

Robotnik and his mech have yet to be touched as I have made little to no attempt to approach him.  I was thinking of placing him over DK, but I still wants my Bark and Eggman separate.  Maybe a boss character?  Or perhaps R.O.B. I don't have anything over him yet.

I'll soon get some icon stuff for the 1st page for Metal Sonic and Metal Knuckles,  I also have done something else while I was away from here.  However, I would need to contact the person on deviantArt before I even think of posting a picture of what I have did to the model that the user created.

The only thing that is done to it is just a T-pose and the separation of the eyes and expressions, no rigging or redistributing of the model had taken place during the recent editing.

If you want to see what the model I am talking about then go search for Model:

Honey by dec0rum

I could say more, but I'll keep that to myself this time.  My crap makes people worry to much already.

1. Honey!? Honey!!

2. Robotnik? Galleom. Or DK. You could put him over R.O.B. too. Have him as the center, with maybe a laser or something as the neck and head. Then rig the Robotnik arms to R.O.B.'s normal arms. You could even leave off the legs, make it an eggpod.

3. Starman? That's not a Junior is it? I never paid attention to that when I played Earthbound.

I recommend you apply the blend button in the skin modifier a nice hearty dosage. Starman seems kinda tentacle-y, so some smooth bendiness would do him some good.

4. Guess I should show you what I've finished, huh.

The main changes here being:

The eyes have been modified so that expressions can happen if necessary.

The side head has the No. 29 text on it.

The Chest has the modified center.

I OCD'd and accidentally gave RM gray foot pads while I was kinda zoned out. I can remove those.

Your call, Kyu.

1. Well I have to ask for permission even though I started to T-pose her and did some editing to the model.  I'll need to apologize for that first since I didn't read the description all the way through.

2. I'll take all ideas into consideration since I really didn't know what to do with him.

3. This would probably be just the regular Starman though I don't remember what the description of the trophy says about it.

This is only just a quick screen capture of what I was doing to him, I still have so much verticies to attend to before his arm is complete.  But I'm sure I'll need the blend it when he is fully posed.  And I have to do something about that texture too.

4. The Rocket Metal looks fantastic Spex,  all I wanted was that stupid black triangle gone and you did much more than that.  I could care less about the grey foot pads so you can leave them.

I also need to know of a better way to get the missing textures to the other Earthbound trophies in Melee, more specifically Paula and Poo.  We don't need Jeff since he made it to brawl.

Sorry for the lack of updates and being MIA but this should clear some things up.

The past few weeks I have been depressed for sometime now, well hopefully tomorrow that will end.  But the last project I was working on was Silver Sonic mkII from Sonic Adventure/DX, and he is now fully rigged over Wolf.  I was thinking of R.O.B and I may decided on making two versions of Silver Sonic in the future.

Right now the plan is to apply the reflective color textures to the appropriate places on his body, but I won't be able to do that for a good while until I see if I will get some free time if any anymore.  This reason being is that I finally can stop [censored]ing about the fact that I could never get a job, since I finally landed one at the end of last week.

So for those who were wondering about where Reaver Ind. importing topic was headed, this is an update to it. :)

Gonna rig those hands?

Title: Re: Reaver Ind. [Model Imports & Exports Emporium] Silver Sonic mkII and being gone.
Post by: Reaver Ind. on September 03, 2013, 07:04:49 PM
I can't do nothin with those hands.  The hands are stuck like that because that's how the model was.  I guess the hands would been more like gun turrets for him, so it would look horrible to me if I tried to rig them to wolfs fingers and stuff.

I can fix that, if you'd like. 10 minute return, no sweat.

Well, no. But I should be able to import an .FBX, OBJ or DAE just fine. It just has to be the model, it doesn't need to hold the rig or anything.

Well here is the .obj file of the Silver Sonic:

I'll be surprised if you could get them to be rigged because the hand is like one solid object which literally has no fingers.

Edit: Also excellent work and good luck in creating Mighty No.9 "Beck"

In all honesty, I'm not really sure with this one.  It might have turned out better maybe over another character idk.  I kind of hate his giant junk pieces on him, but whatever.

I'm going to go back to Metal Sonic since I skipped rigging the fingers for him.  So I feel more confident about rigging the fingers now.  After he's done, then I'll get Fixing Joe Musashi finally.  Right now I'm going to bed.

Edit: fixed the OP to included a link to Metal Sonic and Metal Knuckles to their respective vault download.

Agreed.  I'm going to change plans for Joe Musashi, He needs alot of work to be done to him.  So I'm moving on to Tails and seeing if I can get him fully operational over the Tails Mk PSA thingy.  Following this will be Shadow [STF] style and whatever else I can get my hands on.  I would also like to say that I may ignore this order and rip some [censored] from some more games.

I'll also be returning to some of my earlier crap I tried to request for from the importers here, I found my collections so Sonic related stuff may be slow.

Unless there is a Sonic character that is in dire need of being imported or that I want to import, then I would do it.  But I'm not in any hurry to search for that yet.

After a long hiatus from this stuff do to RL crap, I finally feel comfortable to get back in the swing of things.  I will be finally uploading The 'Sonic The Fighter' Shadow sometime later on today, I then will be away from model importing to help AnImAiNe in getting some good Sanji voice mod stuffs.

Forgive me when I say this but I have no idea about the post above me was supposed to be about and I have completely forgotten about it, if anyone could remember that September, please don't hesitate in doing so. :(

Another voice mod would be a Dark Ryu that needs to be completed, however it all requires Brawlbox IDs and I have yet to finish translating them to Smashbox, so this is a slow moving mod as well.  But once I find a good place to just jump in and attack it with the addition of my missing mojo, then I can get the ball rolling.

Happy Kwanzaa everybody, here's a pic of the Shadow with the modern eyes:
there will always be a classic eye version in my downs :)

And here's a book to get you started if your not to sure what Kwanzaa is:
I sort of feel bad for Kwanzaa bot and how many times he gave out that book....

Edit: due to my job, I will have to delay releases until my days off... :(

I see what your saying, but I have another issue with Shadow and I'll probably need some assistance with him.  The textures seemed to be flipped or glitched in some way and I forgot how to fix those errors again.  So I couldn't actually get Shadow out on the 26 of December like I wanted to. :(

I will now give a update on my thread.  I'm dropping Joe Musashi, I can't seem to get anything working when rigging him.  So I'll just upload the whole dang folder of all the .DAE files and the 3DS Max Studio 2011 files in one file and hopefully someday someone could fix what I couldn't or just scrap what I did and do it with their own professional touch.

I hate going through the stupid polygons of the STF models so Eggman and his mech plus that other robot thingy will be on hold until I feel like doing that stuff.  Other than that I uploaded two non Sonic characters to the vault (still pending) and a third will be up there as well (look at avatar).

King Konbu is one of my favorite imports I have ever done, adorable and cool at the same time in my opinion.  credit goes to DeviantArtist jjinomu for the crown model that I saw a certain Dangan Ronpa character wear ( I ain't give'n out spoilers).

His name was ripped from a ecchi manga called Nyatto! where some perverted idiot with a cat has some strange power to only transform female cats into cat girls.  His cat Konbu believes that she is some sort of noble cat of high breed and class and demands to be treated as such.  Read it if you want, it only has 15 chapters since it wasn't really popular to have more than that unfortunately.  But I like cat girls so I thought it was funny. :)

Another inspiration of this character comes from a youtube channel JaltoidGames, specifically most of the inspiration is from Dalton and Emi's playthrough of Super Mario Bros. 3D World, full of 'Cats', 'Kingly crown' and the funny "Hello" Dalton uses references that I actually used it in naming the crown model while rigging it onto Konbu.

Merry Bell's original look was no where close to the final import picture, she originally had Peach's bust and legs, Marth's cape and emblem, Pit's skirt and that weird SSE bird swan thing that I transformed into a sword.  I unfortunately didn't keep the original files and lost them forever, unless they are on my external hard drive, but that won't do any good now.

She was also made to be entered into the whole KC:MM custom model contest thing, but since I had no idea how to fully rig a model, smoothing them out and all that other stuff like now, she was never completed and never was entered.

Truth be told, her name was super rushed.  I had no idea what to call her and was about to make a thread title "what should I call this character?", I was strapped for names and nothing was coming to mind.  So I just decided to just give her something I like (One Piece), since she was a sheep.....  Merry, and the last name Bell came from Anne Bell which I truly have no idea where that came from, so that is how this sheep girl got her name.

Some of her items don't quite fit her character.  She as a shepherds cane, one could only imagine how she got it and whatever happened to the shepherd.  she has Cook Kirby's pot and a basket because I was thinking about spring picnics :3.  I'm not sure why I gave her a coin, but it was to replace the original item which going to be Toon Link's Pig, which was later used for something far more better.

Dedede looked like a fat *** Pig, so I made him one, simple as that.  But somewhere it started to become really enjoyable to the point I made it original.  With the scraped pig crown weapon from Merry Bell, I decided to make this pig into its own character and thought to my self "wouldn't be funny for a pig to be a chef?  Business would never be great for him."  So I basically stole alot of stuff from Cook Kirby to make him.

My difficulties with him was getting the spatula with the right transparencies and the body parts to appear as they should in game and weighted correctly.  Another problem was the building stress I endured with him while having get up and go to work, coming back tired and sore, not really wanting to do anything related to model rigging and brawl editing.

The last feat was his texture, for those who can get this reference and mental image since I can't find the picture anywhere, I wanted to recreate Sanji's chef outfit from One Piece Unlimited Adventure, but I wasn't really confident in my own abilities and hoped for someone to make something out of Kirby's Chef hat texture.  In the end I did what I could to fix any seams through the textures to get this result, and I'm happy with it.

Where Konbu was cute and cool, Merry was cute and sexy and finally Chef Buta is all that and just down right funny and stupid to me, Chef Buta has to be my most favorite import out of all the Sonic imports, Konbu and Merry.  I hope others would enjoy him as well. :)

A fourth one was originally planed dubbed "CrystalBeetal" but some rigging issues is giving me second thoughts, all in all he is actually complete-ish:

Mixed with the bug SSE enemy, the Siamese robot, the giant golem bot and the puppet's claws, I was able to create some abomination that looks like a Megaman X3 Maverick ripoff. :af:

The reason why he isn't uploaded is because of rigging problems where pieces just don't connect to the body, which is noticeable in the legs connecting to the round sphere but that could also be easily fixed with some texture edits.

Another issue is the cannons that I can't decided how I wan't them to be rigged.  Final issue, textures coming from the white siamese robot and me not really knowing how to get that working correctly.  But I did manage to get the horn to be some what of a crystal.

I don't really have anything else planed other than more Custom SSE/Smash Bros. fusion imports and Sfx/Voice mods, those seem to be what gets me fired up.  I may have something in the future probably.

Thankyou for commenting  :), and yes, those were really unique.  Subspace Amalgam #2 was just plain sick as hell, one of the coolest alternate costumes I used for pit before I decided to make my Brawl an all Sonic cast.  Which now gives me an idea using more SSE enemies:

Poppant Bombed the CD item and various trophies and brawl character pieces seems to look good in my head right now. :)

I'm also thinking of using the weird SSE enemy "Gamyga" for Ganondorf.

The pieces are there, now I just need to construct it into something and see.

Most of this stuff is from The Models Resource, so if people are confused about the names of the enemies or don't exactly know what they look like again, that place has pictures of them.

Ganon may turn out to be fun probably.

Edit: finished my fourth import, I'll upload him together with Chef Buta once I get all of the pics I need for the vault.

Well that's only because I planed on doing something with the Sonic the Fighters models and ended up disappearing for a long while without really bringing anything back.  That and many failed attempts at rigging Joe Musashi, which is now canceled due to mass frustration with the shoulders and back. :srs:

And as for my beetle combination thing, I cant get the rig right, and I might not release him at all. :(

I'm not really happy with how everything below the waist is a set up right now, I've worked on it an it's not coming together like I wanted it to.  So I'll have to probably scrap it and start the rigging process over again.

But for right now I will work on another character import over Link.

But it is still great to see that I'm at least trying to breath life in  Reaver Ind. with at least something.

Edit: Going back to my Merry Bell import, I found the original concept of my Merry Bell, I don't have the files but I have one pic that I forgot about but had uploaded it:

Before
(http://i50.tinypic.com/29wa6vo.jpg)
Zelda's shoulder pads, Marth's cape and sword, Peach's crown, legs and bust(modified), Pit's skirt, the SSE enemy shovel bird thing, the rainbow bird and the sheep monster. These where all of the pieces which was going to be her original look and probably would have worked now.  But I still can't get a successful import over Marth yet and as I keep looking at it, she just looks like an old queen with a huge rack. :af:

After

before the texture edits

Final

the final product

Also, for the other model importers that are interested in taking over my failed Joe Musashi project, PM me if you wish to get the link to the model or I'll just try to search for the vault where I uploaded nearly all of the ripped models from Sonic All Star Racing Transformed ( I couldn't care at this point) :-\.

Well, while finishing up the Female Dragon Quest Warrior, I went ahead and touched up a older import I was having difficulties in rigging.  It's not Joe Musashi sadly, but this may have helped me in rigging people over Marth, which means that I can resurrect some of my Marth imports that never made it. :)

Side Scrolling, Hack n' Slashing Princess Gradiel from Princess Crown.  I've never owned a Sega Saturn, so I was never able to experience the game back then.  I found this model from the obscure Chinese 3d model website that is in my sig, I wasn't looking for this character in particular, it just seemed like a cool model that might be cool over marth.

That Female Fighter from Dragon Quest III that was introduced and was a member of your party, you would also see both male and female fighters in several games later in different towns and cities.  This model was ripped straight from Dragon Quest Swords, but I can't remember if I had to rip the weapons or if she had already came with them....

I spent days on the DQ fighter and about 3 months total for Gradiel, And I'm sure I have other parts on them that need fine tuning please forgive them for being "rough" imports.  They just came to the point to where I couldn't seem to get certain areas any better than they could get, so I hope they're not to noticeable.

This is an update that will cover various parts of what I do here, some will consist of projects that I'm involved with and some will be about (sigh) more cancellations and sitting more stuff on the back-burner.  However with the cancellations, comes newer projects that strikes my interest more than what I have currently been working on.

*Sanji model import PSA: SFX & Voices*

I still have one more voice clip to rip out, and that's can either be from the game or from the anime.  I just need Sanji in a long yell or scream as if he's falling down or in pain.  That would finish the voices.

So yes, I'm definitely still interested and working hard to rip out voices and sfx without any background interference. :)

*Cancellations and Plans*

Well Joe Musashi is one, now being added to the list is Princess Gradiel from Princess Crown.  I can't seem to get her model to look right once I try to fix her normals.  I anyone who is more interested in this character than I and want to take this over, I already have her T-posed and she's ready to be rigged to whom ever.

My robo SSE beetle will be placed on the back-burner since I lost interest in him for the time being, I'll return to him once I can find a 'good place' to approach the project again. :(

I haven't figured out what I was going to do with Robotnick and his mech and that robot thing, I have an idea but its not concrete yet.  They still need to be fixed and worked on, so really nothing has been done yet... :(

*WIPs*

As of right now, the Dragon Quest Girl Fighter is complete, her upload will come eventually when ever I get some good preview pics.  The next WIP model import will be in the screenshot below:

After working on Chef Buta, I've learned how to get him to not be transparent in game and was able to fight with minimal rig errors, he still needs work but its coming close to complete. :)

I will also be uploading the screenshots I use for my imports to my Deviant Art, so nothing really new there except that if I end up taking more pics than what I'm allowed to upload on the vault, they will most likely go there.

http://shinlung.deviantart.com/ (http://shinlung.deviantart.com/)

Next will be an Overhaul with most if not all Sonic the Fighters model imports I did with NIBROCrock's models that are available.  He has given me permission and his approval to do so and he will be credited and collabed once they are completed and imported.

So the first ones will be:

Bark
Fang/Nack the Sniper/Weasel
Bean

And when he's not too overworked, I'll be able to add his Honey the Cat custom model to the list. :)

Too see all the models he will be releasing go to his DeviantArt page:

*Conclusion*
Its not alot, just a couple of stuff that is on the list to do and stuff that hit the chopping block and some awesome V2 Sonic The Fighters models on the way.  The Dragon Quest Girl Fighter will be out and if things go the way they are now, Starman will join her in a double release.

Looks like he's on Lucario.

Sadly he's imported over Samus.  But I'll hold on to that idea, cause that might turn out to be less of an headache then trying to do Samus. :)
