1  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Music & SFX / Re: Music Modifier for PW's SSS Expansion. No tracklist, no frezzing, same effect. on: February 01, 2012, 03:40:15 PM
The lesson learned: Keep your codes organized, tidy, and updated.

I had decided to do an audit of my codes, because, frankly, I had no idea what I had in there anymore. In making my codes tidy, I noticed I actually had an old version of Phantom Wings' Patch code!

Thank you for your help. Your code works rather well actually, Just make sure you're using Phantom Wings' File Patch Code v3.5.1 or better, if other folks are having issues as well.

No, Again, It's all fine and dandy when I'm using one stage at a time (I've tried with them all one at a time) but if I use 2 or more, it does not load the game at all (No strap loader screen)

I have double checked, and I am fairly certain I have entered the codes properly. I am thinking perhaps uLoader is not handling them properly.

Here is my current code build, Another set of eyes may help where mine have failed :x

Anyway, there can be a numbering variety of problems. Are you making sure to write a new code for each new stage?

I am indeed. Here's what I've tried so far.

I have tried adding a single code for a single stage, and when I tested it, it did work.
I have tried adding a new seperate code for the 12 stages I want to add music to, But the game would not even begin loading. (No strap screen)
I have tried combining 12 codes (12x4 lines) as a single code with the same resualt.
And finally, I have tried using a code as the first line, 12 second lines, the 3rd line, then 12 4th lines. Which also didn't work. Long shot, a bit silly, but I tried.

I'm still experimenting a little bit, with other gct generators. I'm using a USB loader (uLoader) with a gct file, with the modified files all on the SD card, using PW's SSS expansion.

Wonderful! I had not thought to do this. This works perfectly.

Thank you very much for such prompt help! You have made me happy.

Oh boy I bet you all love people who's first post is in the help board!

I've been using STGcustom 2 for awhile, The wonderful thing from Phantom Wing and Eternal Yoshi, and it /is/ rather excellent. Most custom stages I slip in work just fine, but more then a few crash-screech on select.

The stages that work fine are stages that are just .pacs and tell me what stage they go over. (I can use the .rel from the STGcustompack in that case and it works wonderfully. Minecraft or Saffron Gym for example.)

However, Stages that come with their own custom .rel file (Such as Castlevania Clock Tower, or Tourian Gate) will crash-screech on being selected, Weather I use the custom .rel that came with them, or if I use the .rel from the STGcustom Pack that the stage says it goes under.

I am loading Brawl with uLoader, and using codes to load custom information from the SD card.
I am following the tutorial pdf that had come with the STGcustom pack 2, and am certain that the stage .pac files and .rel modules are in the right directory ( \private\wii\APP\RSBE\pf\stage and \private\wii\APP\RSBE\pf\module )

I think I'm missing something though, And I'm pritty sure it's a forhead slapper once I hear it! In the meanwhile, I'm on page 10 of the forums and I'll keep looking for a solution! If I find one on my own, I'll post it for folks in the future.

Thanks for reading this!
