'Bout time I friggn' posted in here. Been lurking in here a while anyway.
BJ, as a fellow Sora no Otoshimono fan, I approve. I'm always worried when I see models and such I like get handed off to folks who I don't trust, but I'm sure that this import shall be BlackJax Quality™.
I mean, like, after something's been skinned you activate the vertices on the mesh(or poly or whatever) and move them as you please. All the times I've done this it never messes up my rig.
Although if I'm reading that right if you move anything else the proportions will be off and it'll look funny, right?
I'm no expert, but I've gone in and moved the vertices inside the object before instead of moving the object itself without the rig being thrown off. Have you tried that, Pervy?
Big shout out to Leonexodio for not only getting me the models but going through the trouble of replacing the textures for each E-100 robot as a recolor for Gamma.
Yeah, Gamma has around 15-25 different textures, and replacing them so they look right isn't easy. So yeah, thank him too.
Anyway, I have some stuffs here. One plea for help, two previews of personal hack waiting for your input, and one upcoming hack.
To each, a spoiler!
HALP (Emerl/Phi):
OK, so Emerl works fine. I had to re-rig Phi once, but after that he worked too. Just one problem. Even if there's ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with the textures in Brawlbox, they look like this in-game:
Any ideas/fixes?
Personal Completed Hack 1: Fox's Shadow
Yeah. Literally. Fox's Shadow. I rigged it to Fox's bones to see what would happen. It doesn't really have a set texture, but it doesn't steal textures off of other things either. It's a little weird.
Should I release it? Tell me your thoughts!
Personal Completed Hack 2: The Chao Colony
I stole the Chao off the Trophy and rigged all of them to Mario's Bones.
It's suited more for pictures than for fighting. Not that it doesn't work. Just saying.
It's a dumb hack, really. Anyone could've made it. But it's SO DANG CUTE!
Should I release it?
My next upcoming hack: Sonic the TF2 Scout
I saw some fanart floating around the Internet depicting the Sonic Cast as the Team Fortress 2 Cast. It was awesome.
So found Scout's model on the internet, and imported the models onto Sonic.
It's not textured yet. I know there's a Ness texture hack that has him as a TF2 scout, but I'm not gonna steal it.
It also has a basic rig without the toes or hands done.
