wiiflow(a usb loader that works with wii U) can handle Gecko OS codes so not even needing to replace any files in the iso but the brsar(until v4 file patcher is done)
not have tested yet on my wii U only read about it since im waiting until repair stuff has been made so its possible to repair my wii U then hacking the wii mode if something go wrong
there IS a bug I experienced in BOTH FPCs, and thats that ANY brstm that is NOT created @ a frequency of 32,000, will randomly bug out, such as bursting into random static, or playing OTHER brstms when its not supposed to. i resolved this with riivolution AND by ISO injecting them all, my HACK setup it in total: 2.8GB
so gecko does NOT work for me (since with gecko, you cannot load mods through SDHC cards) not to mention i have THP hacks i like to keep, so we cant start de-supporting hacks because of limitations enforced by a new console, there IS a way to step up our hacking, since there is a modded game (that ISNT brawl) running on the wiiU
now if we could do that, but for brawl, we'd have ourselves a "riivolution V5" for brawl WITHOUT having to install cIOS's, and voiding warranty, since if we [censored]UP the wii mode on a wiiU, there is no priiloader to save your ass from that, and I am mentioning this hack stuff on wiiU WITH THP AND RSAR in mind

PW stopped working on it since Rii was released and working with brsar files but now we needing gecko os again(also for emulators or usbloaders)
so there is a USB loader working on wiiU WITHOUT needing to install cIOS correct? if thats the case, my video guide should overtake riivo (for wiiU owners) which is in the post above yours

hmm i didnt know about the music glitch ive always used wiiflow plus usb iso Also if Iso Loading is possible one day, than V4 of the file patch code would be coherent Also why is the Wii-u limited to 2gb SD cards in respect to hacks? i mean come on its the WiiU
gecko - thats why, when you mod brawl with gecko, the GAME is in charge of the SD card, and SSBB is ONLY compatable with up to 2GB sd cards, for gecko to apply codes, the sd its reading from HAS to be 2GB or less, wiiU can do SDHC, but the MOD launcher method TOO must support SDHC and because riivolution doesnt work on wiiU, there goes brawl's ONLY SDHC compatable modlauncher (on wiiU)
other than that, the wiiU software that supports SD and the wii mode supports up to 32GB SD's
not true it killing voice hacks since some usb loader works with some games so maybe it will work with a edited SSBB iso where you have replaced the brsar file or we just have to wait until file patcher v4 is done

you CANT ISO load on wiiU and with Riivolution solving all the file patching missingness why would V4 still be working in progress, not to mention that a hack-pak is limited in size that way, if a hack setup exceeds 2GB, it cannot be used, not to mention BRSTMS glitch up if they are not 32KHz when loading alot of them with gecko (most audio hacks are either 44.1 or 48KHz, brawl is 32KHz)
all i mean to say, is that when we end up modding files NOT covered by FPC, gecko users and wiiU-only users are screwed out of enjoying them, and that someone HAS game mods RUNNING on wiiU WITHOUT the use of codes and supports SDHC cards

thats great and all but that means only gecko method can be applied, since the IOS exploit doesnt exist on the wiiU (killing riivolution, and voice hacks)
however, again, if we had a way to run an SD driver, and "teach" brawl to load the hacks on its own, without needing the IOS exploit which mrbean35000VR knows how to write
Hey so i started hacking my wii today, and i got homebrew channel and riivolution(i only have an 8 gig sd card). I've got project m on my sd card but it's not running when i start brawl through riivolution. I've got a sandisk 8 gig micro sd card. Please help.
riivolution is not a gecko loader replacement, you need another file that takes the place of the usual file patch code you are used to seeing, known as an XML
well riivolution uses an IOS exploit that was removed in the wiiU version of the wii menu, so theres that... YET, people are still running mariokart mods on the wiiU using an SD driver isntead of an IOS exploit to load patches, so maybe someone will have to make a Driver version of riivo, OR we wait and hope year IF someone makes a new wii model-compliant exploit, i also heard that the wiiU wii menu also checks your SD card before booting a channel for unauthorized software or smash stack, and DELETES it from the card, and im finding this almost true since i had a homebrew-forced mariokart and brawl save export on the SD, and its NOW gone after I used the card with the wiiU to take mii portraits
Mr bean35000vr HAS a "riivolution" working on the wiiU, but since he is a MKW-exclussive hacker, we wont see versions of his exploits/works for brawl unless someone can get the source code from him and modify it to work for brawl instead
well not exactly as in looking for something floating around that works, but rather the possibility that one can program a homebrew app, that acts like riivolution, but does NOT use an IOS exploit to load the modded files, but rather "installing an SD driver" before loading the game so that the game itself is taught to load the mods itself (not gecko codes).
on the MKW hacking community, yet again mr.bean has figured out the way to loading his mods on a wii, new wii model, AND wiiU, using the smash stack exploit, which still seems to work on the wiiU.
the thing is, we could expand on who can NOW play modded brawl based on the system model they have.
i'm just wondering what people think about this possibility to brawl hacking

Virtual Machine won't open up at all even when I launched Window xp mode. I have Window 7 64 bit Professional.
please install net frameworkks mentioned in the guide and "install" smashbox with the download provided (do all of this on the virtual machine) and it will open
additionally, if you install with my app, you can run it from windows 7 without doing it frmo the virtual machine, and the virtual machine will still be running it fom the background
o man this progan sucks! I replace the sound of wolf to make hinata this work fine....but when I try to use ike the game crash..I Check all of my archiver to try to fix the problem....and I discover the trouble.....The sound bank of Ike is deleted!!!!!! this progran delete this......I have a save but for some reason I cant make the soun of wolf a sawnd....haaaaaaa!!! hours of work......is gone.......
you may have done it wrong, if not.. then you can always go back to manual conversion and HEXing, which HAS limitations and HAS to be exact on the sample count
Question about .sawnd files: is it possible to change the data it replaces? If so, how?
nope its structured TO a specific ID attempting to change what it replaces would BREAK the brsar becausse its NOT a simple sound inject, its the WHOLE folder inject, and if you change it, it will CHANGE the call IDs of those sounds and PSAs for the slot you change it to CANNOT be called
^ The files I linked up there still work. I just can't make a preview for them because I don't have the original sound recordings anymore, or a capture card to get them from my Wii. So basically, I need someone to put it in their game at least temporarily and record a quick demo so that it will be allowed to be in the Vault again o_o Does that make sense?
speaking of... my wii died so I cant really make previews anymore, I will try to do it through dolphin but I have doubts about it and my computer's power
oh i see, so im guessing stage sounds aren't stored at any specific stage file at all, right? which would mean people who make stages with sfx would have to include a sort of tutorial for how to install those sfx... sucks
