It's been months...and I am two holidays behind...on the bright side I do have a preview of the Bone Lizard once again.
Now with ribs and a hip, and among other things like an actual rig this time.
One problem, it lags the game when there are more than two characters on the field. Possibly because each bone is individual. I may have to optimize it.
I wasn't a fan of the flame either, easy fix though. For the first Charizard, I purposely went for a hard realistic render for a darker Pokemon style. Post Merge: December 23, 2013, 11:28:15 AM This was the smooth render.
I feel as though the shadows aren't being portayed correctly. Pointers? Sorry fof the constant bother.
Then that's fine, though you might want to move the lighting so it's less harsh.
Since I made the CSPs for Smash 3 Ness, I thought I may as well go ahead and do a few more textures since I haven't posted anything new in a while. I have terrible timing though, since SJS just released his.
And Smash 3 Ness:
Thanks and whoa! That looks great! My favorite Smash 3 CSP so far.
It looks good, but since it needs to be cropped you'd lose some parts of his pose. My suggestion would be to rotate the whole pose so his arm goes towards the camera, then rotate his head to face the camera as well. Also, you might want to move the light so that it's a bit closer to the middle of his head too. Which version of BrawlBox are these in?
I don't really like the lighting, it's too sharp and the way it has a light side and dark side makes it very awkward. The light should be coming from in front of his face, slightly to one side, rather than all the way to one side or directly in the middle.
Are these for CSPs? If they are, I'd recommend rotating their bodies to be facing the camera rather than away.
