Hey,

I'm returning to brawl hacking after about a year or so away and I'm trying to add some stages. I'm trying to use stage switcher so I can put the majority of levels where I want blah blah,,
Problem is, not matter how hard I try, I can't find the pal .rel for final destination. All the old links I got it from no longer work, so I'm pretty much stuck on where to find it.. I was wondering if one of you helpful British chaps might have it and be able to share it...

Thanks, I'm looking in the common5.pac now. There's definitely no .rel files causing a problem so I'm assuming it's the common5.

I do have custom character select portraits but none for dk.. What else could be an issue? Perhaps one of his portraits are missing?  Oh shi~

Nevermind by the looks of it, they're all here. In textures theres 011-014 for portraits. I've never touched the palettes...
Bare with me, it's a long time since I did anything Brawl related  Sad

Update:
Apparently when I play as donkey kong it is fine, but when I select him as an opponent the game freezes..

Another Update:
Donkey Kong works fine except when playing against him as computer player two.. Guess it's not really a big deal..

Hey, I've recently started playing Brawl again after some time and discovered that Donkey Kong freezes on the Character Select screen...
I am using Balanced brawl v2 for Pal, I thought removing all the donkey.pac files etc would work but he still freezes the game, I can't think what else it could be... Any ideas?

Open your sc_selmap.pac in brawl box

Go to: MiscData[40]
Stock icons are there. Then right click, replace   Grin

Not really a solution but I couldn't get it to work either... Although It seems to work over ike fine without a module file or codes

Create folder and name it Item in your pf folder. Then put all the .pac files in folders with the same name as the pokemon.

I recently deleted this from my SD but i think it says on the dl description  Oh shi~

For example:
PkmEnteiBrres.pac; would go in a folder named Entei, and so forth..

I had none in the Koopa folder, removed them to be on the safe side. I've figured it out now though, it was something to do with having a copy of common5 (Called common5old so i could extract orginal csps for brawl box) in the same folder as my actual common5   I see what you did there ... don't really udnerstand why it broke bowser but he works fine now Grin

I don't think there's a way to fix that, I get the occasional odd sounds when playing with new chars... It just happens  Kirby Dance

you probably removed your old codes when creating a GCT for the new ones. Find your original codes and put them in a txt file along with these ones. then use codemanager to create a new gct. http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/Resources.php

.rel files go in the module folder. the module folder should be in SD:/private/wii/app/RSBE/pf/module

are you using PAL brawl? because the majority of characters requiring .rels will not work unless they were made specifically for pal. Same applies to codes.
