ASF1nk, I've been chopping bits and pieces of your CSS out and putting other things in (Like having white hands), but I've come across the final piece that's nagging at me. The background. I replaced the blue picture you used with a full transparent picture hoping it would bring back the vBrawl animated background, but you seem to have done more than just put a picture over it. What file would I be looking to replace with the original file from sc_selcharacter to fix this?

cool thanks man, you should check out some of my stuff...don't know if you use ike, marth, zamus or pit, but I have textures for them! Cheesy lol
Question: is it possible to edit the color of the background for the strap? I mean, as in replace all that white?
Those aren't anyone I really play, but I'll be sure to check out your textures! Always looking for more to fill up any spots. Also, no, as of now it's not possible to edit the background color. It's probably a simple hex edit, but knowing the location of where to edit is a problem Sad

wait it wasn't you I played on pokemanz, but now I know why I recognize your name! I played you in smash the other day from the brawl+ chat. Tongue You used falcon, mario and someone else. I used zamus sheik and luigi. RIGHT?!? Nice strap, how do you edit those? I downloaded yours btw, it's GRRREAT!<---(yes, Tony the Tiger reference) lol Wink
Yeah, that was me you played Smash with Cheesy You edit the strap the same way you edit regular textures, extract with ASH and edit the TGAs.

power stone reference?

And great strap screen. Im so using this >=)
Not quite. I guess it's actually kind of a common line in games, but it was actually inspired by "Welcome to the World of Mother 3" from the fan translation. I considered modeling it off of the Japanese versions text (An engrish joke to some), which says "Welcome to MOTHER 3 World", but it obviously didn't fit since I was going for some level of decency.

Glad you guys like it Smiley

Going to just straight up copy my text from SmashBoards...
---
Decided to try my hand at a boot strap since most so far have been pretty lame, and figured I'd make a Brawl+ themed one.

I would show you screenshots, but my capture card died recently (For the better really) and so, I provide near-perfect mockups of what it looks like on the console. I put them together with my materials I used, so it's quite close. However, the third shot is completely fudged in terms of font/size, because it was plaintext I edited and not a picture. Also, see if you can spot the reference in the last pictures quote

Enjoy and tell me what you think!
