ANYways, here's a U-Smash. I have some other things too, but I'll post those in a bit since they're coding and actually require video. Really gotta fix that habit of not telling folks the things I'm doing.
I've yet to animate the feather, but it should be fine otherwise.
So, what actually happens is: First off, when you press the insert button to add frames, the model doesn't update in real time like it usually does. And when this happens, sometimes pressing the "1 frame back" button will bring you to the first frame instead. But the worst thing about it is that sometimes adding frames will add a frame in the spot you specified and delete the last frame in the animation at the same time.
That's really good, man. So, how are you going to play it? Skirt or Tights?
Also, I might as well post some stuff here too:
Have I ever told you guys Shun_One is good at texturing? Because he is. Really.
Custom, for the most part. Shun did the textures.
Based on this. Far Left:
Also, this:
Based on a design my friend and I drew up together. I did all the work here though. Hopefully it looks alright.
Weapons aren't done being textured yet, so they're not here, but the way my friend and I set it up is cool! Instead of having a right hand, she has an omnidirectional ball which holds the weapons attached to her right claw. Much more versatile than a hand joint I'd think.
...Now then. Now that I've got my undying fanburst out, the big question:
Will this do anything to saved data?
Edit:
Also, does anyone want to start working on a "standard pack" of recolored default textures to fill all the slots so there will be no freezes? Because that should happen.
Well, since this thread is generally floating about the top of the pool...
So, this one time a tornado happened and I had to stay at a friend's house. This hack is the result of that stay. He's an excellent designer, and I can model, so we both had a blast.
It was supposed to be called SteamPunk Robo, but I misspelled it as I was typing it to "Punk Rono."
And it stuck.
And I just finished texturing it enough to show off.
The right hand is a claw! I'll show how it'll work when I finish the texturing!
Also, gonna have to do something about that OP. Hrrm.
I don't have a batch to do them all, but I DID write a batch to bypass having to open the command prompt while decompressing some Klonoa files.
Here, put this inside a .bat file inside the same folder as your ntcompress.exe. Just make a .txt, put it inside, and rename the file to .bat.
Quote
ntcompress -x %1
Then just drag your files to be decompressed onto it. Makes things much easier.
EDIT: Also, I could've swore RandomTalkingBush already figured out most of this stuff at the Modeler's Resource though. Unfortunately, I can't find the thread.
i wanna make her eye glow as well, using a shine plane, so if someone knows how to make the plane always face the camera and be shiny and stuff...
If you want to use a shine plane, you'll need a bone to attach it to. Second off, anything attached to that bone will face the camera, so it can't be a bone that's already in use. Other than that, they're super easy to set up.
Lol I'll probably end up using the 1-slot version without the light edits for myself. I like my rob slots.
@Everyone A buddy of mine is building me a computer with extreme processing power.
So once I get that set up, expect some more streaming/recording of imports and other gaming videos. I'm gonna get into making some Skyrim mods. Imagine some Master Chief armor or Ezio robes Post Merge: May 13, 2013, 05:51:28 PM
Ninka_Kiwi's Model
Speaking of Assassins. You never finished judging that tournament, haha.
Nice nice work, man! I was always thinking, it's actually possible to replace the .thp files for the SSE (and the opening screen, if you so desire), so if you really wanted to you could actually animate your own cutscenes. Especially at this quality. Heck, I might just do that myself, hahaha.
