This rels PW nade port articles perfectly so there should never be any porting bugs outside of gfxs if facing the original char abd that is fixable with alittle trick zutox
A trick? We need the trick! Also, I did find that porting link over toonlink was a no go with the plug and play rels. It would freeze if link entered the battle.
It's lacking on good psa over snake in general. I'm not a big fan of the Deadpool psa, but I am using it at the moment because there really isn't any better alternatives. I'm waiting for the Bomberman PSA that was planned for Snake, but it's been a while since I heard anything about that. And we do have the plug and play rels for snake now so there shouldn't be a problem. I am using your Raptor over Olimar, though of course I tested him on wolf first to make sure I didn't introduce any bugs with the porting He works just like on wolf.
FS are suposed to be OP and since you will have a limited time i doubt you could kill a decent oponent 2 times.
Exactly. What you could do is is he has super armor, give him a x1.5 boost with no slowdown. If invincibility, then the x1.25 seems okay.
The super armor has a drawback, you take damage yourself during the FS when you beat up people, so it better be worth it, thus a lot of damage seems like a good trade.
Did you decide what his FS will be? I was thinking that surf would be cool as a FS, or raindance, who would make his attacks faster and more powerful. I dunno, just something I thought about
The sad thing about that it' not going to be over bowser is the fact that it's not going to be over bowser. Counting all characters made over marth and just about all the other slots, bowser still doesn't have a complete character change. So, that's sad.
The most recent batch of Plug&Play modules weren't tested as much as I wanted to, so it's possible I left in a bug or two. If the module is working for all other modes besides Vs., then that is most likely the case. I'll keep it in mind, but for now you might just have to try porting him over a different character.
Alright, thank you I tried porting a link psa, the dark link one over toonlink and it seems to work okay, until link enters the battle. If they are both on stage, the game eventually freezes with a beep.
After all those horror storries about finished PSA works that got lost when computers sploded and hdds and flash cards dying, it sounds like it would simply be safer to release a PSA as soon as it is complete. at least that way it would also be backed up on many many computers as people download ;P
Hmmm that's odd... Did you follow all of PhantomWings instructions by editing the .rel with module editor? Also, if possible try to port Wolf to another chr other than toonlink and see if it works
Yes I edited both the things it said I needed to edit, and at first I didn't do it correctly so it didn't work but after I realized what I did wrong I fixed it and it does work. Just not in a normal brawl. Training is fine, FS and all works nice. But as soon as I choose a stage in brawl, that's when it freezes. I'll try another character and see what happens.
I am currently giving the plug and play wolf rel a go and I am trying it on toonlink. I can get the character, in this case either wolverine or Lloyd working fine as long as it is training, but when I try starting a brawl, the screen will just silent freeze. Any idea what causes this?
At the moment I'm strongly considering Ike or Marth whichever suits the purpose better I'll look into it pretty soon, even though personally I feel the Ares revamp would yield a more promising end product. Still open to any attack suggestions with Ares anything you feel suits a "War God" and Final Smash suggestions. The one I'm planning on making is simply an army of spartans that charge forward, but I'm definitely looking to pull ideas from some collaborative creativity! -Omni
My suggestion for his FS! Considering the epicness of that chain attack, how about taking that a step further and upon using his FS, he will stretch burning chains out all over the field, making some zoom right past the camera if possible. After covering the field the chains will start burning before pulling opponents in, ending with him slamming opponents down into the ground with that awesome rock smash effect you used earlier in one of his attacks. How's that?
Also as far as the water God Poseidon goes, how about making him over someone who hasn't already got dozens of character PSA on them already? Like Bowser, Pikachu or Olimar? Or even Zelda? I know Zelda has limited size, but I'm sure you could pull that off as there has been made psa over her before, though lacking in quality.
That chain attack! Omg! It's so awesome I can't stop spamming it XD I'm hoping to see a port of him, preferably over one of the known portable characters, that way, we can all continue to love our Ganon hacks that just haven't been, or can't be ported. I'd love to see this guy vs Tabuu, or even better, vs Diablos He also seems very balanced, from what I found at least. That is surprising considering how quickly he came about, so good work on that. I have gotten him into a unusable state when pushing down B in air. When he lands he will be frozen and you can't do anything about it, he can slide over the stage, but the "status" won't go away until he is either hit, or dies.
Also, I just suddenly remembered! You said you like to make movesets based upon a single element? Well then, how about Shiva the Ice Elemental Goddess that has an amazing model import over peach?
just an up date on the sonic heroes psa i got the down b where you change pkm to be on the down taunt but its only 50% working so if i can get it to fully work then we can give knuckles ,sonic ,and tails a down b
