so basically, renaming the module reference for shiek to example ft_plastpase.rel, it will try to load both ft_zelda.rel and ft_plastpase.rel on the CSS!
it makes me thinking, what if we change CSS's Zeldaslot to load to 2 already existing modules instead for fl_zelda and ft_sheik + thats not big + that is BrawlEx together with the edited [3][15] + the PSA command somewhere in the FitFighter.pac, it will actually work if you are correct!

that was the time BEFORE the plug and play modules was invented, a whole diffirent port! the first plug and play module that was invented was lucario
saw your edit PW, do you think that 2 characters need to share the same Module? otherwise it looks like only needing the [3][15] plus some tweeks in the slot.dat
I don't think there is any similarity to the VIS0 files and stage modules. For that matter, modules in general are considerably different from most other resource files. This is partially why BrawlBox had so much trouble supporting them.
On another note, if anyone's interested in looking further into transforming characters, all I really know is that all transforming characters (except for the Pokèmon trio) can transform on demand using the PSA command 0C050000 (tagged by PSA as "Terminate Instance"). The code for 0C05 references assembly inside the character's module itself, so this command does not work for regular characters. However, if anyone's interested, the assembly code behind the 0C05 command can be found using the Module Editor 2 inside ft<fighter>.Method[3][15]
The code is nearly identical for all transforming characters and exclusively references methods and addresses in sora_melee. So I don't think porting it to other characters should be too difficult. On the other hand, I couldn't find anything determining which character they transformed into - it's possible that that kind of configuration could be located elsewhere or be determined by their Slot configuration.
wow! thats really great! I had my suspisions about that [3][15] when I ported special grabs to other ones when I looked at transforming character! but you found out exactly how it worked xD
however, porting that function to other character would be easy but porting so 2 characters are inside one module will take more time, not impossible but very hard and time-comsuning! will take a closer look at it later!
and PW! some question, can you teach me of how to port character with Article to the BrawlEx? I ported Jigglypuff + Metaknight (and a Giga Bowser is made too) but I would love to be able to do it with the one that has articles too!

Good luck with the Ganondorf rel guys! Did PW have any explanation on how to make a brawlex rel? I think the sooner the community gets rels for all the characters the better, so i want to help, or at least i will try.
he taught me a bit how to port P&P from NTCS to PAL, successfully made a PAL P&P lucario thanks to him. he said himself that P&P and BrawlEx is look alike except BrawlEx is easier than P&P so I learned that way!
but he didnt taught me when it came into Article offsets or the special ones D:
okay, I tried to do one with the ganon rel! encounter the same problem Dant had in the livestream, one needs to be specialized. I believe its a article :/ but I am not good with that, need proper teacher about how to port those "special"/"article" ones thats been done in the BrawlEx modules!
but it works when original ganon is on the field :'D *SHOT*

I actually thought giving ganon a try! but I have hard time to get stuff I need D: my Wiiscrubber dont want to scrub the ISO or the dropbox side doesnt work atm :x
im working on a captain falcon .rel right now. only a few wierd bugs to work out, think you could take a look at it pikazz? the only 2 Major problems are that it has is that when captain falcon dies, he stays on the top platform and...well stays there. game doesn't freeze though, you can still pause the game and quit. and the cpu will still try to fight.
the other thing is that his final smash freezes. most likely because the car is an article.
the other strange bugs are, if you use aerial side-b, he does some strange spin mid-air after the attack. if you shield, he's stuck in shield until you dodge. and his jab100 animation locks and loops itself over and over if you try it

No I used meta knight's rel to port tails over jigglypuff. I had to edit the module id and character id to port over jigglypuff.
why are you doing that now when you dont have to port over someone now when you can have one own, I do find that you need port metaknight over jigglypuff to use it as it own character in the CSS uneeded now. try to not port it over jigglypuff this time and simply using the module thats needed+all the needed dat file to your own character
sora pikazz thanks for the rel but it froze the game I thought this rel would solve the freezing when I used the rel for tails(meta knight) over jigglypuff. I think the pcs file for tails is causing the crash however, the pac was fine because I played tails in training mode and it did not freeze.
so you using a module file for a character (meta knight) by using jigglypuffs module? I know that was old school and old way to "clone" but shouldn't you be using metaknights module for the metaknights PSA now when you got the ability to add one slot?

anyway, with that piece of information, I actually created a Metaknight BrawlEx module! fully working and everything, I will actually try to aim to do Jigglypuff next!
