16  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: StupidMarioFan1's Stupendous Imports: Dream Team Luigi Moveset...over Bowser! on: September 02, 2013, 02:38:19 PM
@KTH: RatchetMario is female. Man it would be so cool if we could use her models. But we could make them ourselves IF we knew how to make 3D models.

But yes my sister will be even happier to see the Mario and Luigis by ApocHedgie released in Brawl.

You even enabled them on riivolution? And changing hooks?
18  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: What happens if a virus enters your SD card and you put it in your Wii? on: August 31, 2013, 09:20:23 PM
Computer viruses, just like real viruses, are very specific of what targets they will choose. If you download a virus and put it in your SD card, it is highly unlikely that it will do any serious harm on your Wii

Just like how downloading a Windows virus while running a Mac won't do harm, same with the virus and the Wii unless the virus is programmed for the Wii as well.
19  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: BabyLuigiOnFire's "I model import when I feel like it" model import land on: August 31, 2013, 09:18:22 PM
Me, I'm in the process of making Baby Mario. I just made him, but now I want to make his strikers outfit. Then I'll make recolors. I haven't started on the strikers outfit yet but I'm done with regular Baby Mario.
20  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: help with setting up fresh riivolution brawl hacks on: August 31, 2013, 05:28:57 PM
Well I think the n00b guide is pretty straightforward. It tells you where to place the stages. But if you're using riivolution, you need an .xml to get your hacks working.
21  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: help with setting up fresh riivolution brawl hacks on: August 31, 2013, 02:42:28 PM
Well the first thing you should do is something simpler like just getting one hack into Brawl instead of starting with something more complicated via stage expansion.
22  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: The Complete N00B's Guide to Brawl Hacking on: August 31, 2013, 02:41:22 PM
Make a folder called "codes" and put your .gct files in there. It's just like gecko.
23  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: The Complete N00B's Guide to Brawl Hacking on: August 31, 2013, 02:33:24 PM
You put all xmls in the riivolution folder
24  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: help with setting up fresh riivolution brawl hacks on: August 31, 2013, 02:32:58 PM
Well first, get a common5.pac. Then do what it says on the tutorial - replace what it says.

And to add stages, you must use a code. The pack comes with .gct files that let you use them. But since you're using riivolution, you need the ocarina .xml to use codes.

This is the code for the ocarina.xml

Code:

<section name="Ocarina">
<option name="Ocarina Handler">

<choice name="KPAD Hook"><patch id="ocarinabase_kpad" /></choice>

<choice name="GXDraw Hook"><patch id="ocarinabase_gxdraw" /></choice>

</wiidisc>

Copy and paste it into notepad and save as "ocarina.xml"

As for cBliss if you follow the instructions, things will run smoothly. I don't use cBliss so I can't help you with that

On a related note from a report by the same user:

Could anyone please explain what "Barrel" means?

EDIT: Either way, it's explicitly mentioned in the description that it shouldn't have a "barrel" report.

Eh, not a fan of Brawl textures. The propeller suit looks way too colorful and happy compared to Mario's face.
29  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: The Complete N00B's Guide to Brawl Hacking on: August 31, 2013, 12:48:19 PM
Correct. If you want to use codes with your Brawl, you have to download the ocarina.xml though.

Well you make your file placement the same as you would for gecko.
