If you had read the Info/About, you would have known that this is a clean slate for people to work off of and add their own clones. I didn't add any characters or stages or music (Thus why I said Project M + BrawlEx TEMPLATE). This is just purely Project M modified to use the BrawlEx clone engine. Nothing more, nothing less. If you have any more questions about this pack, please see the FAQ ;) (And by the way, I meant ones that work well as a template for others. Not saying yours isn't good or anything, great in fact, but do you think your pack will work as well if I were to add, oh I dunno, 5 characters on top of all of the characters you have? Exactly.) (Also, If this came off as rude, sorry. I was just trying to explain the best I could) Title: Re: [OUT NOW!!] Project M D.I.Y. This comes with no characters besides the ones already in Project M. As for adding more characters, It should be the same process. However, the BrawlEx Clone Tool is very glitchy with this, so you have to use the traditional method (If you have any more questions, please see the FAQ) Title: Re: [Official] Project M D.I.Y. The BrawlEx clone tool is unfortunately incompatible with Project M DIY. But it isn't that hard to add clones without the clone tool. The video tutorial is at the bottom of the installation Spoiler. To add clones to my CSS roster, I go to the BrawlEx folder in my pf folder and open CSSRoster.dat with the BrawlEx Config Utility. (v1.3) Then, up near the top of the Config Util window, you want to press the up arrow next to the number in the white box. (After increasing the number, be sure to click the scroll bar next to all the fighters. If you use the scroll wheel after clicking one of the little arrows, it will either add of take away a lot of fighters, and that ain't good.) Scroll down to the bottom of the list and find where it says 29 Random. Click on it a few times, and change it to your clones ID. Then, change the 00 Mario RIGHT below where Random used to be, change that to 29. Please tell me if you need anymore assistance -Ty Title: Re: [Official] Project M D.I.Y. Hi thief. Development is going great on the update. It should even be done by today. Would you like me to private message you when the update is complete? Anyways, yes, it is compatible with adding cosmetics with the clone tool. However, I do not recommend using it because the clone tool is VERY glitchy sometimes. If I were you, I'd use the traditional method. If you are going to use the clone tool, I'd recommend downloading the latest version from here (http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=70217.0) Title: Re: [Official] Project M D.I.Y. I've been looking for a CLEAN SLATE for who knows how long. I have a few questions, some of which you might want to put in the F.A.Q: -Does this come with the custom announcer calls? (E.X. Dedede, Mewtwo, Roy) -Is there SFX for Mewtwo and Roy? -What is the "[Official]" in the thread name? And one more question that's VERY important... ...In a PM. XD Post Merge: October 31, 2014, 03:23:09 PM Oh, one more thing: On the hackless version, there's a folder called "apps" on the root. What for? I've never experienced anything with this folder, and even on regular P:M Hackless. ...help? Title: Re: Project M D.I.Y. Dedede, Mewtwo, Roy) -Is there SFX for Mewtwo and Roy? -What is the "[Official]" in the thread name? Yes Yes The Official was just to signify that this is the actual page for Project M DIY (along with the Smashboards page) But I see where people could get confused. (Also the Project M team might be thinking I'm advertising it as an official Project M version. So I removed it from the title) On the hackless version, there's a folder called "apps" on the root. What for? I've never experienced anything with this folder, and even on regular P:M Hackless. That's just something that came with the launcher upon hitting the "update" button on the launcher. Apps folder is removed in the update Post Merge: October 31, 2014, 07:56:47 PM The 1.2 bugfix update is out now! Upgrade now to fix bugs in previous version! No. Just because its an unstable build and that would make this even more buggy then it is. However, you CAN use the Beta modules from the 2.0.0 build with the 1.2.0.0 build's config templates and stuff. So if you wanna do that, that's fine Edit: Now that I think about it, I guess I COULD make a Beta build of Project M DIY... Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. (A Project M + BrawlEx Template) Post by: Sirkura on November 24, 2014, 08:32:43 PM how far are you guys in decrypting the 3.5 codeset? i remember having to help a bit with that before. we needed to remove all aspects of the clone engine prior to getting BeX to work. i'm looking forward to this. i personally dislike the 3.5 physics but meh thats me lol. i'll just have to do with them if i want the extra modes. most of the modes i'm making i'm trying to make compatible with all versions of smash. so it will make testing so much easier in 3.5 with BeX

And it seemed like everytime I DID have a chance, the website was down.
As for the question: I don't decrypt the codeset myself. A guy by the name of the jasgx from the Smash Boards(* (http://smashboards.com/members/jasgx.236513/)) makes the codes. He was nice enough to lend me his codes for the project. He is working on making a new codeset right now and I'm currently waiting for him to lend them to me. Hopefully, that will be soon. But until then, this update is at a stand still. Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. I've been going through the video tutorials to add a character and it's all going pretty well till the guy wants me to open up /pf/info/info.brress (to add character names and mark) and that's missing. I don't want to add his stock file because I'm assuming it might screw with PM. I was wondering if you moved it somewhere like the selchar_en? Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. I'm not sure how to decrypt codes, so if you could give me some updated codes that would be great! i don't know how many i can decrypt but what will be stopping you will be masqurade. each extra costume slot has i think 3 different codes we need to find. and every character has at least one new one now. i'll post the codes i know first and we can review from there.PM Clone engine (not sure these changed much) Code: Usage Storage Engine [Dantarion] Cosmetics (this will probably be your biggest hurdle) Code: Cosmetic Stuff now each costume added should have its data somewhere in that cosmetics list. we need to find the correct format for them and it should be fairly easy to find the rest if we can figure that first part out. i'm pretty sure those are here: Masquerade Costumes (1/3) [ds22] 04455480 80586170 044554B0 80586184 044554D0 8058619C 044554E0 805861B4 04455530 805861C4 04455590 805861D8 04455660 80586220 04455690 80586130 04455620 805861F0 04455630 80586200 04455640 80586210 Masquerade Costumes (2/3) [ds22] 04455204 06060C00 04455280 08070C00 044552A0 07070C00 044552B0 0A070C00 0445535C 08060C00 0445537C 0A060C00 0445538C 08060C00 04455408 08070C00 04455424 09070C00 04455434 07060C00 Masquerade Costumes (3/3) [ds22] 06586130 00000010 06000001 09040103 03020705 08060C00 06586170 00000014 03000001 01030905 02060804 03070008 01090C00 00000000 06586184 00000018 03000001 01030204 06050506 07070808 09090A0A 0C000000 0658619C 00000018 07000804 00010302 01030905 08060007 03080109 0C000000 065861B4 00000010 02000001 03020103 02040705 0C000000 065861C4 00000014 06000A05 00010103 03020904 07070806 0C000000 00000000 065861D8 00000018 09000A05 01030001 03020804 07060007 03080109 0C000000 065861F0 00000010 00000201 01030302 07040805 0C000000 06586200 00000010 01000302 00010203 07040805 0C000000 06586210 00000010 02000001 03020103 07040805 0C000000 06586220 00000010 01000001 05040905 03020706 0C000000 its gonna take some time figuring these out alone. then after that we are gonna have to find them in the new GCT. one thing i did notice tho these lines repeat. (marked in green near the bottom, possible headers for each costume?) they all have the same format: 06586ZZZ 000000YY Z seems to be a pointer to posibly the cosmetic file location? (think BeX how when you manually add extra costumes they are numbered 110, 120 ,130 etc) i am not sure what Y is yet. and the first 2 sets of codes for masquerade start with the same values as well 04455ZZZ XXXXXXXX UPDATE: December 09, 2014, 12:35:10 PM Ohh snap this will make it even easier >.> just noticed the codes are set up just like this: http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=66848.0 (http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=66848.0) Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. I know how to set up the costumes in BrawlEx (which is not fun to do) but how would I go about finding the codes for the other things? I don't have a lot of experience with codes... for now i would worry about the last 3 chunks of code. we havent even gotten to the part of parsing the 3.5 GCT. we found the 3/3 code format we need to find how 1/3 and 2/3 work. the only think you can really do is guess. it is going to be a lot of trial and error. would be easy if we could figure out the opening of the first 2 chunks of code so we could decyfer it. so far i only see this pattern: 1/3 04455ZZZ 80586YYY 2/3 04455ZZZ 0YYY0C00 3/3 06586ZZZ 000000YY blue values won't really matter you need to look for the green values. easiest way is to use brawlbox (a newer one with a GCT/TXT editor) we might actually have enough information to parse the 3.5 gct now. basically save all codes as .txt after you load the GCT and use (in note pad) the find command and search for those green numbers. when you find one in that format its part of the code. I just wanted to let you guys know that I have not been able to work on Project M D.I.Y. recently. I can't work on it until I have the proper GCT codes. I have had a lot of personal stuff going on with Christmas and all. I'm sorry for the delay on the update. But I will get it done as soon as I can! I just want to thank you all for your support. I never would have dreamed this would be so popular. I'm just so happy people love what I have created. It makes me feel so great to know that I have done something to make so many people happy. Your friend, -Ty chin up we are actually pretty close. not much will need to be changed from the first version to v2. it would be faster but the PMBR is being most uncooperative. honestly this is why i dislike the PM mod. the crew just always seems so arrogant, it turns me away. not all are like that obviously. but a lot are. maybe i'll pm ds22 directly for help. since we are dealing with his codes anyway. if all else fails i will personally parse the codes myself. its not hard but it may take some time. i'm pretty busy with the holidays at my store. I appreciate what you've done here, and am glad you gave proper accreditation to jasgx for his efforts in the GCT code department! I believe that we have already sent you a group request to join the team, but that's more of a precaution to be certain we've received your attention. Just to be clear, and this has probably been answered before but this is more specific, what changes to the engine have been implemented in your build? Does it mechanically have any differences to Unbound, or is it simply a clean slate based off our codebank? If there are any significant changes, perhaps we could use your engine to build upon our engine and potentially fix any lingering issues! These are the current issues at hand:
*L-cancelling has no buffer on clones *Kirby is very glitchy with his Down-B and on the CSS screen (although not sure on the details). *Some people have reported issues with stage expansions, but this is unconfirmed We hope that more work can be done to better improve both of our engines! Thank you very much, and I look forward to speaking with you soon. Also, in regards to Fox, I'm certain our team has a solution to that! We've dealt with costume issues before, so we'll see what can be done. Take Care! Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. Take care, -Ty Np ^^ i don't mind helping. and its not that i don't like PM. i like a lot of their codes... i just don't like that teams attitude, its very off-putting. they don't support mods like this at all because they don't want their game to be changed. the exact phrase they used was they don't want false representation of the(ir) game. its just so silly to keep codes and techniques in the dark. i mean phantom wings made the first portable character rel files. which lead to him making BeX wich he shared and inturn other modders learned from and made even more rel files. if you only release things to a static group nothing really changes or improves, no new idea's. i guess its just kinda stale to me, and the only reason they are doing it is so more people play their game. hopefully mods like this will help open it up a bit more with customization. [/rant] i just wish i could do it faster, but i dont have a lot of free time. Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. Any-who; That would be fantastic if we could incorporate parts of your code into the project! We have big changes coming, so we'd love to cooperate with you if you'd be willing to! As for the message, there must have been some communication errors of some sort; I believe I sent you a message, but if not, could you please provide a link to your profile page on Smashboards? It's somewhat irrelevant to send the message out now since we got in contact with you, but if you'd like me to forward it to you, I can. Many thanks! Also, I once tried to sponsor Project Unbound and got sharp remarks from some of the PMBR staff; I think that's blown over since then, but it was pretty degrading to see them so negative towards us. Something about their demeanor towards other modders is somewhat hypocritical and nasty; It's almost as if they're above us. Shame; they have so much great development that it'd really help surge the modding community. Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. Making posts on mobile devices is confusing!I wonder why they're so unsupportive in the modifying of Project M? A long while ago, I asked a person who made a code set for Project M + BrawlEx if he could give me a .txt file of it he immediately snapped back at me and said he couldn't because the codes for Project M are private and he isn't allowed to share them. And he wasn't even a dev for Project M! I'd hate to see what a Project M dev would say... o_o Anyways, I'd be more than happy to let you guys use Project M DIY as a template! I let anyone use it for their packs, but I thought I'd say it personally anyways. You can also message me if you ever need any assistance with Project M DIY. Also, be sure to report any bugs if you DO use it. I haven't had a chance to test out the things you wanted me to. I'll try to get it done by today. Actually, you could test it out yourself, if you want. Just download the pack and see for yourself. My modified codeset is also in there, so feel free to check out the differences. -Ty Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. (A Project M + BrawlEx Template) Post by: SmashAmass on December 18, 2014, 12:23:34 AM -snip Well, my guess is that, due to the insanely long development time of Project M, that they feel they have rights to all of their developments. That's kind of backwards IMO; they should have just forwarded it to the community and let them develop part of it... but I digress. Anywho, yeah just reply back to me with your Smashboards Account Link and I'll send you a message about the application process. It's just an easier way for Jasgx and Me to communicate with you and make further developments, as I tend to forget to check this site for any updates. I just need a disk in my wii (any disc) and the loader makes the wii think its the brawl or whatever disc in there when its not. So in stead of going to the PM app you just boot up the loader and start the game as normal. Anyways, ill try again on adding that clone or another one. im a bit rusty so i might have done something wrong somewhere along the lines -Leaf Stone Funny you should say something about Zero since thats the clone im trying to add. ive added clones before just idk. its been a long time lol I was pretty confused when i downloaded this and it give me both pm and the normal. i didnt know if deleting the pm folder was bad or not if it was given to me so i just kept it -Stop posting before i can reply D: -snip that cleared up some stuff for me i guess, the pm pf folder isnt needed. wait whys it in the download then D: Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. Watching Sammi Husky's vidoes on how to add portrites and stuff to clones and failling at it, i was wondering if theres any extra steps to take since there are a lot more files than what we see in his vidoes. Example would be the Info editing. We have way more of those files than he does plus he has one we dont. The "Info" folder doesnt have the brres in it. Im not sure how to make one, im guessing you just take misc30 from an info.pac and make it a brres instead and just place that in there.
Anyways, im wondering if anyone has any idea in what i should be doing and what not Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. And again, I unfortunately don't have time to make a bugfix update for the current version. However! This time around I'm going to be smart and make sure everything is absolutely PERFECT before releasing. I'm going to make some clones to test if all the needed files are there, I'm going to try and do all that competitive mumbo-jumbo (Wave-dashing, L-canceling, whatever other competitive crap (can someone please make a list of all those technical competitive moves for me? I've never been big on competitive play so I honestly have no idea about half of those moves)) I'd just recommend not using CSS icons atm. Ik, ik... I should have tested it before hand... There is this think or whatever that lets you use a higher sd but I never looked into it. oh thats easy lol add this to your GCT. it won't work if you use smash stack tho. as brawl can normally only read 2 gigs. gecko only (usb loaders use gecko as well) Code: SDHC Extension 1.1[Bero] Also just wanted to let you know i havent forgotten. i've been really sick lately with a stubborn cold. I do not know how to make a GCT code, but luckily a few nice people on the forums are helping me make them. Other than that, I think we're ok. Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. https://www.mediafire.com/?eo75i6l8nk48uv2 (https://www.mediafire.com/?eo75i6l8nk48uv2) * just a few notes. i do not think multi costume giga will work by itself. i had to delete the CSS and costume flags. also the "unknown" codes are mostly going to be related to sudden death, and the debug mode from what i can tell. feel free to experiment with them in other GCT's and let me know how things work. lastly all i did was remove the css and clone data. i also added the BeX FPC. that means it uses the regular brawl directories in the SD card. (private/rsbe/pf/etc) do make sure to copy the pf folder in "projectM" to the corect spot in "rsbe" i'll leave the editing of the files (common5, 2, etc) good luck ^^ Sirks~ Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. I have all the codes in your codeset enabled and in GCT form in the codes folder. What should I do to fix this? i'm not very familliar with the launcher myself. there could be a few issues that cause this, as something similar happened when i made BeX compatible with our GCT. tried loading it with gecko? if so try the hook OSSleepThread. that usually fixes freezes at the strap screen, make sure you add the correct files as well (BX.rel, common5, common2, etc) when that happened to me it was an issue with the files themselves. another thing that can happen is you might have a corrupted iso, a friend had an iso that seemed to work but not with BeX, it just never loaded. she fixed it with a fresh one. i'll peak thru the codes again if these don't work for you.Edit: I also wanted to note that I did not add any more codes to your codeset Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. I saw you were having trouble so I tested them out myself using the hackless pm launcher, and got one black screen and one Exception DSI. I was using Brawlex v2, is that wrong? Anyway, hope you can figure out the codes! actually i used the v1 BeX, tho v1 and 2 use the same code to replace files. the heard of BeX is the module that loads the config files. wich is what changed most. tho that has nothing to do with the codes.i've been tinkering with it still. tho i think the black screen is more likely to be with an invalid file. that normally happens when something is over then limit (usually a common or other file that loads at start up), it will take time to find out exactly what is going on. i also noticed a few codes i forgot to take out, tho they wouldn't cause the game to freeze at start up, more likely cause issues with the character selected. i have a better understanding of the layout of the codes now. i might try with the wifi safe version, since that one was the one that was edited for BeX in the first place. I could help, just if I can get a Decrypted GCT to start with, as I don't know all the codes by heart, but if I had a .txt gct f Project M, I can easily help, this here is the problem, PM is not keen on releasing their work. they don't like their project changed. its kinda ironic. so there is not any way to get a fully decrypted file, i'm decrypting it by hand.Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. (A Project M + BrawlEx Template) Post by: DaDuckHuntDog on February 05, 2015, 05:32:22 PM Ok, so I tried adding the BrawlEx v2 core files only to the hackless (I use a Wii U) wifi-safe pm build using your codeset by itself and got a black screen. The only modifications to PM are: *root*\private\wii\app\RSBE\pf (like you explained), RSBE01.gct (your codeset), bx_fighter.rel (v2), ft_kirby.rel (v2), and common2.pac (v2). I remember you talking about replacing common5.pac, but what do I replace it with? There's nothing in the BrawlEx downloads involving common5, so am I supposed to replace it with something special or edit it? I'm pretty sure it's that file that needs to be replaced, since the codes look pretty solid. Sikura, just to let you know, your Brawl Vault thing in your signature leads to a virus website thing, you should really change it. At least, that's what Web Of Trust says. But anyway, great job on everything! Can't wait for a release!

GCT codes are not my department. Sirkura kindly volunteered to create GCT codes for the new update. Also, I feel the need to explain that making Project M work with BrawlEx isn't as simple as changing the GCT code and adding BrawlEx files. You need to 1. Make all the costumes work with BrawlEx 2. Change Mewtwo and Roy into BrawlEx clones 3. Re-arrange the slots on the roster. ect. Again, I recommend you just wait for the update. Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. (A Project M + BrawlEx Template) Post by: seijinshu on February 06, 2015, 11:46:10 AM oh yeah, the files required to add the ex slots are in the resources of the brawlex download, i think you must move the contents of common5 into menu2, as it has sc_selcharacter.pac, sc_selmap.pac in it. I also wonder if the sc_selcharacter2.pac is a required file in menu2.
As I like to say, there are way too many cloned files in brawl, and if we trimmed those down, we might go down a good gigabyte or so. Post Merge: February 06, 2015, 11:48:12 AM Guys, please. However, due to the fact that BrawlEx does NOT work online, playing online will most likely to result in a crash. One of my goals is to make this WI-FI compatible, but I'm pretty sure that isn't in my control (By the way, the "WI-FI thing" they use is called Wiimmfi. I have never tested WI-FI on Project M DIY. I read somewhere that BrawlEx was not compatible with WI-FI, so I never tested. You can give it a shot if you want, I'm just not sure it will work. Although I've never used BrawlEx, it'd be great to be able to use certain PSA's that I've seen along with the balance and characters of Project M (minus the extra stuff that many similar mods put in. Goku in Smash? Really?).
It must be a pain to go through all that code to update, though. It seems like the PM team doesn't want their game to be modified, but that'd be a little strange since they've been doing the same thing this whole time. In the name of balance, I guess. So it looks like I'm still gonna need help with this. Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. (A Project M + BrawlEx Template) Post by: DaDuckHuntDog on March 07, 2015, 02:50:08 PM As far as having Brawl 4 All with Project M goes, you're going to get some freezes regardless of what you do since it's designed for vanilla Brawl physics. I've messed around with it before, had the SSS crash, and many characters crash (Bomberman, Villager, Tabuu). What you can do, however, is disable the characters that crash and play with that, add some PM movesets and menus to the pack, or just play the vanilla pack. I suggest the last one, since many movesets are modified to work with the new characters, and the appeal of having PM movesets would be kind of gone. Also, if it's crashing on the CSS, just take the plain sc_selcharacter.pac and CSSRoster.dat from the pack without ANY edits, and it shouldn't crash. Make sure to have all the Brawlex files.
Also, I'm working on a Project M BrawlEx pack and it has everything PM 3.5 has (menus, CSS, etc.), just needs the codeset. If possible, I'd like to test your latest beta codeset since some 3.5 movesets require the codeset to function properly. Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. Though Nintendo Wii mods can support 8GB SD cards, some games were made that can not support 8GB SD Cards, usually early Nintendo Wii games can not support 8GB. And Brawl can not support 8GB SD cards, sadly. A 2GB SD card (or lower) is guaranteed to work with Brawl. If you have a Nintendo 3DS and have not changed the SD Cards around, there should be a 2GB SD card in there by default. Just swap the files on the SD cards and put the 8GB SD Card in your 3DS and 2GB in your Wii or Wii U. If you're playing on Nintendo Wii U, I should note that you have to boot up Virtual Wii Mode, then insert the SD card, because for some reason, then the SD Card won't be picked up or something like that. Hope this helped. - Ultra Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. (A Project M + BrawlEx Template) Post by: Sirkura on March 25, 2015, 07:02:34 AM I can help you with that. If it is prepare for a storm of hype Well sorta, i just realised i forgot to add the file code patch back in, but that's not too hard. i was working on this from 8pm to 2am xD so its not surprising if forgot a few things, i'll add them later as i get the chance. we also need to add the core files and animations to the PM menu, i'm not entirely sure what needs to be replaced on those, so i'll let Ty or someone else handle it. the codes should be finished tho. i took a slightly different approach this time. Basically i stripped out everything menu, character, and clone engine related from the game. then told BB to "forget all codes" then remembered only those codes and checked the original DIY GCT and found wich ones were still in there, and removed the rest that weren't. Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. (A Project M + BrawlEx Template) Post by: SmashAmass on April 06, 2015, 05:33:18 PM This is what I've gotten thus far by directly replacing the GCT codeset using Vanilla Project M 3.5 (Tested from both Dolphin and Wii):
*Air Dodging crashes the game when moving into the freefall animation (excluding Yoshi, who just sits in an odd non-freefall animation until hitting the ground again). *Character movesets and animations are unchanged from Brawl Vanilla *All Menus, intro screens, and amount of unlocked characters are same as Brawl Vanilla *When shielding from a crouch, the first frame puts you into a no-animation pose for all characters (arms spread straight apart, with character standing perfectly like a cross). *Items appear to work 100%, excluding the replaced Turbo item added in 3.0, which I cannot seem to find (Edit: the Spicy Curry is actually the Turbo Power, minus all aesthetics). *L-cancelling works, but only during the first frame before landing. Timing is very difficult to hit consistently. *You can still enter a game by yourself during infinite time *Stage placement is slightly different than stock brawl, with some normal stages being in melee stages, and vise verse. *All stages seem to be working. *Wario's bike apparently can fly, because when you get off of it, it moves up into the top of the map, and does not despawn. Also, Wario's costume is wrong on the CSS *Yoshi's Egg Throw shows the egg model with Yoshi's body texture, corresponding with his current color. Also, Yoshi's egg shield does not change color, along with his Side-B. And when more than 1 item is on screen, the egg changes textures again, although I cannot properly identify which textures they are. That's what I've come up with thus far. I re-read your post, and apparently you're stripping it down bare-bones, but I'm not sure what's supposed to be left over. The 2AM GCT codeset is not entirely stable yet. If I find anything else, I'll be sure to let you know Sirkura. Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. Keep up the fantastic work peeps, its coming together nicely :) Seems like thats a file issue, things like that usually happen when the cosmetic files aren't configured right. for the sake of testing things i'd try just adding 1-2 clones from scratch, no packs or anything. i wouldn't even add thier cosmetics, just use the default ones to limit any coding errors. i'll try it later perhaps when i get the time. just another note, if your using the PM vanilla screens, keep in mind choosing extra costumes and probably roy/mewtwo will cause the game to freeze. simply because the files arent added for them. you will need to edit the fighter configs and cosmetic files for those. Everything's running great except for when you perform an airdodge, with bex or pm characters, the game crashes. Hmm this could be code related. i'll look into it more soon. there are three possibilities. #1 the air dodge code itself, i don't know if its changed any from 3.0-3.5 i'll try removing it all together and see if it still crashes. if it doesn't i'll add a working one in. #2 there is a code that makes helpless fall into special fall, it might have a conflict somewhere in there. i can also remove that as well. #3 there is some sort of momentum data in the airdodge via PSA. i've experienced this specifically with megaman and goku PSA's, as they are scripted to do other actions and move in a unique fashion. (like megaman has an airdash for his dodge, tho the code halts all momentum making it move and halt at the same time causing a crash) Post Merge: April 07, 2015, 05:14:32 PM Just to help me track down the freeze, does it freeze right when you air dodge, after the dodge animation, or when you land? (listed mostly for reference): this code has a patern too they both start and end the same. marked in blue Comparing it to a previous codeset i had: the ending of part one is different (shown in red) tho the first part is the same. (blue) part 2 is hte same code, both start with 4A000000 90000000 and both pieces of code are always together, i might be able to find the beginning at the very least and work from there. starting that now. 00000008 is a huge lead, i found this in the PM 3.5 GCT i asume this is part 1: Update!: April 07, 2015, 09:16:47 PM This is definately one of the more confusing codes i've had to look for, but i think i got it now. i'm going to remove the melee air dodge mechanics and see if it still freezes with air dodge. hopefully this will fix it. and no worries, i'll readd a new airdodge once i get it working. As for the BrawlEX characters, they can airdodge fine too but when the match concludes I get an instant crash. 2.2 GCT (No Airdodge): Everything seems to work alright with both PM and Bex characters, but randomly I do get crashes at the end of matches. Now it's possible my file setup is just sloppy but I'll upload my core files anyhow if it can assist you Post Merge: April 08, 2015, 01:04:27 PM Here yah go: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/u9a6tbxjgtmiitp/AABo1OVtZ9Row5ESjn92aJska?dl=0 (https://www.dropbox.com/sh/u9a6tbxjgtmiitp/AABo1OVtZ9Row5ESjn92aJska?dl=0) Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. (A Project M + BrawlEx Template) Post by: DaDuckHuntDog on April 08, 2015, 04:54:59 PM I got the 2.3 GCT, added stage expansion codes to it, then used it for my custom build that I've been preparing for BEX+PM, no crashes related to the GCT. I air dodged with Shadow, Knuckles, Roy, Young Link, and Pichu, no crashes whatsoever (can't test Mewtwo, Problems with my build crashing not gct related) I'm going to test 3.5 special features now.
EDIT: All-Star works with BrawlEX Characters! YES!!! The Stamina modes seem to be absent though... (It's where input assist is, right? with the gct, it's still input assist...) Now to test Subspace Emissary! EDIT 2: This is probably due to Stage Expansion, not the GCT: Went into Subspace, Selected Great Maze, had less characters than I remembered, Chose Characters, loaded in save area, went to the map to go to the warp right of Tabuu, screen (excluding hud) goes black like normal, met by loud "BEEEP". (in stamina its not really used, originally you had a set knock back and a finite HP) i'll play with it and find out. (http://i959.photobucket.com/albums/ae73/zigheart92/00000000-8.png) (http://s959.photobucket.com/user/zigheart92/media/00000000-8.png.html) update!: April 08, 2015, 05:51:56 PM i can confirm stamina mode works, i fiddled with a few damage ratio's but didn't try that hard. i couldn't find the no blast zones, tho i did find standard knock back. also the result freeze seems to be rather random atm. sometimes i make it others i don't and last... lol... pretty sure the last one is dolphin related xD he challenges after every fight. update!: April 08, 2015, 06:06:56 PM another thing i noticed: update!: April 08, 2015, 05:51:56 PM stamina mode after you lose a stock you have 0 hp (goes to normal as soon as your hit) weird. wonder if it has something to do with the common2 or the wifi gct. (A Project M + BrawlEx Template) Post by: DaDuckHuntDog on April 09, 2015, 11:02:43 AM I use hackless StackSmash (PM Launcher) with a 2gb SD card that is loaded onto an unhacked Wii U in vWii mode, and as for the CSS, I used Ondo's 3.5 CSS (saves space for better CSPs) which I made compatible with BrawlEx. I think there might be codes missing for stamina, since the files are essentially the same and have the Stamina Mode text. I think the freezes might be due to the results screen and stock icons, I make sure my clones have EVERY cosmetic they might need so there's no crashes. And so I can play Classic mode, too.

(A Project M + BrawlEx Template) Post by: SparkyWaffles on April 09, 2015, 08:20:13 PM Using the GCT, I have successfully added Brawlex to Project M! I had to separate certain characters and rearrange the CSS myself, but it's pretty much working well. However, I'm having a few problems cloning Mewtwo and Roy. These are the results I got by cloning Lucario/Marth and replacing their fighter files with Project M's:
-Neither Mewtwo nor Roy have their custom sound effects; they both are completely silent. -Mewtwo's shadow balls are invisible. - I think the above might have to do with the fighter modules, since Lucario doesn't share what Mewtwo had above, but it'd be helpful to know how to fix this. I'm also missing the extra skins that PM adds, but I might know how to remedy that... Note: I'm using Homebrew Channel on console. Edit: Might be helpful to state that wavedashing, debug mode and the PM visuals work fine! Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. I signed up for email notifications but I haven't been receiving them so I'm sorry I missed so many posts. I will continue to work on Project M DIY for as long as I can! Oh... and Sikura and SmashAmass, if you wouldn't mind, I'd like you to PM me the GCT codes from now on. Many people have been getting anxious for an update and trying to make their own unofficial updates. I'd perfer if people wouldn't do this just for the fact that it usually requires us to support them with these "updates." Like always, I appreciate all your guys' support and help. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. -Ty Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. (A Project M + BrawlEx Template) Post by: Sirkura on April 10, 2015, 06:08:26 PM Hey everyone! I came hoping to shed some light on this project regarding the stamina codes. Im not sure if you guys know, but the stamina mode works perfectly.(at least it did for me.) The thing is that the stamina type section is completely removed when you go to the rules section at the top of the css in stamina mode, which You guys have seen already. but you can actually toggle stamina modes by altering the stage choice tab at the very bottom. Choose: type 1(Set knockback with blastzones), Random: type2(set knockback without blastzones), turns: type 3(Normal knockback without blastzones), ordered: type 4(Normal knockback with blastzones), and losers pick: type 5(Normal knockback no blastzones and fixed camera). the problem resides in the common 2 file, which has some menu graphics for the rules section. though im not sure what section of the common 2 tho, as i haven't looked in it at all yet. But it's no problem with the gct tho. Hope this helps!

Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. (A Project M + BrawlEx Template) Post by: Ghost Wolf on April 11, 2015, 02:21:22 AM No prob! i Took a quick peek to check to see, and i mostly seen misc data, but im 100% sure its the common 2. i took a common 2 from an older project m version and it changed to stage choice, then changed to the common 2 file from 3.5 and it became stamina type. The answer has to lie in those misc data's contents. i'll take a look as well.
Edit: I freaking found it! It's misc data 11! take the misc data 11 from the 3.5 common 2 file and insert it in your common 2 file and it should load up. Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. (A Project M + BrawlEx Template) Post by: DaDuckHuntDog on April 11, 2015, 10:50:56 AM I was just messing around with my build using the new gct, checked if 3.5 squirtle still has issues, and he does, but it's not as bad. For one, no moves crash anymore, which is good. Second, Pokemon Trainer shows up for all three pokemon and when you die, you play as the next pokemon. Charizard's down B is the pokemon switch instead of fly/glide, and GFX for Flare Blitz (side B) is rock smash... The problem is, the three trainer pokemon were heavily modified using codes so they could function in Subspace and normal matches and have different behaviors. Now, we just need to figure out how to apply these affects using BrawlEX.

Now, we just need to figure out how to apply these affects using BrawlEX. the pokemon codes are still in there. sadly i don't really know how to fix that one. you can probably swap it out for another PSA and it would work... the issue with pokemon is they used codes to completely seperate them via rel files. i don't think BrawlEX is set up to read them that way by default. tho things like rock smash and pokemon swapping should be run thru psa. not sure why that's not working.Edit: ohh i see you said the graphics for side B were messed up, not the attack its self? i know some psa's call on graphics in the common3 (think there was an early sephiroth psa that did that) it could be something along those lines for that issue. When you mentioned .rels for the pokemon, I realized I didn't update ANY of the modules when I updated the movesets because the build I use is a complicated convoluted mess of Project M+ updated to BEX 2.0 with stage expansion from another build with an adapted space-saving CSS... So I just started adding more stuff onto it. I'll try updating the modules, and report back.
EDIT: Had no effect, same exact results... Must have to do with the PSA working in conjunction with other codes, files, etc. I also tried replacing common3.pac, but crashed instantly on CSS... At least the pokemon don't crash, but I'd like if they didn't switch. Also, after exiting a "match" in training mode while playing as Roy (Clone) I got a crash, like the one's you've been experiencing, but this was the first time. BeX doesn't have single pokemon yet. as for roy that should be a cosmetic error. i fixed mine by redoing the configs and readding battle portraits. also i peeked at common2 with BB .75b the misc11 is actually sora_melee i know a lot fo PM codes hook into that file. i need to further experiment exactly wich section of it i'll need to patch. Anyway, I was about to post more about what I found while testing the GCT but it seems like you guys already beat me to the draw with most of it, especially with Red. He still appears in the background and throws pokeballs when they try to do their down B. I'm using PM's most recent module files, too, so there's probably a different file that removes Red. Anyway, as far as gameplay goes, I'll just wait until PM:DIY is finished since I'm having trouble fully transferring just PM. I'm making a PSA, so I've really wanted to use PM's debug mode to actually see the hitboxes. Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. (A Project M + BrawlEx Template) Post by: Ghost Wolf on April 12, 2015, 08:08:31 PM So i had looked inside of the common 2 inside the misc data 11(sora_Melee) section, and there are 6 sections with the rest being Null. Half of them contain nothing(some have all 0's) and some are full of numbers and letters. Sections 1, 3, and 6 have nothing(6 is full of 0's, 3 has about one line of 0's, and 1 is completely empty),so it can't be in those. Sections 2, 4, and 5 all have numbers and letters, so it has to be in one of those, but i have this weird feeling it's in section 5, but I'm not sure. i would help further, but im inexperienced in Hex, so this is how far i can go. I hope what i found can give you a good start.
Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. (A Project M + BrawlEx Template) Post by: Sirkura on April 14, 2015, 02:23:24 PM i might compare the 2 sora_melee files to find whats different in them with a hex editor. (BeX and normal brawl) see what i can find.
Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. (A Project M + BrawlEx Template) Post by: DaDuckHuntDog on April 15, 2015, 01:46:20 PM Sikura, I checked the files the other day and found that the only difference between BEX and vB is the Section [7] (in vBrawl, it's null/unused) which handles clones slots and cosmetics on the CSS. Interestingly, according to my hex editor (HxD) the vB sora_melee is identical to the PM 3.5 sora_melee, which made my head hurt for a long while... But the problem is, the call for the texture change for stamina mode must be in sora_melee since putting the BEX file in did nothing to enable it, which made my head implode on itself... Let me know what you find, since this has been annoying me.

I was wondering about that. I've been kind of just lurking this thread waiting to see what you guys figure out. Haven't tested anything myself though. Haven't had time. Only have like 3 more weeks of school left though, so once summer hits expect to be seeing me more involved in the brawl hacking again. ;)(Although that Mario Sunshine Bonus level Stage looks awesome..) For that whole 3.6 issue... Additional costumes? No problem with BrawlEx Additional stages/ Alt stage loader? That's an issue... I feel though that the dev team won't be changing much of the character codes, but only adding the stage codes. That shouldn't be too bad to add. It also shouldn't be too bad to find the added character codes. Just comparing 3.5 to 3.6 and adding what is different to your codeset. Unless you guys are using a different method for stages... I haven't really been paying that much attention lately. :P Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. I'll be back soon if I need assistance i think i can get it working faster now with PM 3.6 i'll look at it later. i don't think the alt loader will cause issues either. besides if it does you can just add the SSS expansion and put the stages in. there is a new stock code, that may cause issues with characters that don't normally have a stock icon of their own, again i think its an easy fix, just need to add stocks to the clones. not much really changed in 3.6, its almost purely aesthetic besides adding new stages, Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. As for the bugs, no progress. Hopefully I will figure it out soon :( I'll be back with more updates soon Post Merge: April 21, 2015, 03:57:58 PM Alright, I've just finished a full test with Mewtwo & Roy Here are the problems I am having with them Mewtwo -------------------- Mewtwo is almost perfect from what I can tell. His only main flaw is that his shadow balls are invisible. I tried to fix it the same way I did in the past (by changing the "ef_mizuo" in FitMewtwo.pac to "ef_lucario") however it does not work anymore. A few other minor flaws I found were that Mewtwo's "hover" move doesn't work every time I try to perform it. This may just be because I am doing it wrong but I still thought it was not worthy. Also, Mewtwo's announcer call at the end of a match is "Lucario" but I'm pretty sure that this is a problem with BrawlEx and I have no power to fix it. If I can, please let me know. Roy -------------------- Roy seems to be okay but he has two major bugs that will often freeze the game and give the infamous *beeeeeeeep* everyone knows and loves. 1. When performing his final smash the game will freeze. I was able to perform it once without a crash but that hasn't happened since. 2. When leaving a match to the results screen it will freeze. Interestingly this also happened for me in training mode despite the lack of a results screen. All help is greatly appreciated. Thank you all so much for your support. -Ty Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. (A Project M + BrawlEx Template) Post by: Ghost Wolf on April 21, 2015, 07:51:23 PM Yea i had that roy freeze at the end of the match too. Was wondering what was going on. i noticed if you started the match, but don't move, then go back, it wont freeze, but a good set of attacks and movement and you get a freeze. Not really sure exactly whats going on with it. Never really tried mewtwo at all.

Not really sure exactly whats going on with it. Hmm... how interesting... I've never dealt with something like this before. I hope we can find a fix for this. I find it very interesting that after 3.5 we started having these weird problems even though Roy and Mewtwo's movesets haven't been changed by a whole lot. Is it possible that the PM Dev Team actually figured out some way to manipulate these glitches to keep people like us modifying it artificially? Okay, maybe I'm looking too deep into the matter... Regardless it is still very strange. Tomorrow I will test all the stages to make sure that there are no glitches. The platforms on the Training Room stage were impossible to stand on; you'd just fall right through. I'm not sure if this is intentional (why would they add platforms you couldn't stand on?) or if we have to find a way to fix it. Anyways, I will be back with the test results of all the stages soon. (A Project M + BrawlEx Template) Post by: Sirkura on April 23, 2015, 01:50:31 PM i'm already looking into mewtwo, i still have an older mewtwo psa to compare it with that works with BeX. i had freezes with his final smash as well. make sure final smash resources are set up with BeX. it went away when i made a completely clean slate clean slate for PM. result freezes also went away. atm the build i have doesn't freeze at all. there are a few other undocumented glitches, that almas pointed out, some characters can not pull off a wave dash due to the way they are coded in PSA. i'm not that good at reading the format so i wouldn't know what to add or remove. most noticable are mario and DK. i don't think they have a hard fall coded in, thus resulting in undesired results. (ex. DK lands and immediately sheilds instead of wave dashing, mario literally lands on his head >.>) i believe its due to the way PM codes the airdodge. specifically they have airdodge coded to go into special fall after its performed, then a second code forces that fall to become hard fall. i'll have to look into the codes i ripped see if their is any character related ones needed that compensate for it. although if there are, i do not know if it will be possible to emulate it with BeX. i'll update te GCT when 3.6 comes out. i probably won't fill out a form to apply (hate paperwork of any kind, do enough of it at work.) xD but feel free to PM me if you need help. you may also add me to skype if you wish, pm me if you want my info. i'll be working on a project of my own for a couple days. I am still very stumped. :-\ Hopefully you guys can help.
For those who don't know, here is a list of all the issues I am having right now: Roy crashes on final smash/results screen (I tried what Sikura said and it didn't fix it. Maybe I did it wrong?) Mewtwo shadow ball invisible DK uses shield on wave dash. Mario has no hard fall Thank you all for being so patient and waiting for this update to be released. -Ty Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. Both the airdodge and non airdodge versions.(except for roy and mewtwo having glitches) And im sure the jab glitch is Project M's fault. Just thought i'd add some feedback. actually PM's codes have a lot of IC constants you might need to add. like lucario has 2 jabs instead of 3, samus has crawl, etc. you will need to edit the fighterconfig file to change it. mario and DK are most probably PSA related. you need to find out how they have it coded, psa unfortunately is not my forte. mewtwo and roy i've had freezes but they mostly went away for me. result crashes i would double check the result screen portraits, make sure they have everything needed. final smash make sure the character has "fitcharacterfinal.pac" and the fighter config is set to "final smash = single" i'm not really certain what is wrong with mewtwo, still stumped on that one. maybe try using the older mewtwo PSA? another thing i noticed is Roy and mewtwo tend to crash in allstar more btw. (usually when attacks go off at the same time or the final smash breaks, not used) i a'm kinda wondering if its an overflow in data, meaning too much memory at once for the wii to handle. Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. (A Project M + BrawlEx Template) Post by: Ghost Wolf on May 19, 2015, 06:38:18 PM Alright! So today i was able to fix the jab glitch! Turns out that project M changes some of the bit variables used in psa. All the characters i added weren't project m style, so they didn't use the correct bit variable in the attack 11 and 12 sections in their respective fighter.pac files. They used bit variable 16 and 22, while project m characters use 16 and 17. All i had to do was change 22 to 17. Also some of the variables were misplaced. But now their Jab combo works perfectly! ;D

I may have found a way to bypass our Roy freezing problem, as i was able to use my pm Roy on my build. I need just a little bit more time to test though. I will message you all what i did when i am finished with the test.
Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. (A Project M + BrawlEx Template) Post by: 123123sora on June 04, 2015, 05:28:24 PM I've been trying to get this thing working for forever now. I've gotten the farthest I've ever gotten yet because before, it usually wouldn't even load the CSS. But now...
I've added two clones into the game, Lucina (over Marth) and Yuna (over zelda). They both work, their CSP's and such all show up in-game so I've got that part down. They also load up their costumes but then they crash when the match ends. so there's something wrong with the way i've set up results but i don't know what. I've been trying to find out what's wrong but i can't. It's really getting to be a headache for me. I'll upload the files for them and perhaps someone could take a look at it and see what I did wrong? Yuna takes up slot 41 and has cosmetic slot 110, while Lucina takes up slot 42 and has cosmetic slot 111. Lucina uses the default fire emblem icon and Yuna uses a custom FFX Franchise icon, which takes up the franchise icon slot 21.. Also is there an easy way to disable Yuna's down-b?? i don't want her to transform. It freezes the game anyway. https://www.dropbox.com/s/i5vhvopdfsfweut/Yuna%20and%20Lucina%20setup.zip?dl=0 (https://www.dropbox.com/s/i5vhvopdfsfweut/Yuna%20and%20Lucina%20setup.zip?dl=0) Please help me! I've tried asking a ton of people for help and nobody has responded. Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. (A Project M + BrawlEx Template) Post by: Ghost Wolf on June 04, 2015, 07:38:34 PM I am so glad that You posted here, as it helps with my hypothesis. I Am also having the same freezing problem as you are, and i think it's helping me see why i cant get Roy to work properly. It seems that one of marth's files(cosmetic, slot, fighter, cssslot, and rel) could have a bug that makes the game freeze after leaving the match. I hypothesize this because i have added 4 different marth clones. These are as follows: Thany Roy, PM Roy, Sephiroth, And even regular Marth to test. They ALL froze after a little action and Some of them froze after getting the final smash, like GamerkidTY Posted earlier, but i was able to fix that by either changing the fit final with other ones that are compatible, or just simpily turning the fit final off in the fighter.dat file.(Worked for sephiroth and was still able to do his final smash with no freezing.) Im not sure what the bug is, but somethings wrong with marth's files. I thought i had found a way to bypass it, but I was quickly proven wrong. And also, Zelda clones do the freezing glitch too?!

D-Do they?? it would be stupid if the only clones i tried were the broken ones!!! :( Is there anything wrong with my files though?? (Besides the thing in Lucina's results portraits file because i already fixed the numbers) I'm going to replace Zelda's files with a peach clone. I'll report back to you if it works or not! EDIT: I replaced the Zelda clone with a Peach clone... and it works!!! And the exciting thing is that Lucina no longer freezes on the results screen either. I truly believe this is because I removed the Franchise icon because the peach clone, rosalina, only has to use the regular mario icon :D so if you have any franchise icons try editing all of your files to not use them and delete them from all of your pacs!!! maybe that will work. Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. (A Project M + BrawlEx Template) Post by: Sirkura on June 05, 2015, 02:58:22 AM i stopped roy freezing for a while, made changes and it came back, thinking about it however, i actually think PM edits a few ID's for characters, there was a tutorial for making custom CSS menu's that pointed it out. perhaps there are errors with the mapping thus making it unstable. i'll test this later when i can. i havent had much time to work on this due to work. think the next day i'm free will be monday. as for result crashes, make sure all your characters have their battle portraits, it might actually be more helpful for you to post here (http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=65113.0)
The creater can then find any errors in glitches to fix if there are any, and there are more people to give help there. also i think zelda was a beta module. (A Project M + BrawlEx Template) Post by: DaDuckHuntDog on July 08, 2015, 06:36:29 PM So, you're working on 3.6 now? Cool! Also, did you ever figure out those character crashes, like with Squirtle, and a few others? I think it mostly has to do with the configs not being set up to replace the additional codes altering what the characters can do, but that's a challenge due to the needless secrecy of the codeset. If you need anything tested, let me know, since I know in detail how to properly add clones without them crashing, so we can pin down issues related to PM, and not just user error. Plus, I want to make Ridley have his own slot, too!
Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. (A Project M + BrawlEx Template) Post by: PseudoTypical on July 08, 2015, 07:13:39 PM This sounds really promising. Would someone be able to post a decent build for 3.6 with a few solid characters? I personally just want Ridley and Little Mac if someone's doing their own thing and just wants to share. Maybe Tabuu, Young Link and Pichu too if it's easy enough. (Unless building these oneself isn't too intensive, which I hear it is. I don't have as much free time as I'd like)
Also, how stable is this code with PM right now? Title: Re: [2.0 coming soon!!] Project M D.I.Y. (A Project M + BrawlEx Template) Post by: Ghost Wolf on July 08, 2015, 10:45:34 PM That's great news to hear. How's the progress on the 3.6 patch going so far?

Post Merge: July 08, 2015, 10:46:21 PM That's great news to hear. How's the progress on the 3.6 patch going so far? Sorry i havent had much time to work on it yet, i've been pretty slammed with work >.< qq working 15 days straight with no down time. i should have time wednesday to look into it. i don't see any major edits so far to the code, so it should be relatively easy getting this to work again. So, you're working on 3.6 now? Cool! Also, did you ever figure out those character crashes, like with Squirtle, and a few others? Plus, I want to make Ridley have his own slot, too! the pokemon there is a very very good chance they will need to be completely rebuilt from the ground up, PM basically added each on to a new slot as a new character, that unloads the data of the other pokemon so there is more file space to work with in PSA and such as i understand it. i believe they were working in the previous BeX build 3.02 if i remember. maybe someone more versed in PSA can check the differences. atm i'm not even sure where to start with it. (A Project M + BrawlEx Template) Post by: Sirkura on July 15, 2015, 04:07:48 AM bad news and good news, bad i got called in on my days off >.< however looks like i'll be free from the 19th - 23rd. i'll be able to work on it then. i'll need to scour the thread and find the notes i posted scattered around it, i might make a new thread all together simply so i can keep them posted in the OP,

Nah, I'm not very familiar with smash boards. + they already have unbound. I just mostly need a bit more organization. For instance I think I have notes on pg3 and p10 and scattered between them. A lot are quite important as they contain the formula for finding the codes. I was thinking probably Sunday I'll do that, and collect what I have. Probably make the new thread sometime then. I'll link it here so don't worry about missing it. I'll be sure to keep you all informed on whatever I'm doing. Actually if anyone would like to help set up the 4 config files for the pm cast it would greatly speed up production. that way I can focus on the coding. They all need to be modified so the extra costumes work as well as a few psa tweaks (like samus has crawl, link has rapid jab) Post Merge: July 19, 2015, 06:47:07 AM New thread is up, still adding things and reformatting it. but please reply there from now on, i won't be monitoring this one anymore. http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=74722.0 (http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=74722.0) expect more in the next few days.
