I don't know how or why my old thread was locked when not much was said in there, so I'll just remake this here since I wanted to update the thread, but can't. -.o

The difference between the two files in this version is simple.

With Knee Up-Taunt Tech - Has P:M's original Easter Egg where you have to hold Up-Taunt during a sweetspotted Knee for Falcon to say "HYES!".

Knee Goes Hyes On Sweetspot Automatically - Just as it says, if you sweetspot a Knee, Falcon will say "HYES!" without you needing to hold Up-Taunt.

Both work without errors with all versions of P:M 2.5b online or offline.

This is kinda just meant to be a little easy-going discussion thread, but to all of the magnificent people here who can make their own models and rig them...How? Exactly where did you get the idea to do so? Where did you learn? How exactly do you go about it? Is it pretty stressful at times or do you find it to be a fun little project or challenge? Did you all take a class to learn it, or did some of you just start doing it on your own and were self-taught? o.o

I just want to know a bit more about what you guys do. Think of it as somewhat of an interview rather than a "HALP MEH" thread. Hence why I put it here. :3

Though if it's in the wrong place somehow, feel free to direct me as to where I should put it.

But yeah, what's the story, you guys?

So yeah, here's the story. ¦D

Made a request for AC Cloud with FF7 hair. Oizen was nice enough to take it up. However, his current obsession with infecting Brawl with several forms of the absence of light caused him to inadvertently half-ass it and leave it with tons of errors. (Love ya buddy <3) Fixed most of em. Thany, Nanobuds and DSX8 helped me with the rest of them. Both Cloud models used were from ramonM64 and the Crisis Core Buster Sword is from Ninka_kiwi's Modern Cloud.

And that's how our powers combined to make:



Captain Cloud Strife!



Oh and you can still use the 7-meat sausage sword if you like.

Okay, since the topic I originally said this in has vanished, I'll just make a discussion thread about it.

What are your thoughts on vertexes of Sonic characters? Do you think there should all be on Sonic, or do you believe the idea should be branched out and made on other characters like other vertex hacks do?

Personally, I believe that just because it's a Sonic character doesn't mean every last one of them has to be made on Sonic. Shadow, Metal Sonic, Scourge, Mephiles and Mighty are fine since their designs pretty much are begging to be made on Sonic. All of their looks are based heavily off Sonic or Super Sonic as it is. Silver is kinda eh. He could be done either way.

Anyone else should be tried on others. Tails on Fox has been done for textures a few times, but a vertex would be perfect. Knuckles? If someone were to do him, I'd actually say Lucario would be the best choice. Blaze on Mario was done by KTH, and as unexpected as it was, it turned out great. Espio possibly could've worked on a different character than Sonic, but he's in the same boat as Shadow and the others too. Espio on Lucario would be kind of funny, but him on Sheik would probably be the most desired. You know, NINJA POWER! And hell, if Sheik can be turned into freakin' Gallade, Espio can't be that far out of the question. Then again, Sheik can be a major pain.

Big the Cat on Dedede...lol. Jet on Falco...That really doesn't even need an explanation.

I could go on, but these are just ideas and suggestions I've seen from the past. It probably wouldn't be easy, and sometimes character size could be an issue, but if you can make it look great, then it's really worth it.

As much as I like Sonic and all, and even though Sonic is best main, I'm kind of tired of constantly seeing people not try hard enough to make a Sonic character over someone that isn't him just because it's easier than all the work it'd take on a different character. Wouldn't it be refreshing to not have every character from the series doing the same exact thing when other series that get hacks are over characters not even related to them, but still work and are enjoyed? You know, like all these well done Pokemon vertexes lately? Zero? Pretty much anyone else vertexed lately? I guess people just aren't that motivated or never get think that far ahead since to them, Sonic character = Sonic/Must be on Sonic. That or they use the excuse that it's easier and that every Sonic character looks like Sonic, despite that being far from the truth. Not every character in the series look so similar that you can mix the two up. Honestly, there's no way you could mix up any two characters in the Sonic series to begin with.

But I digress. This is just something that ended up coming out since Beyond actually mentioned the same thing once, and one of SDo0m's posts me think about it.

What do you all think? Any thoughts about this at all?

Wavestah here, how's it going? ¦D

I finally decided to go ahead and conjure up another monstrosity moveset to have fun with, and decided I'd go ahead and share it with you guys too. As usual, some may like it, some may not. In this case though, others may have a hard time figuring out just how to use it. XD;

Once again, this is a Sonic moveset. However, instead of doing one of his various transformations, I decided to make a moveset representing Sonic himself, that being whenever the gloves are off and he goes wild and all out. That said, this moveset is going to be a lot more speedy and hectic than the normal moveset. Puts up a good challenge to fight against too. However, this is the one moveset I've make that actually doesn't have Onslaught or Hyper level cheapness. The cheap factor of this moveset is solely the fact that you have almost complete control over Sonic's arsenal of rapid attacks with almost the single push of a button. (And a tilt here or there. ¦D)

So without further delay, I present to you, with the strong desire to avoid calling it Sonic Unleashed,

Sonic the Hedgehog:


FULL THROTTLE

Somewhere right now a Sega/Sonic Team employee is pissed cause he lost the name for the next crappy spinoff. ¦D

To get this out of the way, credit goes to Crush the Lone Wolf and SuperZeroSonic for the Sonic Battle moves and Entry animation. Credit also goes to PPXEXE for the original idea for the ground Side B and Down Air before I changed them and made them a bit better. (Ah, and Ftilt too I guess. XD)



Whenever you're doing what's usually Sonic's jog, yo'll notice you'll be going a bit faster than usual and using the running animation. You aren't actually going as fast as the "actual" run or anything of the sort. I made the jog that way for a reason, which will be obvious when we get to the Side B.

Since this is going to be a mouthful, we'll start off with the standard combo. Simple hit the A button three times like normally and you'll do the usual 3 hit combo, though the kick will work similarly to Ganon's Sparta Kick.

However, if you hold A during the second punch and keep holding it, this will be the combo you do instead.




Three punches, 3 kicks (The first two being the Sonic Battle ones), then the leaping spin kick (Also from SB), a slide in the middle of that, then a sweep, the two upward kicks of u-tilt, and then finally the usual side kick at then end.

Looks like a lot, I know...and it is. XD; As to be expected though, not all of these attacks will reach their destination each and every time just because you're holding A. There's a chance someone will get knocked behind you (Link >_>), or that you'll end up jumping over them during spinning kick. (Pikachu. >_>)  Also, if you let go of the A button anytime during it, you'll cancel the chain and he'll stop, leaving you either open for an attack, or ready to chain into a different attack.

Next is the D-Tilt combo.



First he starts with the sweep kick, which can actually be used continously if you hit A again instead of holding it. If you hold A, he'll spin in a full circle for a second sweep, then he uses his original side tilt which will actually pull you in closer, then finishes it off with the dance kick from Sonic Battle, Sonic Flare.



Sonic Flare also happens to be his D-Smash

Onto U-Tilt now.



The usual double kicks, hold A and you'll do a sweep to pull the enemy closer, then you'll go into Sonic somersault kick, Sonic Updraft.



Sonic Updraft is also Sonic's U-Smash.

Side Tilt. This one's a bit tricky at times.



The first of Sonic kicks will launch the enemy forward, and possibly a little upward. Hold A and he'll go into his Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku leaping spin kick. (This name of this one escapes me. o_o) After that, he'll go into his slide attack. Be careful of when he does the slide, as he moves for awhile, and kinda fast. I wouldn't recommend using this towards the side of a walkoff stage.



The slide attack is also Sonic's Dash Attack, but ironically the Dash Attack version doesn't slide as far as the Tilt Cancel version.



About the only thing different with F-Smash is the animation used for the start up and charge. I never liked how it looked when he swing his fist around like they're in some cartoon. XD

Onto the Aerials. Let's start with N-air




Sonic with use a Screw Attack-esque move, hitting you 5 times before knocking you off him on the 6th hit.

Also, as extra



If he hits the ground, he'll bounce up off of it. You'll be able to move wherever you want awhile bouncing too, so if you use the move again, you can bounce around everywhere. Not really sure if it's useful, but it's sure fun to do. XD



F-Air. Sonic Eagle.

Sonic basically performs a somersault kick downwards and spikes the enemy.



B-Air. This is basically just a faster version of his normal B-Air.



U-Air. Sonic does a weaker Sonic Updraft in midair.

And now for D-Air, SA2's Bounce Attack.



First Sonic rises up a little before launching down.



Once he launches down and hits the opponent, he'll bounce off of them, inflicting a weak spike on them. He also bounces off the ground if he hits like, like with N-Air.

There's another little secret to N-Air and also D-Air, but I'll get to during Neutral B. :3

The new Homing Attack.



I've managed to make Homing Attack lock on targets better, but only if they're infront of, above or under you.



He moves forward faster now and often even goes straight forward to the target. Other times, he'll curve a bit extra to get a dodging enemy, or change directions in the middle of the attack. However, when he uses it and someone is behind him, he tends to go too slow and is wide open. I thought about fixing it, but I think it makes a decent weakness compared to the next thing I'm going to explain.

Full Throttle has a certain feature that pretty much defines why he's considered overpowered for his control, well aside from the high speed combos anyways, but at least those don't always hit and do a feasible amount of damage.

If you hold B after using Homing Attack,



Sonic will go forward again with another homing attack. However, it won't lock on at all. If you hold A however,



He'll start moving towards to center point of the stage. (Or whatever is considered the center by him anyways. o_o) If you keep holding the B, he'll go forward constantly until he falls off the platform. Which then, if he goes into this animation for when you miss in midair,



He'll start going back to the platform again to avoid failing dying.

These same controls apply for the following:

N-Air/D-Air: When Sonic bounces off the ground, hold B to dash forward with a non-lock on Homing Attack, or hit A to shoot into the air once.

Neutral B's Landing animation:



When Sonic lands like this, there are IASA frames so you can move as you please, but if you keep holding B instead,



He'll start constantly dashing towards the middle point.

Air Side-B: Explained below.

Also, any time he bounces off the ground from Homing Attack.

That's about all for Homing Attack.

Onto Side-B. Boost, Speed Break, Light Speed Dash, call it what you like. XD



Going back to the beginning, this is the reason why Sonic's jog was sped up a little and switched to his running animation. With Side-B, Sonic will dash forward and run at intense speeds. Keep in mind that when you use this, you don't have to hold B, just hold the direction you want to go to. It's his jog, so you can use any attack you want while running.

Air Side-B.



Sonic will first charge up for a moment.



After that, he'll dash toward and knock anything in his path out the way. This makes a great KO move after one of the combos. Keep in mind that he's just dashing forward though. This isn't Homing Attack.

Also, if you use it while descending,



He'll dash diagonally down instead of straight. Also, if you use it just before you land on the ground,



He'll charge at forward on the ground instead.



Lastly, if you're holding B whenever it's over in midair,



He'll start moving towards the middle point of the stage.

And last (because Up-B is the same XD), Down-B. Anyone familiar with Hyper Sonic should be used to this move already.



Sonic's Spin Dash goes faster regardless of charging and has instant turning.

That wraps up everything for the moves, but there's one more little extra I added in there just for kicks, and for a certain badass Machinimator.



Hyper Sonic Animations!



I had a feeling this moveset would look good with Hyper Sonic's outfits, and this moveset is what Hyper Sonic was originally going to be before I changed my mind and made him...well...Hyper Sonic. XD This has Hyper versions of all the new animations used in the moveset, and works perfectly with the moveset. :3

There...All done...Now all I'm missing are some moveset and battle videos, but I'll worry about that later. This little project was harder than it should've been for such a simple moveset. But oh well, I'm done rambling. I'm so [censored] sleep deprived right now. Download, have fun, and kick ass with him or kick his. Beating this Sonic with a normal character is only slightly harder than beating the normal Sonic. Hell, I 3 stocked him with ZSS. ¦D

And thus here I am with another new mergification, after about a month without one. And for some reason it took all day to finish up, it was a lot more tedious than I would've liked for it to be. x_x

This time it's the Dawn Knight again, but instead of Xander, it's Cloud as the Dawn Knight! :3





This was made by merging Akari_Un's original Dawn Knight texture with the hair, upper and lower torso from BeyondYou's KH Cloud v2, the boots, shoulderpad and strap from Aafyre's Vanguard Ike, and my original vertex of the Dawn Knight sword, which has been lengthened to match Cloud standards. ¦D

Also, the following swords by Beyond were included as extra,

The Crisis Core Buster Sword, which actually fits him better than the Dawn Knight sword o.o



The Kingdom Hearts Buster Sword, which matches well with all the white



And Ultima Weapon that...just makes everything look good ¦D



And that's another little side project over and done with. For those who like the results, you're more than welcome to use it. :3

Decided to put this here too, since it's a vertex hack and all. ¦D



The second vertex of Wave, on Marth instead of Link, is now finished thanks to the wondrous work of Aafyre! Afterwards I edited the textures a bit to better suit my tastes and accuracy towards his look, and viola. :3 (Sheath is gone in game. Pictures with it are before I removed it)

Boring blabbering somewhat about who Wave is and stuff here. Skip if you aren't interested. XD

Now then, as a few of you know, Wave (Well, the name you people know him by anyway) is, rather than a persona, is the first and main character out of many others I've had for over a decade now from a story I've been making since known as "The Chronicles of the Twilight". No, there aren't any sparkling wusses in this, this was started long before they appeared. ¦D

While this also has nothing to do with Zelda, he does in fact come from a closed off realm known as "The Realm of Twilight", which he is the "titled" king of.

But going away from that, during side-stories, Wave tends to get bored and wanders off into other worlds to go adventuring, help some people, cause some chaos, or simply relieve himself of his current state of boredom. With that in mind, I've wanted to bring him into Brawl for a long time in order to do just that. It's actually the main reason I got into Brawl Hacking in the first place, so with it now done, I'm quite happy and satisfied. :3

But enough rambling. Enjoy. Anyone (Pfft, right.) interested in hearing more about Wave's story, mainly just the general gist of it, be sure to let me know privately. If you want to hear the whole thing though, I hope you have a lot of time on your hands that day, as that's gonna be about 13 years of story to tell from when it started up to now. And it's a very confusing story at times. XD;

I have him named "Wave Kusanagi" solely for the convenience of everyone who knows me by that name. While it is one of his nicknames, Wave's name isn't ACTUALLY "Wave". Just so no one gets confused about that if I call him by another name. ¦D

I have been waiting for this day for a LONG TIME. XD

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, with the great, and I do mean GREAT help of our dear friend Flammable... MYSELF! D<



My own personal vertex hack and texture of Wave for Sonic, marking my first out of 3 persona hacks! :3 (Credit to the original texture for SA2B Shadow's outfit goes to OizenX by the way, if you care.)



I had Flammable working on this for a good amount of time before, and he managed to do all of the spikes and bangs for me, the helpful little bastard. :3 He did originally do the pants, jacket and sleeves too, but there were some other issues with the model on certain parts, so I ended up redoing them myself.



There are two versions with only slight differences. The normal one has Wave's signature gold bracelets and anklets, while the other version has black ones that normally go with the original outfit.





His bangs do disappear sometimes though, but you'll hardly notice it unless you're paying extreme attention to him, or see him zoomed up when he's frowning. :<



Well that's all I've got to say really, aside from the fact that with me being the first fully vertexed persona on Sonic (Despite Wave not being a Sonic "OC" or fan character to begin with. XD; ) I can only imagine what kinda crazy crap some of you other people will end up doing. If you wanna use Wave's model, ask either me or Flam first, or at least give us credit AND show us what you used it for.

It's been a long time, but I bring three new mergifications from the Megaman X Universe! :3

We'll start off with Sigma's new build. Brawl Ganon's head fits Sigma perfectly, but his body is too fat. Melee Ganon's body fits perfectly, but his head is too small and the nose is...yeah. XD

So I mergificated the two along with using ShadowSnake's Bald Sigma texture too. :3

Next up, the main attraction, Megaman X over Samus!



As soon as I saw this kickass vertex hack by Uncle0wnage on Captain Falcon, I knew some people were going to ask for it on Samus soon, so I wanted to hurry and beat them to the punch by porting it over Falcon like I did to Master Chief.



However, since it had to be done, I vertexed his right hand into his arm so that he'd actually have his X Buster to shoot out of instead of his hand. :3





It took a little bit since I had to learn how to use the new vertex box, but it was definitely worth it. And as extra,



I went and grabbed Stoney's old ZSS texture of Aile from Megaman ZX, the only canon female Megaman we have, gave her the "Enhanced" body, and Talho's hairstyle from LookItsLink's hack to make her look...uh...better. XD

Due to him joining the Falcon bandwagon, plus releasing an awesome chart that shows who can be replaced with who, I decided to do something a lot of people have probably wanted for awhile. Now Ganon is a 100% true clone of Captain Falcon! Just as that damn Nintendo intended. =D

Well I have a bit of an apology to make to you guys. About Hyper Sonic becoming one slot? Yeah...It ain't happenin'. (Anyone who played Sonic Adventure should see the lame joke here. XD)

It isn't possible, or rather it isn't correct. His spines are shaped correctly, but they won't be enlarged, and ever worse, the model will glitch up and not work as it should in a few ways. Sonic will always be turning toward either the screen or the background when he runs, sometimes any attacks involving his spins will act up, and his head keeps twitching all over the place in some other animations.

So yeah, a one slot Hyper Sonic like the one from my Hyper Sonic moveset is impossible. Don't believe me? Try copy and pasting the numbers for his spines and back spines yourself.

HOWEVER...

If I can't make a Hyper Sonic the exact way as before...I guess that just means I'll have to make a new one using Super Sonic as my base. >:3 *mischevious plot haxification*

But from this point on, I no longer call dibs on making a one slot Hyper Sonic. Anyone who wants to give it a try, go for it. If you get stuck or confused on how he should look, just come to me. As long as you don't pester me or try to make me do all the work for you, I won't skullf*** bite you. :3

As you can see, Super Sonic does have his eyes changed for accuracy, but unlike Shadow, Super Sonic actually smiles and still has all of his emotions and faces. :3



Also, there's one more little bonus I decided to throw in for you...



Chances are if you're using this, you probably liked SA's Sonic better than Brawl, so why would you wanna turn back into that one for the Final Smash?

I love DasDonkey's Dawn Knight, but I didn't like him just being a Ike recolor, so I decided to change him up a little bit. Using and editing Cloud's spiked bangs, Vincent's raised cloak, and changing the sword, I've made my own slightly different version of him.

There we go. This is a full color pack for my Brawl Style Shadow, mainly to use with Silent or Mastaklo's Shadow movesets. I took the liberty of doing a quick Omega skin of Beyond's Zero. But that's not all.



Beyond changed up the animations for the Z-Buster in the Zero moveset, and made the grappler invisible, so I took the liberty of incorporating that into it as well.

Lastly, I made a CSP to match the ones from the Zero Color Pack v2 in BrawlVault.



I also added an extra BRSTM of the Mythos version of Cannonball, Omega Zero's theme.

This time it's the Dawn Knight again, but instead of Xander, it's Cloud as the Dawn Knight! :3





This was made by merging Akari_Un's original Dawn Knight texture with the hair, upper and lower torso from BeyondYou's KH Cloud v2, the boots, shoulderpad and strap from Aafyre's Vanguard Ike, and my original vertex of the Dawn Knight sword, which has been lengthened to match Cloud standards. ¦D

Also, the following swords by Beyond were included as extra,

The Crisis Core Buster Sword, which actually fits him better than the Dawn Knight sword o.o



The Kingdom Hearts Buster Sword, which matches well with all the white



And Ultima Weapon that...just makes everything look good ¦D

Wow, exactly one month later. XD I'll keep this one short.



The second vertex of Wave, on Marth instead of Link, is now finished thanks to the wondrous work of Aafyre! Afterwards I edited the textures a bit to better suit my tastes and accuracy towards his look, and viola. :3 (Sheath is gone in game. Pictures with it are before I removed it)

Boring blabbering somewhat about who Wave is and stuff here. Skip if you aren't interested. XD

Now then, as a few of you know, Wave (Well, the name you people know him by anyway) is, rather than a persona, is the first and main character out of many others I've had for over a decade now from a story I've been making since known as "The Chronicles of the Twilight". No, there aren't any sparkling wusses in this, this was started long before they appeared. ¦D

While this also has nothing to do with Zelda, he does in fact come from a closed off realm known as "The Realm of Twilight", which he is the "titled" king of.

But going away from that, during side-stories, Wave tends to get bored and wanders off into other worlds to go adventuring, help some people, cause some chaos, or simply relieve himself of his current state of boredom. With that in mind, I've wanted to bring him into Brawl for a long time in order to do just that. It's actually the main reason I got into Brawl Hacking in the first place, so with it now done, I'm quite happy and satisfied. :3

But enough rambling. Enjoy. Anyone (Pfft, right.) interested in hearing more about Wave's story, mainly just the general gist of it, be sure to let me know privately. If you want to hear the whole thing though, I hope you have a lot of time on your hands that day, as that's gonna be about 13 years of story to tell from when it started up to now. Hey there guys! Wavestah here. it's been a lil while as usual since I released something, but here's something I did out of boredom, free time and sudden inspiration...And because none of you other people thought to do it, though I think I know why. ¦D

Sonic with his own Air Shoes (Or Hover Shoes if you wanna call em that) From Sonic X's Metarex Saga, episode 55!



Also comes in an alt outfit with the belt buckle, just in case you'd like that better. :3



Now there are two versions of this. One with spines that animate and the other with ones that don't. Both have their own FitMotion files to use for skating. The reason their different is that the animated's FitMotion has Sonic's regular dash animation instead of the Shadow one, due to it causing the polygons for the spines to explode for a moment even after changing them in the animation to be Sonic's regular ones. He still have Shadow's run with the skating, just not the dash.



The non-animated is how this was originally made, but I thought of a certain someone who once "professed" his dislike for Shadow's spines not animating themselves, so I made a FitMotion for a regular version too, just to please both crowds. The bone-edited outfits' FitMotion has Shadow's dash though, so the animations transition more smoothly as they should.

Sonic's moveset is included in the package with slight edits of adding in flames under the shoes for the skating, like with Shadow, and getting rid of the figure 8 that appears when he runs. There's one for Brawl, Brawl+ and Brawl-. The outfit with the non-animating spines can be used well with Shadow's moveset on Sonic as well. (Not included)

I have been waiting for this day for a LONG TIME. XD

My own personal vertex hack and texture of Wave for Sonic, marking my first out of 3 persona hacks! :3 (Credit to the original texture for SA2B Shadow's outfit goes to OizenX by the way, if you care.)



I had Flammable working on this for a good amount of time before, and he managed to do all of the spikes and bangs for me, the helpful little bastard. :3 He did originally do the pants, jacket and sleeves too, but there were some other issues with the model on certain parts, so I ended up redoing them myself.



There are two versions with only slight differences. The normal one has Wave's signature gold bracelets and anklets, while the other version has black ones that normally go with the original outfit.





His bangs do disappear sometimes though, but you'll hardly notice it unless you're paying extreme attention to him, or see him zoomed up when he's frowning. :<



Well that's all I've got to say really, aside from the fact that with me being the first fully vertexed persona on Sonic (Despite Wave not being a Sonic "OC" or fan character to begin with. XD; ) I can only imagine what kinda crazy crap some of you other people will end up doing. If you wanna use Wave's model, ask either me or Flam first, or at least give us credit AND show us what you used it for.

Quite simple really, Master Chief's vertexed model over Samus. Only takes up one slot and works like a charm.









However there is one teensy little thing I forgot to count on. :<



Grabification. This is very minor and not a big deal, but grab range will be that of a normal play due to the grappler beam not reaching out like it should on the ground. However it still works perfectly in the air. You can still grab and throw with no problem though.

I'll keep this one short and sweet. I made some recolors for the new Cloud release, along with CSPs, battle portraits and a new icon to go along with them. There's Red, Blue, Green, Yellow/Gold, and Black.

Everything is already put together for you. The only things you need to add yourself are the CSPs for the actual CSS and the icon. Rather than replacing the pictures one by one, use the MiscData[33].brres in the rar and replace the original in your common5.pac or sc_character.pac that has Ike's CSPs. (For those who don't know for whatever reason, it's in the char_tex_bust_lz77)

With the icon, just replace Ike's in MiscData[70] (No, it's not in the char_tex_bust_lz77). It'll be MenSelchrChrFace.034.

...Over 13 hours straight of fumbling around with Sonic's Fitmotion and testing out the accuracy of the outfits, plus messing with Sonic's Final Smash file have led up to this...Ya'll better be grateful dammit, because I'm seriously grumpy from taking to time to actually make this. XD




I'll get straight to the point. I've made a Hyper Sonic FitMotion to go with my Hyper Sonic moveset. I also made a 100% complete version of a Hyper Sonic Final Smash. He has his correct spines, his eyes are showing, and he still has his stars. No random blackness or anything.





But some people, myself included, wanted to have alternate colors for Hyper, since he's supposed to flash different colors, but can't in Brawl. Well now Hyper comes in every fruity color and this morning's Lucky Charms. Have a looksee. :3



But why stop there? You guys know I also made a Hyper Shadow before...Well he's in here as well, with alternate colors and his own "Hyper Shadow" Final Smash as well.









So to recap, this download includes the following:

But yeah, there's only one instance where for a split second you'll see them return to Normal Sonic's, and that's when you're fighting...this guy. XD





Captain Falcon's sexy manliness Falcon Dive makes Sonic's spines return to normal during the time he's grabbed, but they'll turn back to Hyper's after the mandatory "YES!".

Well someone over in my Hyper Sonic thread pleaded me to make them a Hyper Shadow. Basically take Hyper Sonic and give him the Shadow qualities and such from my recently done fixed Shadow. I was rather reluctant about it at first, bu then I decided to go on with it, and before you knew it, I even did my own Super Shadow. Nothing against Oizen, but Super Shadow does NOT have red on his back. XD

So I literally combined my Shadow texture with my Hyper Sonic texture and made both Super and Hyper Shadow, and as a little extra gift, I included a edited version of the old Shadow FitMotion so that he'd be floating and such instead of skating. Have a look, download and enjoy :3

Sonic Got All The Super Emeralds!


Now Sonic Can Change Into Hyper Sonic!


Well after a lot of annoying problems, I FINALLY got my Hyper Sonic texture to work on Super Sonic! =D the only thing that didn't work this time were the eyes, so instead of making them blue, I just had there be no pupils. I was against it at first, but it actually works quite nicely. :3

Well with help from Mewtwo_2000 over at Smashboards in the Workshop, we've FINALLY got a perfect Shadow with perfect shoes. Well, at least to say the only way for it to get better than this would be to somehow hack Shadow's actual shoes onto Sonic's model, but we all know that ain't happenin'. XD



These shoes now blend the white it perfectly, even when you look up close to it.



Of course, unless you look on the opposite side of the camera with the Unrestricted Camera code. XD Also I got rid of that rocket on his toe so the shoes wouldn't look so weird. :3



And the shoes look great on almost every level in the game. The only ones where the stripe will show up slightly are the darker, less lighten stages. Even then though, it's only noticeable if you're looking REALLY close.

Yes, the Final Smash of irony. Why irony? Because I've been fumbling around all night and morning without any sleep trying to figure out a way to get Super Sonic to look like my Hyper Sonic since Mastaklo got him to look completely like Super Shadow. No yellow glow taking over the texture or anything. I of coursed asked him ahead of time how he did it, and he didn't want to tell me. Then gave me some useless hint, being "material editing". That was rather useless, so I asked BSZ instead and he told me to replace Super's model with normal Sonic's and change the textures. The game froze from the file being too large. After much screwing around, I finally came to an end result...Dark Super Sonic. >_>;

There are two "FitSonicFinal"'s in the rar. one has the glow with the stars and everything, while the other doesn't. The one you see in these pictures is the one that doesn't. I was only going to release the one without it, but i knew there would be a great chance of people whining that it looks weird playing as him without it.

Now people have always protested that Sonic's Brawl outfits suck since they only have different color wristbands and not actually different color Sonics. As such, I've seen that someone (M&SG) made his own red and green Sonic ages and ages ago, but on normal sonic without the wristbands, which still bothered me. Thus I decided to make these about a month back. All of Sonic's outfits with proper colored and wristbands. I got bored and decided I'd share these with anyone who might want em. :3

Normal Sonic


Someone else made a fixed Normal Sonic, but he was slightly lighter than Oizen's Soap Shoes Sonic, so I made my own by basically giving Sonic the blue from Oizen's texture. So credit and thanks to him. :3

Red Sonic


The red model's extra purple overlay makes this look odd sometimes depending on the level when you're close up, but he's still a nice red, don'cha think? XD

Green Sonic


Eye aside, this is simply M&SG's green Sonic ported to the Brawl's Green Sonic model. Credit to him for the texture. The mask on this one makes the head look lighter than the rest of the body on some levels. -.o

Golden Sonic


Not much to say here. This one turned out quite nicely. The gold on him matches the bands and shoes perfectly. :3

Black Sonic


This was harder to do than I thought it would be, but still easy. Turned out quite nicely. :3

11  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Shadow Plus - A Small Side Project on: December 25, 2009, 06:13:34 PM

Just to say this ahead of, the original moveset I'm using as a base, CC Shadow 3.0, was created by the one and only Jose Gallardo.

Now for some copypasta from Smashboards :3

I'm just doing my own little side project since I couldn't stand how CC Shadow was. It's like he was both broken and underpowered at the same time, at least for Brawl+. So I got rid of the broken stuff (spawn items, taunt heal, running causing damage), fixed some of the moves t work better for Brawl+ (mainly his standard combo, F-smash and all landing lag), and got rid of his cheap neutral B that takes him back to the center of the stage. Plus decreased his speed from however high ti was down to 4 and raised his stopping velocity for less of a slide, but still some.

At the point I am now, I basically have an actual balanced CC Shadow 3.0 that works great in Brawl+ GSH2...now I'm stuck because I'm thinking of what new moves to do. I like him as he is, but I'm sure it won't be enough for other people, so I at least want to start with the specials first. Down B will stay the same and I might make Up-B teleport, though it'll still be the same. I'm not sure with to do with air Neutral-B or Side-B. I also added in, took out and fixed certain sounds and graphics wherever I saw necessary. (Nono, not flashy stuff.) Shadow won't talk so we aren't playing as him a Shadow with Sonic's voice. He still has his death and FS voice clips, but that can't be helped. Oh, and he has a new Up-taunt from Mastalko's animation, so I added some gfx and sfx to that to make it cooler.

Basically I'm going to same route I did when I made Hyper Sonic, except this one is balanced. XD If you or anybody else has any suggestions, be sure to let me know so I can help out with all of this, and so we all can have a Shadow who isn't freakin' cheap or annoyingly underpowered. :3

This texture is a very slight edit and merge of Marvin's and Kurobit's temporary one. The shoes and stripe on the lowest spine are what's changed. I just did it to satisfy myself with a slightly more accurate Shadow, though the band on the shoe still can't be made to blend in with the rest of it no matter what. XD;;

I'll upload it if anyone wants me to though. :3

12  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Hyper Sonic: (02/18) Complete Hyper Sonic Pack (FINAL UPDATE) on: December 14, 2009, 11:27:23 AM
I'm sure all of us Sonic fans from the Genesis era remember Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Get all the Chaos Emeralds and you turn Super, but get all the Super Emeralds and you obtain the form too powerful to ever appear again. Ladies and gentlemen, Hyper Sonic.



This started out as a small little side project to grab all of the abilities of my favorite Sonic movesets and put them in one. Eventually it became a little more than that, but still held that idea. You should recognize what moves come from where as you use him. Though there are a couple of my own in there too. :3 (Do not fear, credit will be given where credit is due at the very end.)

Let's start with his standard combo.

It starts off with a light electric hit


Then a punch that stuns the enemy to ensure continuous combos (O hai Roy)


Then a sweep that keep the enemy on the ground, or if you hit them while edgeguarding, they'll plummet to their doom.


Then finally, if you don't hit anything right after, he lauches a very powerful kick to the opponent to send them away.


Side attack: Sonic Wind

Basically blows the enemy away with a gust of wind. Can be angled up and down too




Low attack: Slide Sweep

This move is no stronger than it was before, but instead can be used rapidly to sweep your opponent across and off the stage.


High Attack

This attack now has properties similar to an always sweetspotting Knee. At high percentages, this attack is practically a guaranteed kill, provided you can actually land it.



Dash Attack: Lightning Spin

Sonic spins at his opponent infront of them, shocking them constantly until the final blow sends them flying away.


Forward Smash: Chaos Volt

Sonic lets out a large burst of lightning in front of him that spreads a great distance. This is most likely the 2nd or 3rd strongest move he has.



Down Smash

Sonic charges up brightly and violently before he spins in a circle and knocks away all enemies with great force. (Basically it's just a bit stronger now. Much better for killing, but still weaker than the other smashes)




Up Smash: Hyper Somersault (Somebody give this a better name. please? XD)

Sonic performs his attack from Sonic Battle, using an upward somersault kick to launch opponents into the air.



Grab Attack: Hyper Knee

Once you grab an opponent, press the A button as fast as you can and Sonic will constantly knee them much faster than he could before. This racks up a lot of damage quick if they don't get free.


Forward Throw

Sonic launches a powerful kick, sending the opponent flying. This is a definite kill throw at high percentages. However, there is one glitch only...It doesn't work against Toon Link. He'll just get damaged as if it were the normal throw. DX


Up Throw

Sonic uses his somersault kick. This is also a kill throw at high percentages.


Neutral Air

Sonic rapidly spins in place, landing consecutive hits on anyone near him. Plus, if he lands before the attack is finished, he will let off a small, weak explosion.



Forward and Back Air

Both of these moves now work like autosweetspotting knees. Forward air should be slightly weaker than back.




Up Air

For this one, the first kick should draw the opponent close while the second hit works like FAir and BAir. This move also causes you to float upward and can be exploited as a neat trick to fly back up to the stage when falling down after a jump or UpB.


Down Air

Once Sonic hits someone, the force of the blow will bring them falling down to the platform, where then he will knock them away with a small, weak explosion. Also if this move is used on someone already on the ground, they'll shoot upward instead



Neutral B: Light Speed Attack

This here is my pride and joy for this moveset. X3 I'm not even sure how I got it to work XD

Sonic will rise up, glowing as he spins and say "C'mon!" (At least for me since i have japanese voices. He'll probably say "Cmon! Step it up!" for the rest of you XD;)

Afterwards, he'll home in anyone near him the return back to the center of the stage. However, if there is anyone in his way when he tries to go back to the center, he will constantly attack them again and again until they have been knocked away from his path or away from the center. If used in midair, he goes straight to trying to return to the center, and will do the same thing if anyone is in his way. Also if he falls out of his spinning form before he hits the ground, he'll bound and create an explosion.





Side B: Hyper Boost

This move is a bit tricky. You have to use ti at the right time. Sonic will dash forward and pierce through anyone in his way. However, if you use it while running, Sonic will stop in place and use it. If you use it just as you dash (start running), then he'll go foward. However, the fastest speed can be obtained when you teleport(dodge) backwards, then quickly hit the attack. He'll go shooting forward across the stage. Careful not to do that too close to the edge of Eldin Bridge.


Air Side B: Starlight Flash

Sonic spins in midair for a quick second, then in a flash, disappears as a star takes his place and knocks away anyone near it.


Up B and all dodges: Chaos Control

Sonic will teleport upward, backwards, forwards, or in place depending on which move you use.



Down B: Hyper Spin

My second pride and joy. Just to say it ahead of time, I have Phantom Wings to thank for this move. :3

Sonic charges up for his spin dash, shining brighter as he revs up more power, then lets off. While the attack damage is the same, the spin dash is now always fast and even has instant turning. Plus you can move after the end instead of skidding off to your doom. This also means that fi you misfire the dash in midair, you can jump out of it instead of falling to your doom. Finally, when you jump during the dash, the hit will be similar to that of F/BAir



Up Taunt: Time Stop

Sonic will freeze everyone in time, leaving him free to attack them at his leisure. However, this is VERY short, and you're able to move out of the animation right after using it. Use that to your advantage and land however many attacks you can, if not just one powerful blow.

And last but not last my friends:

The Final Smash: Hyper Sonic Flash



What, you didn't think he was just gonna revert to Super Sonic did you? He's already Hyper, so why go back to Super? XD

Now then, for those of you who played S3&K, do you remember the move Hyper Sonic had that if you double jumped, he would cause the whole screen to flash and destroy everything on the screen?

If so, rejoice or lament, that move is back. Sonic will let out a burst so grand it takes up the entire screen and immediately annihilates everyone. Yes, there is no question that they will be knocked away.



Overpowered? Duh, it was the same way in the game. XD Also don't let the T-Stance in the pictures scare you. He leaves it as soon as the move is down, so there's no being stuck in place no matter where you use it.

Phew...that took all morning. x_x

Now then, he has a victory theme, but rather than it being his own, it's more of a personal victory theme I like to use for Sonic. It actually fits well with Hyper Sonic though. If you've played Guilty Gear, you'll recognize it when you hear it.

Also, the fit motion, use that one and that one only with this moveset. If you use any other one, he'll T-Stance whenever he breaks. He won't be frozen, you can move out of it, but he WILL T-Stance. Though Chaos' Sonic 2 Super Sonic stance should work fine since I took his can gave it Super Sonic's floating animation for the standing. I only did that because his Sonic 2 one doesn't slow down when you raise Sonic's speed, and consistently goes fast.

Sylvo: For the Sonic Boost, teleports, and plus I used his Super Sonic as a base for my editing this time.

My pals Ayzer and Chaos: For the Super Sonic runs and also for Air Side B. I used Fire Sonic's as a base for it.
DLoRd333: For Sonic Wind, and a few other moves from his Super Saiyan Sonic.
Droughboi: I got the idea for Sonic's standard combo from his Dark Sonic.
And last but certainly not least, Dchen: For making the original Super Sonic texture which I edited to make Hyper Sonic.

Now then, one last thing I'll say about Hyper Sonic...Do NOT be fooled into thinking he's almighty. While it's true that he can combo and KO like a mofo(_), he actually can die very easily if the attack is pressed on him. He is would have to be tougher than Onslaught Falcon yet not as powerful technically. However, an Level 9 Onslaught Falcon (Which some of you know is VERY tough since he combos like he's from damn Capcom), loses 9/10 times against a Level 9 Hyper Sonic. And that's solely because of how fast Hyper can move, combo and then land the finishing touch. Just warning you now.

(01/29): Hey there you guys! With the success of porting Hyper's texture over to Super Sonic, I've made an alternate version of the moveset that lets you fly around as Hyper Sonic for you Final Smash.



But don't worry, ol' Wavestah won't let you down. I decided to add in a lil extra just so it wouldn't be the same old Final Smash. :3



Alternate Final Smash: Hyper Sonic Flight

As we all know, Sonic and run at supersonic speeds. Super Sonic and fly at hypersonic speeds. Then what's to say about Hyper Sonic? Most people don't dare to think of it, but the most likely answer would at warp speeds.



Hyper Sonic will use the full power of the Ch--Super Emeralds and become invincible and surrounded by stars as we all know, and take flight. However he'll be able to move so fast that it makes everyone else look as if they're moving in slow motion, leaving them open for attack without warning.




Just kidding! XD While he does transform faster, once he does, everyone else will be slowed down in time. The other opponents won't be able to move at normal speed until you K.O. them, even if you've already stopped flying. They will be let out of it if you use Time Stop after your flight ends though. In case you feel like giving them some sympathy mercy. :3

Here's the stuff you need. I went ahead and put the normal textures and the FitMotion in again incase anyone needed it. If you've already to those, then all you need is the moveset (FitSonic.pac) and the Final Smash texture (FitSonicFinal.pac) and you're all set. Have fun! =D

...Over 13 hours straight of fumbling around with Sonic's Fitmotion and testing out the accuracy of the outfits, plus messing with Sonic's Final Smash file have led up to this...Ya'll better be grateful dammit, because I'm seriously grumpy from taking to time to actually make this. XD




I'll get straight to the point. I've made a Hyper Sonic FitMotion to go with my Hyper Sonic moveset. I also made a 100% complete version of a Hyper Sonic Final Smash. He has his correct spines, his eyes are showing, and he still has his stars. No random blackness or anything.





But some people, myself included, wanted to have alternate colors for Hyper, since he's supposed to flash different colors, but can't in Brawl. Well now Hyper comes in every fruity color and this morning's Lucky Charms. Have a looksee. :3



But why stop there? You guys know I also made a Hyper Shadow before...Well he's in here as well, with alternate colors and his own "Hyper Shadow" Final Smash as well.









So to recap, this download includes the following:

But yeah, there's only one instance where for a split second you'll see them return to Normal Sonic's, and that's when you're fighting...this guy. XD





Captain Falcon's sexy manliness Falcon Dive makes Sonic's spines return to normal during the time he's grabbed, but they'll turn back to Hyper's after the mandatory "YES!".

READ THIS [censored]!! (the [censored], read it) : In the pack, there is a file called FitSonicAltFS.pac . As you may assume, yes, it is the alt Final Smash, but it is NOT a FitSonicFInal file. It's a moveset. You rename it to FitSonic.pac and use it instead of the normal moveset. If you check in both the Hyper Sonic and Hyper Shadow folders, there is already a FitSonicFinal in there. Those are to be used WITH the Alternate Final Smash. They can be used without them of course, but they make it so Sonic/Shadow is still Hyper when transforming. Do NOT rename FitSonicAltFS.pac to FitSonicFinal.pac or the game will freeze. Rename it to FitSonic.pac and use it instead of the normal moveset if you want the Alternate Final Smash instead of the normal one.

I'm trying my best to find a way to make it so Kirby is either always Falcon Kirby or at least always wears the helmet, but I just can't figure out the right thing to do. I've been messing around in BrawlBox but I keep freezing the game cause I'm doing it wrong. XD; I was hoping it'd be as easy as replacing weapons and other stuff but...ugh.

Does anything have any idea what to do? T__T

Lazy me is lazy so I'm pasting this straight from Smashboards. XD

Does this deserve it's own topic? Maybe, maybe not. Doesn't mean I'm gonna stick it in a dead topic for no one to see though. ¦3 *SMACKED*

Recently over here KC:MM, Chaos and Kyzon finally found a way to have Sonic stand and run like Super Sonic. Spines up and everything. However the one problem was that since it used both a FitMotion and a FitChar.pac, you would have to manually add the correct data from the pac over to whatever moveset you wanted or it wouldn't work correctly. (AKA Sonic floats in place when running. XD) Completely out of boredom and free time, I decided to go ahead and do just that for what I have to say are the four best Sonic movesets made. Super Sonic(By DLoRd333) , CC Shadow (By Jose Gallardo), Mephiles (By Ayzer) and Dark Super Sonic (By Lexx and iChilla0). The original moveset pac by Chaos and Kyzon is there as well, as well as a Brawl+ 5.0RC1 version. Along with that, I got every "Super" related texture out there so far that best resembles the original and stuck em in there for your choosing pleasure.

In short, I bring you the crappily named Super Sonic Special Pack!

THE ONE SETBACK.

Except for the original and the Brawl+ version, all of these Superfied movesets will slide quite a bit. It's not enough to kill you 100% of the time unless you're just being completely silly or stupid, but it can catch you and even the computer off guard. I tried to stop it, but nothing worked. If anyone else can, be my guest. :3 Just goes to show you better know what you're doing when you mess with other people's stuff. XD

WARNING: The following post contains immense amounts of Captain Falcon, there fore this may impregnate you once looking, especially if you're a guy. Yes, especially. (Also don't take this too seriously either. ¦D Get ready for a GIANT wall of text XD)

We can't use Captain Falcon's full potential in Brawl. let's face it, we just can't. Why can't we? Because the immense manliness of how very being would throw balance right out the window. brawl+ brings us close to that, but not quite there. Then we have the past moveset hacks.

Fire/ice/whatever element with no changes to attack physics? Weak. Every move is a 1 hit KO? Insulting. Ladies and Gentlemen (And I use that term lightly ¦D), I present to you a moveset with enough Falcon Kicks, Pawnch, Come On and Yes to make your effin' heads morph into canadian bacon. The true power of Captain Falcon breaking all laws and physics with enough force to let him combo in vBrawl. Yeah, that's right. There is no true name for these "Moves" You may call them whatever you like.

However, I shall unveil this to you all under the name, Onslaught Falcon.

Trust me, you'll understand why when you start playing. Oh, and all you people who hate Meta-Knight for being higher on the Tier List than our Captain? Please. he can't even touch him now. Even a CPU Captain Falcon can beat him now without killing himself. He's THAT awesome.

Okay I'm done sounding silly XD Anyways this is my first creation with PSA. I decided to not release a ton of Betas and just kept working until I reached what I felt was the final product. Ah, and of course this isn't meant as a SERIOUS moveset. Just something to use to either kill time, laugh at, or...maybe annoy people who hate hearing Falcon phrases all the time? ¦D;;

Edit: Okay, let's see how many people I got Ninja'd by. ¦D And the lessen what i have to say, you may assume that all moves accept the throws have increased knockback.


We shall be using the Protoman/Blues outfit for today.  But since he's doing one, All Taunts have IASA frames and can be interrupted at any time, plus have Invincibility state. Side Taunt has been sped up so it can be performed at a similar rate to the other two, and Up-Taunt now has "YES!" added.

Standard Combo

Falcon Barrage: Begins his usual A spam combo, though it pushes you back until BAM! The sweetspot punch hits you and sends you flying.

Dash Attack

Freedom Rush:  Falcon charges at you at high velocity then slams his shoulder into you, and as we know from the Knee, all of Falcon's joints are filled with electric energy, thus sending you flying. it basically works like the Knee, only not as strong until later. Kills at about 80-100 and up or so.

Normal Attacks



All normal attacks have increased damage and a decent amount of knockback for kills in low-mid hundreds depending on the attack. IASA frames as well

Aerials





Knee: Always sweetspots no matter when it hits. 22 Damage
B-Air: Has sweetspot effect like Knee(always), only with fire damage, also 22.
N-Air: 22 Damage. Knockback increases greatly at higher %'s
Up-air: 19 Damage



F-Smash: Elbow basically works like the knee, only with 27%
D-Smash: Faster with on 17% on both front and back hits. Not likely you'll get both to hit though
U-Smash: Faster with 10 Damage ont he first hit and 15 on the next


B Falcon Punch: Faster, Stronger and have invincibility frames while in use. It's actually a bit harder to get it to hit when it's faster. Middair is the same as well. When landing while in the middle of a Falcon Punch in middair, the animation will go back to normal speed.




Side-B: Stuns the enemy, leaving them open for another attack for about a second
Air Side-B has been changed to be the ground Falcon Kick, working in Middair. No Freefall frames



Falcon Kick: Both ground and air Falcon kicks are sped up after the starting animation


Works the same, only has IASA frames after it's over so you can go into other attacks. Plus no Freefall


Other changes: Grab attack sped up for rapid attacks at 2% for each hit.
Recovery hits all have increased damages and knockback (And CF gets confused and says "Falcon Kick" when he punches someone after tripping)
Win Poses can be broken, just for the hell of it. Also have extra voice clips to them.
Running Speed gradually increases
Extra jump added

Unaffecting changes:  Almost all moves, both waiting animations and the Final Smash have extra voice clips added to suit the moves. (If anyone actually uses this and it gets too annoying for you, I'll just take that out :3)

P.S.: Sorry for getting your hopes up folks. It's just another moveset made to be fun, not a "Serious Business" moveset like Roy or Mewtwo. Brawl+ Falcon is serious enough, which is why I used him as a base XD Have fun!
