Damn 3ds Max. Damn Blender. None of the programs allow me to view and edit SSBB models in my laptop, and I've been searching on Google for 3 hours for a Vertex editor with no success So, what I'd like to request is a software that can edit vertices from basically any 3D file (especially DAE and MDL0s) so I can create my own robot with that. BrawlBox doesn't allow editing of vertices. And don't link me to a tutorial, 'cause I tried and there was NOTHING in 3ds Max. Does anyone here knows a good tool for editing vertices other than Blender or 3ds Max?
WEEEEEELLL the model didn't freeze. BUT it lagged (like usual) and only Flandre's face showed up rotated sideways on the ground. Plus, a vertex in the side of her face was stretched way off into the distance and the face was completely black. ...at least it didn't freeze, right? btw it froze when I tried to get a picture. :/
Great! Very nice progress! Well, I would have loved to see your 'Flandre' photo, but you said your wii crashed... I just wanted to see what she looks like, as Google give me tons of different photos that I bet that most are un-related to your character
That goes well, as I don't know how to rig skeletons to models... I had to redo my Homebrew model's bones (also in 3DS Max renders) ALL OVER because of this, and now all I'm waiting for is the instruction to rig the bones to the model, 'cause only the bones move, not the model
I wish to have a port of a Pokemon Trainer vertex over Snake. I was told that because Pokemon Trainer has less bones than Snake, it won't work, but I saw a YouTube tutorial that could trick Brawl into thinking that Pokemon Trainer has more bones than Snake. (I think the PKMN Trainer has 48 bones while Snake has 70 bones, so that could explain the guy's theory about the Wii crashing) However, my computers have huge proplems with extracting Brawl mdl0s (NOT characters from other games), as they export empty models and I can't do a thing because of that. Could you please port the Pokemon Trainer over Snake with the Bone Add thingy? Thanks.
Oh, OK. But I do have a question. Can we create any character with vertexes? I do not know a lot about this, I might start studing on this. Because I would have liked to edit a character (Snake preferred) so he could be like this character :
Is it possible to do this? If not, all the efforts in the custom models I did was for naught after all...
Well, I've seen many "GameCube Imports" on the Vault, such as Melee Zelda or Melee Young Link, so I thought this was possible to do the same thing with a character of a GameCube game... but I don't know... if we can't import GameCube models into Brawl, then how did those Melee characters got in the Vault (such as Young Link, Roy, Mewtwo, Pichu etc...)?
I just learned that GameCube models can't be used on the Wii unless given a Brawl skeleton and exported as a DAE in 3DS Max. Ah crap... my computer can't extract Snake's DAEs from BrawlBox (results are blank, nothing shows up for EVERY character in Brawl), and I would have an urgent need of Snake's bones for my model... but I guess this will never happen, since I have many problems with BrawlBox those times... :'(
