On a side note, I've updated Young Ganondorf with a very very small detail. It had some weird glitch that made him purple once you had used his neutral-b once. That's fixed now.
I'll update him again at least once more. I suppose it will be when metals are okay. I'll give him a nice triforce in his hand too, just like Link.
Sweet. I can't wait. I'm also excited for those N64 Equipment Items.
Thanks, but I found out that I can't extract Navi's sparkles, quite possibly because they might be in CI8 format, as her body and wings are. On a Positive note, I completed as much as I could with Navi, and am now experimenting with how big her texture can be. I want to add that soft glow around her, as right now, she's only a ball of light. I'll probably upload this when Mewtwo2000 uploads N64 Link, or just give it to him to upload in a pack.
@Mewtwo2000, I was wondering, is it possible to import Link's item models over the Clawshot, Boomerang, and Bombs? (bombs are 2d, so I imagine at least import Toon Link's Bomb model over Link's)
I... did make a retexture for Navi to make her more OoT-ish, changing her more blue instead of slightly green. The only problem is that she leaves behind sparkles that I can't seem to find in the Motion.pac, and they're the same green-ish blue color that her body has. I lost the file for Navi, and I never uploaded it, but the texture on her wings is the same size as in OoT, so it's just a matter of rotating the texture and recoloring Navi's glow in GIMP and porting it into Brawl, but even so, those stupid sparkles... I can't find out how to edit them.
While I was planning to import Ganon to be used in a collapsing version of the stage, I did not think about using it as the Final Smash, cause they look too different... But... Hell, that's a challenge, maybe it works, and that would be beast xD
I think if the bones are the same, it will work, but if you animate the bones, it will probably work better. Also, would it be possible to swap out Ganon's boneset with Giga Bowser's?
YES! It is worth noting, however, that the character that this "recolor" is based on is taller than Adult Link. Try using a code in Majora's Mask to play as him, then compare how tall he is to the construction workers, or Mutoh, who is outside of the tent in Gerudo Valley in OoT, and in Mayor Dotour's office in MM on all 3 days, except on the Night of the Final Day, in which he's in front of the Clock Tower, yelling at the moon.
Yes, I'm a dedicated member of the Bombers. I'll do the comparisons myself and bring back some pictures, if you want.
I didn't know the other forms, I played the game when it came and it had the crescent moon O.o
I'll see about that xD
I'm back. I did a bit of research. The only reason why I remember the other version and not the Crescent Moon version is because I never played through OoT on N64, only GameCube, which is when they made the change, and it's been that way ever since, even on virtuall console. here's a picture of how it looks in-game:
Here are the textures:
Personally, I prefer this one over the Crescent Moon.
I'll release it as soon as it's done, and will include the basic recolors. I'm still thinking about including an alternate shield (mirror shield).
Which one? The Crescent Moon from the original release of OoT? Or the other one from all the other versions? Either way, I'd love to have a Mirror Shield! Oh, and I love that FS Triforce!
Would you please make a Super Mario Bros. 2 MenSelmapMark? I'm working on a Melee Stage Select Screen, and MKII is the only stage without a proper MenSelmapMark.
I want to remove some stages from the Brawl Page (STGCUSTOM 1E-25), but don't know how. Also, if I do remove those stages, can I still assign their icon ID to a different stage?
To be exact, the idea was a quick animation while spawning the characters, just before starting the match, and when on the desk, doing the transition to the second form, with the peach's castle in the background. One version with my real castle in the background would be included in the idea too.
lol. That's great! You don't think we share a brain telepathically, do you? But then again I'd be making stages if that were the case... In any case, you got me more hyped... again! xD
I thought of something for a stage while playing on your Dark Link's Room and admiring the transformation animation. I was wondering if you could do this on a certain SSB64 stage--well, not exactly a stage, per sé, but an area you see in the intro. I was thinking of a stage that starts on the regular desk in the intro, then transforms into the Smash Desk. IIRC, someone made the stage already, but the textures are kinda messed up in some areas, plus it's due for an update.
