I belive this is alright given the condition and reason, but the app has been updated with the following fixes/improvements:

**Corrected a few song IDs that were wrong
**Added cruel brawl (that went unseen somehow)
**Added sawnd file support
**Added support to work with adding songs to MKW
**added autohex (press PG UP to use), this feature will speed up a song but using it this way will NOT back up your original

thanks but how do you test the hacks because i want to burn it on a disc
not advisable,  you CANNOT test a hack without running it in the game
because everything will look fine...
until the game tries to use it and freezes because something small was wrong with it...

I assume you pirated brawl and are trying to burn it or are stuck on the oldfut method of modding brawl.... in that case, please buy the game and THEN try testing them on your wii

hello i just started this texture hacking thing as suggested by my name and i got the textures to work on the dolphin emulator and i burn a copy of it and only some textures worked. So i decided to load them from usb or sd card. So what do i put in after K:\private\wii\app\RSBE\pf\fighter i have the characters that i want to texture hack do i put the texture hacks in these files. O and i am using Gecko OS to load my brawl back up will to work plz help Cry [/b] [/i] [/size] [/size]

i am trying here where to place the brres files, i need to rename the image type (Image.Brres) or the image itself (imageBrres.png)? OR... i need to convert the image file with a program?

brres for what?

brres  for portraits contain textures, and should NOT have a renamed PNG file in it's place

if you are asking about the damage meter's portraits during a battle it's:

Hey there i have a question. When naming the FitCharacterXX.pac or pcs for riivolution do you have to place the _en in them and if so where becuase i just placed the files of a link texture to look and fight as saber but when i run the game and try to brawl it freezes. Thanks for the help.
no _en

freezing on a fitblahblahexex.pcs indicates the hack itself is bad - contact the creator of suspected file

Never mind I figured it out, its because I was using a 16gb micro sd card. Switched to a 2gb sd card and it worked like a charm.
yup about the SDs

if using gecko, you are limited to 2GB (because thats the max brawl supports)
if you use riivolution however,
you can use up to 32 GB SD

Ok so the filepatch is not working for me.
I copied the code so I know thats right, I know its loading the right codes. I know the folder paths and file names are correct. The stage hacks addon works.
K:\private\wii\app\RSBE\pf\fighter
I know the region matches the game.
It says codes found, all codes work besides the file patch. I've tried one already in a gct, and I tried to add it manually as well and its not working.
Any ideas?
did you add any hacks? are they named right? ( a mario hack with a file named "awesome mario hack (crack edition).pcs" for example,  is not a valid setup )

if ypu are only using pac files, you will ONLY see them when your online opponents pick them

well black jax is working on editing the whole sound brsar(via brawlbox) for fighter sound effects without injecting
File Patch 4 beta supports replacing the whole sound brasar<.<

so File Patch codes still can play a big role here

and some people may have the brsar, and a billion BRSTMS in their setup (like I do)

so even with wiiU being SDHC compatable,  you can go to like the wii menu and it will register the HC and can read from it, but when you boot brawl, it will say that the device in the slot can't be used, we COULD  make brawl SDHC compatable if we could mod the SD driver file on the disc to support SDHC then make a V5 FPC to account for that file, you'd have to swap the cards that way, but at least unlike riivo with gecko, while the mods are running, you can take out the SD card and hot-swap hacks and the mods still load, riivo locks the SD card and if removed mid-game, requires a reboot to use the mods again and will freeze when a modded file needs to be loaded, since riivo predetermines what files to load form the SD card and what loads from the disc before launching the game

and again, the codes can play useful again, but still brings that 2GB SD card MAX limitation again since gecko and SSBB only support up to 2 GB (file patch code makes brawl's SD driver load from the SD (which isnt SDHC compatable)



if you wanted to shrink it, you;d have to empty some slots you plan to never use, or clear some entries, BUT BRSAR fiels are responsable for more than just holding SFX, they also contain the brstm listing for EVERY brstsm the game knows about or plays, and weather they are surround sound or not, in addition it also contains loop-governing values, and if a brstm doesnt match this or is less than, will NOT loop in-game (brawl's brsar has these loop values set to infinite so this is why brawl doesnt have to have the brsar patched for audio hacks like other games like MKW and mario sluggers), RSAR files also contain sound banks (which to me are MIDI instrument samples)

black jax stated that he/she wanted brawlbox to do injecting/editing like sawndz, but better (so i assume that this will expand to WHAT we can hack (and auto monoify stereos for noobs that dont do this)

wiiflow works with isos from USBs
using the sd card for music plus hacks ive never had a brstm bug with it...
dont know if that is what u r talkin about...
i have about 500 wii games on my usb drive and the only game i play is brawl Im srs here
I was asking if it was working (without having to mod the IOSes (like mod IOS249 and 222) in order for it  to work))
and yet again, depending on gecko once again, also means the sd card limitation of 2GB comes back as well as support on SD isnt console-dependant, its the software that supports it that determines it since gecko and brawl (even USB loaders with ocarina) only allow up to 2GB, anything over that will register as "device in the slot cannot be used"
