edit: I have all my textures/music replaced, but I don't know what the directory for replays is. On the SD card it's "rp" but I can't find the corresponding directory on the ISO.

thats because the disc doesnt contain replays, the rp data is in either the system memory (the wii/your vault data), OR on your sd card, to the replay stuff you just keep that on your card or the wii memory and launch the replay on the injected iso how you do normally

I downloaded an issun texture, and it came packed with a css and bp png file, i figured out where to put the csp (the common5.pac file) but i don't know where to put the bp one

That's not good.  In a similar manner, brawlcustommusic.com has BRSTMs that use 48000 Hz Sample Rates, but I've mostly seen that with Sonic-related games.

Yah I am pinned to use that because of the rendering methods I use in Sony ACID to render wavs, where brawlbox rejects the wav if i dont make it 44100hz, (I do have the 48000HZ option, but i grab 44100 and 48000 hz MP3s off of youtube to use in my brstm projects

but still, despite the way i make my brstms, the outcome is excelent on my end when i use Riivoloution To hack the music, I get NO peoblems, but when i hack it with Gecko, ALL NEW brstms i add to my card get the random distortion/static/jumping to other brstm music on the card.  so this is why I make my loops as small as possible

and I should add, that I had this problem when the card was near full (at about 400MB remaining) and using gecko.

and 100MB remaining on riivoloution.

there were some random problems i had where the thing was merging multiple brstms randomly or erratic playback if i did not let the rendering complete undisturbed.

try the format method and try again, otherwise have your card at least 20% free space (if the loading speed is the issue).

on a side note: if any brstms you got from brawl vault were uploaded by me, they are ALL in 44100HZ

audio quality is greatly lowered

when you get the audio file (not in mp3 format already)
be sure to use WAV Wink

I usu listen to the music at first to find a good loop point,
then I edit out the end, and import the WAV into Brbx.
after that, all I have to do is fand the perfect places at the start and end...
(some music gets annoying when repeating the loop end-start (not the entire thing)) XDD

most of the loops I do have an intro
eg:
Cows & Cows & Cows (looped)
Unknown Keygen Music (looped) <- first music hack (not the best loop)
I use the MP3 in my audio editor (SONY ACID), then when i got the loops (because all the audio i get are in that format), i mark the starting loop area (ACID tells me what sample that is), and render it as WAV , then i work on it with brawlbox, why I use MP3, well the downloaders convert it to a single-channel low-quality .wav, where it can convert to high quality MP3
just check out my gallary (mainly the audio that you wouldn't find a "looping point" for, such as the sparta one, or the hampsterdance one)
because I like to deal with, and seamlessly loop audio that either:

-Has an intro to it

-Normal songs (these, by an ordinary ear cannot be looped)

-Songs that others would have the song play past the first loop, then have that second round loop

-songs composed by rare

-OVERLY CATCHY game music

-Game music composed for games made AFTER brawl's release

but, does anyone wonder how long (in minutes) the brstms they download are? (or how they managed to loop it? (for hard to loop songs))

The FINAL Pack will replace ALL brstms in brawl and will serve as a hack meant for those who want to have a totally replaced brawl music experience.  Which will mark the end of my "brawl hax" project for brstms

Hi, I have been releasing audio packs that can fix up multiple audio problems in one go for you, add homebrew apps (riivoloution) for noobs, add multiple audio hacks, put brstms on the desktop organised for you, and fix crashing issues.
Should i keep doing this?, go the zip (manual) method only? or not release them in bulk for those downloading multiple stuff from my vault to use in just one download?

What is an SD-O-MATIC?
An SD-O-MATIC is an installer I made that uses the install wizard interface to put the brstm hacks in the correct folders for you.  Just choose your SD Card as the install directory and that's it! the installer does the rest, although you can delete the hacks normally, you don't need to uninstall them because there is no real installation according to  install standards.  Why I came up with using install creator pro was because I know there are still noobs/novices out there who want to use the hacks on their copy of brawl, so I made it easy.

Feedback about the O-MATIC and ways to improve it is welcome, this way (if I make another pack), I can better the applet/organization of the ZIP/RAR files

(I do not know if this is a valid post... but it has to do with my brstms and I also aimed to make it ridiculously easy for even the noobiest of noobs wanting to use hack with the homebrew channel)
I am releasing the packs with the RAR (NOT ZIP) as the main download and the installer as the secondary download (based on your voting)

Do vote, because it will determine what form i make the pack in first

releasing them all individually will result in "minispam" of additions to my gallary because i make brstms in bulk packs because I am a FAST ASS man

I recently made and uploaded a thp of my "fake" brawl intro that make a screech, followed by a completely different video clip.

My only problem is, that when the fake picture shows on screen, it looks notably pixilated slightly

any tips for me or how i can further enhance quality?

because the video it "appears" to jump to is high, but the fake scene isnt.

(  I am currently looking for my uncommon workarounds for stuff like this )

what im trying:
->Made a high quality recording of the intro and tried to time a snapshot there
->sharpen effect in editing
I am seeking help ONLY for the still images that get degraded when i make them, NOT the overall THP itself because I can get the higher quality in the video with the way i edit them in Sony Vegas

I updated my Wii, sadly, and no longer have Homebrew... but I only updated, because I got Donkey Kong Country Returns and it FORCED me to update, or I wouldn't be able to play it. I didn't realize that the retarded update would REMOVE my Homebrew Channel.

my wii didnt ask for update (its currently 4.1)  I used priiloader to disable the disc-based update requirement (when going online without priiloader blocking online updates, the game may block you from online gaming until you update....)
