For a while now i have been trying to use a custom css in brawl. I have used many textures and psas' before but never a css. I have tried making one in Cssorganizer but it always freezes my game. I have also tried using Asf1nks but it also either freezes my game or doesn't show up. I beleive i have used all the correct codes and put them in the right places. Some of theses being the css fix, the solo zelda icon, the giga bowser and company fix, etc. Anyone think they might know what i'm doing wrong?? Im srs here

It is most likely because it has a background and may be and incorrect sizing. I have also found that if I get pictures off the internet and use them as portrites they don't always work and often freeze the game. I suggest you take your own picture of the texture in the game and then use a converter to make it a png. Also make sure its dimensions are only 48x56. Hope that helped Smiley

First off i wouldn't use cupash method. When i first started trying to make csp's i tried cupash method and it never worked. So if you want to make a csp effectively i would use the brawl box method. First get your picture from the game and convert it to a png image by using a converter of your choice they are pretty easy to find off the internet. Then open gimp or photoshop or any similar program. Make a new 128x160 image. Then open your image from brawl. IF you are skilled enough with your program of choice what you must do is fit just your character into that 128x160 space. Then you open brawl bow and open commen5.pac which you kind find all over the internet and probably even on this very website. Open up char_bust_tex_Lz77 and scroll through the misc. data until you find the characters image you want to change. You right click on it and click replace. You replace it with the image you made in gimp, photoshop, etc. You then save the commen5 file under your sd card: private:wii:app:RSBE:pf:system. If you followed all of these steps correctly your csp should appear on the css Grin

Ok my problem is that i have downloaded all the codes in the needed codes section that would allow me to play as giga bowser zss alloys, etc. I put the codes in my code file and the purple custom screen in the pf/menu2 file and took the en off end. I have homebrew channel gecko os 1.07 and i have imported countless texture and psa hacks before. I just don't understand what i am doing wrong because i followed all of the steps and when i turn the game on and go to brawl i get a bunch of scrambled icons with no alloys, giga bowser, wario man, zss, sheik, individual pokemon, etc. Do i have to old of a code? Because I'm using the one that you out in this thread. Please help me because i would really love to use this character select screen but it just isn't working. If you could help that would be great AWESOME 2.0! thx!
