Super Smash Bros. Melee Remastered 2.5

http://youtu.be/_GrM3Sm45YM (http://youtu.be/_GrM3Sm45YM)

Major Fixes

- Tweaked Melee Adventure to improve sequences
- New Stages, Costumes, and Re-designed characters
- Corrected effects
- Re-done items
- New trophies
- Corrected Giant Bowser (he was missing a horn)
- Fixed Project M models

Character Changes

- Nearly all characters have been optimized. Spec maps and some textures were reduced.
- Unnecessary textures (Meta Knight's broken mask, Sonic's specs, etc) were removed
- The following characters were re-designed:
Sonic - removed his shaders, and fixed the models to be more user-friendly.
Zero Suit Samus - textures are less saturated and face looks more realistic.
Meta Knight - default costume is now based on his modern colors.
Toon Link - completely new design. More Toon, less Young.

New Costumes

(http://i.imgur.com/sWD4Q3X.png)(http://i.imgur.com/KiAiXQG.png)(http://i.imgur.com/OaF48sz.png)(http://i.imgur.com/2il76pI.png)(http://i.imgur.com/waIgaNx.png)(http://i.imgur.com/TvcMIAo.png)(http://i.imgur.com/TySn3bt.png)(http://i.imgur.com/nKshw53.png)(http://i.imgur.com/zsKpFYv.png)(http://i.imgur.com/M3pCtW8.png)(http://i.imgur.com/BJj4EYr.png)(http://i.imgur.com/g70MB0o.png)(http://i.imgur.com/fiv6T1L.png)(http://i.imgur.com/V5jcUss.png)(http://i.imgur.com/spTrf1y.png)

Alternate Version: Light

This is a more compacted edition of SSBMR 2.5. Each character has 4, 5, or 6 costumes. Due to the reduced number of costumes, CSPs are now a better format, making for a more presentable and neat Character Selection Screen. It has new & exclusive costumes.

Alternate Version: Competitive

This one is the same as the Light version, but has all Project M 3.6 stages and movesets. Ideal for those who play competitively or who are interested in taking it to tournaments.

I can help with recolors if you need it! ;D
*I once recolored all of the characters(Trophies) that didn't have "Fighters" listed on the Models Resource, to look practically identical to the original Brawl recolors.(Still have most of them.)*

Can you make a pack without the sound effects changed? some people including me prefer the brawl sounds and announcer over the melee one.

How did you edit All-Star mode???

Not to be rude but a quick google search could have helped you. Still, here's the link:

http://smashboards.com/threads/event-matches-we-can-edit-them-all-star-and-classic-too.288062/ (http://smashboards.com/threads/event-matches-we-can-edit-them-all-star-and-classic-too.288062/)

@AlGeorgeRomo: I was wondering if you wanted me to try my hand at custom stages for your new All Star Mode. I haven't downloaded the pack yet but I assumed your All Star Vision would to be to fight the Yoshi's first and continue like the Adventure Mode pattern am I correct?

Well, I could try to rip some of the adventure models from Melee and then convert them to Brawl stages. Of course this is assuming you would need it.

EDIT: Hm, the file won't download for me. It's a shame :(, I hope the problem can be fixed soon.

DOUBLE EDIT: Sorry, seems that it is working. Maybe my internet was just messing up for a while. Can't wait to try it out ;D.

No, but I will release a "hacked" version for those who use Gecko or stuff like that

Or I can just tell everyone here now that just paste the "info.xml" from the "launcher" folder into your gecko folder and it will load but make sure to deleted the "meta" from the gecko folder.

Nevermind.

Just add the apps folder from the Homebrew version and delete the private folder.

Why delete the private folder? Because there is the st file that loads the Hackless version.
If it is still there, the game will FREEZE.

You first need to download the original Project M.
Delete all sawnd files and add the ones from the original Project M.

Melee sounds are not annoying, they are NOSTALGIC.  :'(

But well, as you wish.

I uploaded the full demo again, but this time it has Brawl SFX. I deleted my half-assed patch because I remembered that some users don't really know how to manage files in Brawl. Instead of making a tutorial, I just said "screw it" and uploaded a different one entirely.

If I was in charge, I would slap Pat across the face and hire Dean Harrington (Melee) to be the Announcer in SSB4

MEGA is the best way to download.

Mediafire corrupts some files and Dropbox tempts to fail when many people are downloading.

4shared forces you to have an account to download.

The announcer in SSB4 is fitting for the game, but the announcer has some weird calls, like Greninja. Mega Man also has a weird call.

The individual ones of his have broken downloads for these characters:
Snake
Lucario
Yoshi
Zero-Suit Samus

But, if he has any others, they should have fine links; but you can still get these ones if you download the pack of his. (I believe he has the pack at the top of his vault.)

Also will there be a melee styled challenger approaching screen (assuming there is unlock able characters in project m)
like this

Nope. I won't make a Challenger Approaching screen. In Project M, all fighters are unlocked, regardless of whether you have or don't have them unlocked on the disc. (I think. I'm not sure if 3.5 does this anymore)

HYES!!!!! Finally able to jump onto homebrew file!!! Thank you @Algeorgeromo! Gotta do my chores and then I will try this out!

Wish you actually had Metal Luigi, Giant Bowser and DK, and not the costumes.

None-the-less, very good job. I love just playing as a metal Luigi skin, and I will need to add SDHC codes manually, don't I? Tried with my 16GB card on homebrew version and it failed miserably. Silly why it doesn't launch with SDHC codes, as vanilla PM has it. Why do all the hax remove my SD codes? BAHH! Had to grab my standard SD card and copy the files over.

Nothing crashed for me.

You need to add the SDHC code manually or run from the standard PM launcher (even then, try SDHC code first, then get the PM launcher

Got a question here. Lets say I want the vanilla project m stages but I dont want to remove the classic mode setup or the melee adventure mode stuff. Am I able to just remove the stages from this pack and put in the project m ones and then just replace the screen select files? Will I be able to load the extra stages for project m 3.6 that arent there here? (N64 stages for the remasters are on a separate button combo)

Classic Mode and Melee adventure are in common2.pac, so you can change the stages and portraits as long as you don't modify common2.pac.

Try this:

-Go to your Chrome downloads; you can access it via the drop-down menu on the upper-right or typing in "chrome://downloads" in the URL box.
-Find your blocked download in the list; you should see an option to recover the file (take it from me, SSBMR isn't malicous at all)
-A pop-up window will ask if you really wanna download this; choose the "Hurt Me Plenty" option

You need to replace "common2.pac", "gameconfig", and I'm not sure if it'll freeze if you have unlocked stages.
The Adventure folder has nothing to do with All Star.

Replaced common2.pac & gameconfig, but it seemed to take me back to the Wii Menu whenever I press play on PM's boot up menu.

Replaced common2.pac & gameconfig, but it seemed to take me back to the Wii Menu whenever I press play on PM's boot up menu.

There may be some codes interfering. I don't know what else could be causing the problem.

Should I send you my build through dropbox then?
Or what's the code for Melee Adventure? (if there is one)

There's no code for Melee Adventure. I mean codes from Project M. They may be interfering with Melee Adventure.

Hey, I already have it downloaded to my SD Card (along with the AT Costumes), but when I access it through either PM or Riivolution, all I get is a blank screen. What gives?!?
