1  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Music & SFX / Re: Random SSBB songs (Updated 21/03/10) on: March 21, 2010, 06:37:40 AM
Vyse posted a Music Guide that includes information on how to set custom loop points in Goldwave.

http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=9.0

Just scroll down to where it says --- With Custom Looping---, and you should find the info you need.
2  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Character Vertexes and Textures / Re: Thy Fair and Valiant Textures [Return, with 3 new stages *WITH DOWNLOADS] on: March 20, 2010, 12:07:01 PM
Holy cr@p! The Sea Stage looks a ton like Port Prospect from Dragon Quest 8! Where is that model from [what game]?

And a few other stages remind me of DQ8 as well. I was going to make some DQ themed stages, but I can just use some of yours, and throw in some DQ music to make it look all the more original. Good work!

I was looking for the cIOS Installer music. I didn't know the name, but now I do. Thanks for that. I would use your Brstm, but I previewed it in BrawlBox and the track doesn't have a custom loop point, so it just fades out, and starts all over from the beginning.

But I'll make my own loop, now that I now the name of the music.

5  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: New PSA Character -- Wisp! on: August 20, 2009, 01:16:42 AM
How about
So what is Wisp, exactly?  Well, (s)he's a conglomerate of all things wisp-like.  It's the Wisp from the Mana series, the Plasma Wisp from the Kirby series, even the Wisp unit from Warcraft III.  Not to mention it also can be the wisp from just folklore in general.

How about Wisp Wondertomb? Does that count? xD

I saw (replied) this on GSCentral. Nice.

is there anyway you can make a version that doesnt make shadows neutral b bring him back to the stage no matter what? it makes him broken and i kinda had intention to use him to play with friends rather than for fun by myself.

I understand what you mean, but there are 2 options:

1)Don't use it at all and take the fall, since normally, you wouldn't use N-Special to recover in the first place

2)...He is left vulnerable when he reaches center stage. Use this to your advantage. I found it a major weakpoint when playing against CPUs. Baseball Bat, anyone?

Sorry for not posting a changelog yet, but as I said before, 3.0 has a few things that might not be seen just by playing with him. Slipping occurs often (prevents spam run), harder to break, turn-dash may result in delay (purposely), and a couple of other weakspots. I don't want this to go from a broken character to a TOO WEAK character, so the advantages and disadvantages balance out on 3.0, in my opinion. Makes for great CPU battles too.

But I might make his Stage Homing not loop infinitely, who knows...

I might add this to my sig soon Smiley

...But I can't seem to find where the hell this damn sweetspot is ...

Try making a direct hit when your opponent is falling.

Thanks for understanding, Miacis. You'll get the big picture soon Smiley

And the invincibility is gone, yes. Damage is lowered, and limited to the first couple of frames and low knock-back. If you are too far, you will just dash right through them, dealing only 2% from flames, no knock-back.

im at work and am writing this fast on my DSi Smiley

@Miacis, I wasn't trying to offend anyone. I was only being descriptive and honest, without affecting a certain rep. Ask Picano or Jack for details. I'm sure they will be more than happy to explain. But I dont' see how that particular statement you quoted is an offense. I never said it was an admin to begin with. Tech glitch perhaps? -

My other CC Shadow 2.0  thread mysteriously disappeared, but what better way to release 3.0 than with a new thread. I have no time to write a changelog or take pics/video, so I'll just link to the article over at NB:

http://nintendobros.com/2009/08/17/cc-shadow-3-0-release/

If you don't know who CC Shadow is, then you've probably been living under a rock xD

I'll try to update both that post and this thread later today. Right now I gotta go to work.
11  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: General PSA Information on: August 16, 2009, 12:54:53 PM
I've done that before as well
I see what you did there ...

Luckily I had like 3 copies of that same file, with maybe 1 or 2 things different.

Here's a little something-something:

Took me a while to post that up because Phantom hadn't responded until about 2 days ago.
13  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Custom Music on Smashville Freezes Game on: August 15, 2009, 10:35:47 AM
My last guess would be the SD card got corrupted somehow, although I wonder how it affects only that specific stage...

Sorry I wasn't able to come to a conclusion. Have never seen this happen before, and it still sounds very strange.
14  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Custom Music on Smashville Freezes Game on: August 15, 2009, 09:07:19 AM
The Music Reset should have fixed the error...

When you used the Music Reset code, you had the File Patcher OFF, right?
15  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Custom Music on Smashville Freezes Game on: August 15, 2009, 08:43:11 AM
Hmm, so any music freezes the stage? As in, have you tried replacing different songs from Smashville with different Brstms? Also, does Smashville have a custom texture? Sorry for all these questions. I just want to get to the bottom of this. I've never seen this happen, so I really want to know whats up.

It didn't work... The code worked, but it didn't fix the problem...

I don't understand the part where you said the code worked, but it didn't solve the problem. What part of the code actually worked?
