1  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / General Hacking Discussion / A "Hackless" Method That Works With Up To 32 Gig Cards. on: December 14, 2018, 07:17:37 PM
This is actually quite old. But seems many people still don't know about this exploit, so I thought i'd share the method I use. It's a good alternative to Smash Stack. Team Twiiizers released Letter Bomb some time ago. Basically it saves a hacked letter to your SD card that when opened, will load custom code, (I.E. Gecko, PM Launcher, HB Installer, etc.)

It has its pro's and cons.

PROs:
1) It does not have the 2 gig SD card limit, this means you can load much larger mods Such as Legacy XP hackless.
2) It's quite simple to set up from the website, where you just enter your Wii's mac address to sign the letter.
3) You do not need to delete all your custom stages in the game.
4) It's available in all regions.
5) It does not require a particular game to function.

CONs:
1) It will save the letter to a specific day on the SD card, and it may be annoying to backtrack and look for it over and over, especially as time passes.
2) It will only work on the Wii that you entered the mac address for. You will need to repeat it for each console you wish to use it on.
3) It only works on menu 4.3+.
4) New things are scary to most people. Tongue

Super Smash Brothers Myth

Hello everyone, it's been a while! We are officially starting up the project again, now that DiY was released, I have more time to work on this, (No worries i'll still be maintaining that project as well!) Seeing as this has grown far more then a simple texture/model project i am making a new thread all together. Please pardon the bland post, i'm still formatting the OP.  I'll be posting my WiP shortly.




So, What is Myth?
Myth is a personal spin on Mythology. We plan on creating 100% custom, balanced content not seen in any game, this means, all characters are unique to the Myth universe and well thought out before being implemented. We seek to create an entirely new game using smash as a template. This is as much for fun, as it is to test the limits of what we as modders, are capable of.


Goals for the Game
1) 8 Balanced and original characters for the cast.
2) 8 New stages that compliment each new character
3) 8 New songs that compliment the new characters
4) Add new and original special modes
5) New events and a unique new story mode
6) All goals subject to change

Sirks is a good natured Kitsune that is quick on her feet. Well versed in Mirrormancy, she is skilled in casting potent countermeasures in a wide array of situations. She seeks to confront her father for abandoning her and her mother as a child.

A witch that focuses on thunder to enhance hand to hand combat, favors speed.

A vampire injected with the demon gene. Think of her like the Ganon of Myth, Slow but powerful.

Night A vampire that uses twin throwing knives that are manipulated with the teleportation skill shadow doors, favors set ups

A vampire that uses twin throwing knives that are manipulated with the teleportation skill shadow doors, favors set ups

Teleport - Allows both players to save coordanants with a button then teleport to that location later with another

This is a modified version of Project M that uses BrawlEx instead of the built in clone engine, enabling the ability to add your own clones. This means you can add 100+ more characters to the game without replacing a pre-existing ones like Mario or Pikachu. While there are already things like this, none are a clean slate for people to work off of. There was always something a character or a stage but this is just ready to be modified to your liking.

Q:What is DiY exactly?

A: DiY Stands for "Do it Yourself." Its pretty much exactly that. This project is dedicated to cracking open Project M (here by called PM for short), and making it more customizable, providing you a clean slate to make your own BeX packs and builds.

Title says it all. My Wii no longer plays discs, and hasn't for several years. I've been looking for a way to rip my ISO from disc to Fix a few errors I'm having with corruption. So far I've yet to find a way to rip it without using a Wii.

so i've been figeting around with importing and decided to try a full import. we used the auto rig method and got pretty decent results (not perfect by anymeans but ok for a test) the model ad textures all seem to work fine. the model has 1k less verts then the original model and is about 200 kb smaller then the original. we tried testing it in brawl and the game froze.

we aren't really getting much feed back in the model help section so i figured we should post here as well.

can anyone download the files in the thread and check them for us? the original thread is here:

i tried asking in the stage help thread but it isn't really getting any traffic there.

there is a stage edit mod where you can rotate the spikes to make them move up and down. while the spikes do move the collisions do not. i wanna know what i would need to edit to fix it.

after about  a year of procrastinating i decided to finally finish a few projects this week xD i'm actually pretty confused by this.  i had a nearly flawless  import  over ZSS's gun   everything work just a few minor easy fixes in the weighting. the textures worked  fine before came out how they should then i went to tinker with the rig to fix a few things and reimported it. well its easier to show the results >.>






anyway to fix this?
