Try common5.pac and remove the en from sc_selcharacter_en.pac (the one in the system folder)

He said he'd prefer using the common5.pac file instead because of the file limit.

He removed it, if you want to why dark sonic 19 did this. (I'm guessing an issue)

I'm thinking you mean rename the sc_selcharacter within the system folder. You can do that with brawlbox.

Could you be more specific? We cannot resolve your issue until you are more clear about what your specific issue is. If gecko is crashing then try re-downloading it.
