Yes you are correct.  Not only do you need the .rel in the module folder, but you need to import the .mdl0 model onto the character you put the .rel on.

I would assume they wrote a custom Css code that omitted the selections you mentioned.  You'll have to either edit it or replace it if you want the characters to pop up.

I just had a very simple request haha.  He's super busy, though so I don't know if he'd be up to something as large as making a whole new MGS stage or not, but I guess it never hurts to ask.

On a more on track note...Just to let everyone know the things I have to do for the next release are:

Increase the stage size.
I may mess with the camera and spawn zones.
Also I might add in some new platforms and possibly animations of some sort (this is a huge maybe >_>).

Well now that's not fair I've always been a huge Grey Fox fan!  I just think all the original Brawl cast were well done, however the work that was put into Grey Fox rivals even that of the originals I'd say and in my case trumps haha!  Happy Face

I'm pretty sure you have to manually insert it into the partition via a program such as WiiScrubber, which I'm fairly certain can be found in the tools section of the Vault.

Update time!  Mewtwo2000 was gracious enough to help me out with my breakable blocks dilemma! Now all I have to do is some fine tuning and I'll upload it to the Vault.  AWESOME 2.0!

More than likely I'll have to upscale the stage a bit to suit the breakable addition, but I'm sure no one will mind that haha.

Is that Mewtwo2000's pack?  If so that comes with everything all set-up for you I do believe.

If it isn't then you're going to need custom .rel files to put in your modules folder.

It's a good idea to never, ever downgrade your Wii.  It's unsafe no matter what you do and unfortunately you probably bricked your Wii.  There are, however different levels of bricking and some can be repaired.  Did you install the WiiBoot (I think that's what it's called) or some other rebooting program?


Edit:  Lol WiiBoot     BootMii is what I was looking for.

You're making the animation in an existing .brres right?  And under the animation file already there?  Otherwise you can run into all sorts of problems.

Have you tried using a different version of BrawlBox?  Maybe it's the version you're using that doesn't work well with animations.

Not only do you need to import the .rel over the character you're porting over, but you need to port the model as well.  In specific export the .mdl0 file of the character you porting and place it over the character you're replacing.

I don't understand why this would bug you.  .Pcs to .pac is a bit more difficult than making a .pac to .pcs.  At any rate just don't use the .pac for non-transformers, unless it specifically says otherwise. Also if you don't need the file just erase it.

You're going to have to mess with it's positioning data on the x, y and possibly z axes.  Go to preview of the platform model and click the top bone (the one below all).  You will then see it's position data pop up on the right.  Alter this to your desire.

Edit: Forgot to mention that you can turn it by messing with it's rotation.  Specifically if you want to rotate it horizontally, alter it's y axis rotation data.
