Hm, 3ds Max on my laptop crashes when I try importing a Brawl model. I don't know why, it's exported in DAE format but it still crashes... Guess I won't be able to rip Zelda and Sheik's bones by myself... Mario Facepalm

I just wanted to know if it is possible to take a Brawl character's skeleton, then fuse it with a model so the model would have a skeleton of the chosen Brawl Character. 2 of the 5 models I'm creating already have a skeleton of their own games, but I was wondering ; how to erase the original skeleton and put a Brawl character skeleton instead, if possible? Thank you. (example : Zero Suit Samus' bones over FF7's Tifa Lockhart)

Can I use an OBJ to replace an item? (NOT a character) My model is from the N64 game Majora's Mask, and is the fishbone guitar that you get with the Zora's Mask (forgot the name of the poor dude who dies Sad) Ever though of hitting a foe with fishbones rather than the BeamSword? Me, yes.

BJ, when I use your BrawlBox to do some ModelSwapping, I come across a glitch galled the "TransD Glitch". People told me to use some software called '??Taboo??' to fix the TransN bone when I import a model over another character (ex: Lucario over Snake), but it never worked for me, as the Wii always crashes after the stage selection screen. I was wondering... If I export Lucario's TransN bone and put it over Snake's TransN bone, will the glitch vanish away? (Note that I must rebuild Snake's skeleton from scratch after that) Could the new BrawlBox you're making for Christmas disable the glitch automatically?

Of course the names dont show. ... did you even bother to read the guide.? >_> Read that first. Then fix it in Taboo. You don't add bones to fix this problem. Also, stop posting multiple thread about this. Be Patient.


Yep. Did it for over 45 minutes. Though I read it here rather than on SmashBoards (I don't think there's any differences, though) I get through the Bone Ref section. In this picture : http://img710.imageshack.us/i/tabuupic.png/ bones are named, so it's easy peesy to find the one I must edit. But, when I open my FitSheik.pac (I wanna do a Zelda over Sheik model port), I go to where the bones are, and they all have the same name ; "No Model Ref Loaded" I dunno what this means, but I can't find my TransN because of that. Do you know why?

EDIT : Found it. It was because I needed to import a .pcs file  

EDIT#2 : Game freezes when stage is loading... Not working at all...  Im srs here

In my despair of finding a way to disable the TransN Glitch from a character port, I'm trying to find a way to disable that damn glitch. I tried using Taboo, but the bones' names weren't showing, so I couldn't do a thing at all... Sheik has 2 bones in the TopN section of the model's bones, Zelda has 3, so I added one bone to Sheik. Now, both character's TransN bones are in the 3rd position, which is needed to correctly remove the glitch. But wherever I try porting a Zelda model in a FitSheikXX.pcs file, the new model over Sheik has the TransN glitch, and I wish to know A WORKING WAY to remove it. Thanks.

Tabuu ain't working... Sad  The running glitch is still there and this angers me off that no one do ModelSwapping requests anymore, because I REALLY need it...

Someone talked about adding/removing bones and switching their positions in BrawlBox so the TransN could match the other character's bone. Do you think this might work?

Thanks! But when I port my Zelda Texture over Sheik's, I lose all of Sheik's original bones, thus activating the running glitch. Guess I must do the Full Character Fix for that?

I've got a small problem on my own. I was trying to do ModelSwapping, but when I play, the character moves oddly. She has what we call the 'Running Glitch'. One example is that she walks a few steps, then ''teleport'' back where she was before walking or she can even ''teleport'' into a pit, making the player lose a life. (in Stock matches). Those 2 things are examples of the Running Glitch. The jumping is 100% OK as well as the swimming, and when a CPU gets the ModelSwap, they only move by jumping, never by walking.  Does anyone knows how to fix that annoying glitch? WackaAlpha's videos doesn't even explain about that kind of glitch, and I can't seem to find the solution anywhere, so can someone help me?

Can you Model Swap Zelda over Sheik without the infamous "running glitch"? I'll really love to have, like, 2 Zeldas as the character I'm using over her has 2 different forms and since one of their attack is to transform, I thought Zelda/Sheik could be perfect for that.

Will the Model viewer be enhaced in the new BrawlBox that will be released near Christmas? I tried lots of tutorials, including hex tutorials to make things visible in the Model Viewer, and still nothing... I don't understand why, I did EVERYTHING correctly and I still can't see anything! Am I the only one with that problem?
