This^ tbh i really like a lot of the stages in B- and vbrawl. i was kinda sad when most the fun ones were taken out the PM pack in favor of PM/vbrawl stages, and a good chunk of those are kinda static. i like stages where sometimes things are a bit hectic and crazy, makes the stages a lot different from one to the next. otherwise its basically FD with a platform >.>

Sorry i havent had much time to work on it yet, i've been pretty slammed with work >.< qq working 15 days straight with no down time. i should have time wednesday to look into it. i don't see any major edits so far to the code, so it should be relatively easy getting this to work again.
So, you're working on 3.6 now? Cool! Also, did you ever figure out those character crashes, like with Squirtle, and a few others? I think it mostly has to do with the configs not being set up to replace the additional codes altering what the characters can do, but that's a challenge due to the needless secrecy of the codeset. If you need anything tested, let me know, since I know in detail how to properly add clones without them crashing, so we can pin down issues related to PM, and not just user error. Plus, I want to make Ridley have his own slot, too!
the pokemon there is a very very good chance they will need to be completely rebuilt from the ground up, PM basically added each on to a new slot as a new character, that unloads the data of the other pokemon so there is more file space to work with in PSA and such as i understand it. i believe they were working in the previous BeX build 3.02 if i remember. maybe someone more versed in PSA can check the differences. atm i'm not even sure where to start with it.
i stopped roy freezing for a while, made changes and it came back, thinking about it however, i actually think PM edits a few ID's for characters, there was a tutorial for making custom CSS menu's that pointed it out. perhaps there are errors with the mapping thus making it unstable. i'll test this later when i can. i havent had much time to work on this due to work. think the next day i'm free will be monday. as for result crashes, make sure all your characters have their battle portraits, it might actually be more helpful for you to post here
The creater can then find any errors in glitches to fix if there are any, and there are more people to give help there. also i think zelda was a beta module.

Whoa. That's very strange, indeed. I have the 35 stage expansion on mine and i don't ever get freezes unless there are problems with the moveset. And what your going through sounds like what i had went through when i made a attempt to add brawl ex to 3.5. Only deleting the css codes and nothing else. I imagine that a clean install could help. I use your beta 3.5 gct(With Melee Airdodge) and i added the 35 stage expansion with no problem, so thats quite weird. i'll test out your gct if you post it.
i'm 90% certain its an error on my part, stages and normal characters load fine, its just the clones. (also found a few that gave a silent freeze, oops! forgot something) i think i was just rushed to try it out. i have a feeling its one of the core files i'm missing, its unlikely i messed them all up.i just added the changes from 3.5 to the gct in liberternies pack. it works for the most part. just not clones. i'll try messing around with it again later.

grunties lair is defaulted to FD, make sure you get a FD rel file if your porting it to another stage. here is a very useful site: http://www.lakora.us/rel/ select the base stage on the left, then select the one its going over and it will make the rel file you need.
the brawl manager i'm not sure about, i recommend asking in the creators thread. should be first page in programing.
I put it on a USB so that Id have 3.5 on my SD card and D.I.Y. on my USB. When loading it from the USB(which recently broke so I can no longer use it) it would load 3.5.
i think thats your problem there. Riivo is the only thing out there that can patch from a USB drive, and brawl EX doesn't really support it. try copying the data to an SD card instead.
Alright! So today i was able to fix the jab glitch! Turns out that project M changes some of the bit variables used in psa. All the characters i added weren't project m style, so they didn't use the correct bit variable in the attack 11 and 12 sections in their respective fighter.pac files. They used bit variable 16 and 22, while project m characters use 16 and 17. All i had to do was change 22 to 17. Also some of the variables were misplaced. But now their Jab combo works perfectly!
that is a good find. i think for the most part the coding is done, i can't find any freezes related to it, been tinkering with getting it to work with the stage expansion pack.
successfully added clones and stages to it. however clones freeze as soon as the match starts. (all of them ._.) its different from freezes i've had in the past, normally a broken character freezes in 3 locations
1) at the CSS, (bad config files usually) 2) at the results screen (usually when results data is wonky (I.E. many unused, or wrongly named) 3) final smashes. usually the final resources aren't set up (fit___final.pac)
this one is freezing as soon as the match starts. it counts down from 3 then gives a loud beep when it says "GO"
i'm gonna try a clean install, being i may have rushed and messed something up. i'll post the GCT later if anyone wants to test it.
Alright. I'll keep a look out. Sirkura's Beta gcts both work flawlessly. Both the airdodge and non airdodge versions.(except for roy and mewtwo having glitches) And im sure the jab glitch is Project M's fault. Just thought i'd add some feedback.
actually PM's codes have a lot of IC constants you might need to add. like lucario has 2 jabs instead of 3, samus has crawl, etc. you will need to edit the fighterconfig file to change it. mario and DK are most probably PSA related. you need to find out how they have it coded, psa unfortunately is not my forte. mewtwo and roy i've had freezes but they mostly went away for me. result crashes i would double check the result screen portraits, make sure they have everything needed. final smash make sure the character has "fitcharacterfinal.pac" and the fighter config is set to "final smash = single"
i'm not really certain what is wrong with mewtwo, still stumped on that one. maybe try using the older mewtwo PSA?
another thing i noticed is Roy and mewtwo tend to crash in allstar more btw. (usually when attacks go off at the same time or the final smash breaks, not used) i a'm kinda wondering if its an overflow in data, meaning too much memory at once for the wii to handle.
I too set up Project M from scratch not too long ago. Should I do so again? Also, how would I go about making sure the final smash resources are set up? I know it is loading the final smash file in their fighter folders (according to the fighter## files) and I also installed all the BrawlEx core files into their respected places so I'm not sure.

Mewtwo --------------------
Mewtwo is almost perfect from what I can tell. His only main flaw is that his shadow balls are invisible. I tried to fix it the same way I did in the past (by changing the "ef_mizuo" in FitMewtwo.pac to "ef_lucario") however it does not work anymore.
A few other minor flaws I found were that Mewtwo's "hover" move doesn't work every time I try to perform it. This may just be because I am doing it wrong but I still thought it was not worthy. Also, Mewtwo's announcer call at the end of a match is "Lucario" but I'm pretty sure that this is a problem with BrawlEx and I have no power to fix it. If I can, please let me know.

Roy seems to be okay but he has two major bugs that will often freeze the game and give the infamous *beeeeeeeep* everyone knows and loves.
1. When performing his final smash the game will freeze. I was able to perform it once without a crash but that hasn't happened since.
2. When leaving a match to the results screen it will freeze. Interestingly this also happened for me in training mode despite the lack of a results screen.

i'm already looking into mewtwo, i still have an older mewtwo psa to compare it with that works with BeX.
i had freezes with his final smash as well. make sure final smash resources are set up with BeX. it went away when i made a completely clean slate clean slate for PM. result freezes also went away. atm the build i have doesn't freeze at all.
there are a few other undocumented glitches, that almas pointed out, some characters can not pull off a wave dash due to the way they are coded in PSA. i'm not that good at reading the format so i wouldn't know what to add or remove. most noticable are mario and DK. i don't think they have a hard fall coded in, thus resulting in undesired results. (ex. DK lands and immediately sheilds instead of wave dashing, mario literally lands on his head >.>) i believe its due to the way PM codes the airdodge. specifically they have airdodge coded to go into special fall after its performed, then a second code forces that fall to become hard fall. i'll have to look into the codes i ripped see if their is any character related ones needed that compensate for it. although if there are, i do not know if it will be possible to emulate it with BeX.
i'll update te GCT when 3.6 comes out. i probably won't fill out a form to apply (hate paperwork of any kind, do enough of it at work.) xD but feel free to PM me if you need help. you may also add me to skype if you wish, pm me if you want my info. i'll be working on a project of my own for a couple days. i think i can get it working faster now with PM 3.6 i'll look at it later. i don't think the alt loader will cause issues either. besides if it does you can just add the SSS expansion and put the stages in. there is a new stock code, that may cause issues with characters that don't normally have a stock icon of their own, again i think its an easy fix, just need to add stocks to the clones.
not much really changed in 3.6, its almost purely aesthetic besides adding new stages,
Hello! I want to know if it is possible to read codes (project M ones and all) from the USB instead of the SD card? that would let me implement a 4GB characters texture pack, my SD card is 2GB and Project M itself uses ~800mb so I can't even implement that pack that has lots of heroes and I just love it :/ If it is possible, which loaders let you do that?
Allows up to 32 gig SD cards to be used. sadly you can't use a USB drive unless you use riivolution, which from what you said you use a usb loader, therefore can not use it.
