I haven't really thought of that yet since I won't rigging (I'm really bad at it). I usually focus on finishing the model and then adjust it to a character to get rigged over. Mac is closer to Mario's height and Falcon doesn't really have eyes... I dunno, I'll think more about it later. Right now I'm just doing the new textures and remapping everything.
*kicks down door* I'm back sooner than you guys thought I would be. But today I've got an early preview of one of my new stages.
I had this on the barkburner while I was making Cookie Country and it'll likely be finished sooner since it's going to be simpler to make than the DK stage.
Argh, finally! Cookie Country is finished and released. I tried changing the lighting, but nothing worked out, so I decided to end the headache and release with the lighting I was already using. You can see the finished stage here, DL is in the OP
It gets an error every time once the importing gets to the actual polygons. I could never make sense of what any of the errors in BB mean, so I don't exactly know what's wrong.
The real background seems to absolutely refuse to import properly into BB. I've even remade it several times and used a number fresh models but for nothing. I guess have [censored] luck with any stage Kirby related.
To avoid any further frustration, I'm going to set this cursed stage aside and release a version with the Green Greens background instead.
I've already decided that I want to make a Donkey Kong stage next, so yaaay...
This is great man!! Finally a new interest in Kirby stages. The quality looks great and the gameplay layout looks solid. I'm impressed you made it from scratch. Good job man
Thanks, though I wouldn't say I made it completely from scratch. I used the KRtD models to make this, but the models were in pieces so I had to put them all together to actually make anything.
I honestly wasn't sure where to post this, but is it possible yet to hack SSE or the bosses? Such as in, replacing enemies & bosses, making different levels, etc.
With sound hacks becoming way easier to do, I got the idea of booting some bosses (Galleom/Duon/Tabuu) for Nintendo bosses...
Also, I've got a preview of the Crusade Announcer (aka me) up on the You-Tubes. It still needs a few tweaks, which are just some redone clips, then its ready to release.
Technically Petey and Porky are also done, but I haven't made a video for them yet. I really wish I could hack and replace bosses completely (Galleom/Duon/Tabuu), the possibility for changing bosses with a complimentary sound hack sounds sooo delicious. Moar Nintendo bosses plz.
