its understandable Inner, since Tales isnt as popular as other games like.. naruto or Final fantasy, its hard to find any model rips if only there was more dedicated Tales rippers and extractors i mean.. i sit here and stare at this Asch PS2 model with its missin textures.. if i knew how to get em id rig him right now. i think its easier to get the model from the actual files over ripping, as long as you know what yer doing. since when ripping, they wont be in there default pose (usualy a T-pose). by the way, i know ya wanted presea over fox for a PSA but i wanted to rig her over ness first, for fun. i use ness and lucas alot. her proportions will be to the genis one (symphonia 1) on lucas i show in the OP.
Oh man, I really wish I could figure out the issues I'm having with 3DS Max, I'd rig up that rappy in a heartbeat. XD So on that matter, I know it's not from PSO, but I could probably rip PSU's version of Falz's Memorial, if that interests you? niice for me it would mostly only be for eye candy the stage id really wanna see is uh.. you know on phantasy star online episode 2 at the jungle areas where theres puddles that are sorta stairs? maps in that area, where theres sorta a hole to one side, yer under all those trees and those puddles on a other side also that one area.. where theres some water and a waterfall. you could see the ocean and out of the island from that place too. the cliff could be where one could fall off in the end.. its up to you i like a stage where you can fall off, instead of being completly flat. maybe edit the memorial with damaged floors and some go-through platforms somewhere id really want those songs transformed.. i think it was called "jungle cage"

As for X over Snake, for those who followed the original request thread for UMvC3 X, it was requested over Snake due to the multiple faces. We then came to somewhat of an agreement that Snake would be okay.
However, for those who don't want X over Snake, simply grab the Samus version. The rig is pretty damn good.

What about adding bones? How does that work at the moment? Maybe it would be possible to give Scizor claw and foot bones so he doesn't have to use Falco's? Then he could move these parts of the body when whoever's animating him gets round to animating him.
However, I know literally nothing as regards to how adding bones works so if it's not possible then....meh XP
if i know rigging well i can say that he wont have to add ANY bones at all. if he left a bunch of bones rigged to nothing, like the finger, ZipperN's, SSabN's, and foot bones, then for example: he can rig the claws to specific finger bones. if he still has left over ones, he can even give the wings full control to specific bones, like the two ZipperN's. of course this means makin a note of what rotates what and alot of manual work if jiggy wants to port over animations. niice work on scizor man.. he was worthless against fire but he still kicked poke'butt and looked kool doin' it in brawl he has a disadvantage against mario
alright instead of postin this over 'n over again for others, i thought i should make it it's own proper guide so its "OUT THERE". adding transparency doesnt take that much work. if yer familiar with brawlbox, it should be simple

i layed on my back and thought.. "what the hell is going on??" so then i posted a help thread that didnt get me much closer to a solution. i didnt want to wait for the solution so i went in brawlbox and studied very closely on how character's materials are for the transparent textures and non-transparent textures. and found out what was going on. this isnt exactly the best guide but i hope it helps.
Quick Help : what your doing in this guide is making a new or replacing a MLD0's existing shader and material with the corresponding Shader"number" and Material"number" including in da download. after that, you link and assign the shader to the material. then assign the material's textures to the material references. read on to go more in-depth..

"Sharp Transparency"
1. right-click the MLD0 and "Add New Shader" 2. right-click and replace that new shader added with "Shader1 - Sharp" 3. expand the MLD0's Materials Folder and go to the Materials you want transparency (or "Add New Material") 4. right-click the material and replace it with "Material1 - Sharp" 5. change ("link") that material's "Shader" drop box to that new shader made in step 2. 6. after that, expand that new/replaced Material and click the blank material reference 7. then, assign proper textures and palettes in the "Texture" and "Palette" box at the top. found under the "Misc" section 8. lastly, make sure your new edited material is assigned to the proper Object in the MLD0's Objects Folder 7. it should work from there, Brawlbox 0.66 now does most of the manual work.
[use the rest of the steps to make sure it works 100% how you want]

8. in those Materials, "AllowTransparency" is at True ("EnableAlphaTest" in Brawlbox 0.65c and up) and scroll to the very top to the "ALPHA FUNCTION" 9. use these settings..
10. make sure that texture yer messin with has a ALPHA layer with everythin you dont want erased, like ike's bandana 11. make sure all non-transparent textures set to "Allow Transparency - False " 12. that should make it transparent, the rest is experimenting with the "Cull Option".
the cull option is settings from where the polygon's textures are invisible from. example, if ya choose "cull_inside", it makes the poly's textures invisible from the back. also, you can set the Ref0 in the ALPHA function to a lower senstivity (lower number) to control how strong the transparency is.
You dont have to use that shader and material from the "Download This" above. Just make sure it originates from a brawl character's shader and material that does use Transparency.
Note : When typing in and assigning the Material's textures, remember, all Material Texture References are case-sensitive. So make sure they are EXACTLY the same as the texture's name

If you want a transparency to be blended more smoothly around edges and want semi-transparency (half-see-through areas) too.. follow this instead
"Blended Transparency"
1. follow steps 1-7 in the "Sharp Transparency" guide up there except instead of using "Shader1 - Sharp" and "Material1 - Sharp", use "Shader2 - Blend" and "Material2 - Blend"
[follow the steps below to make sure it works 114% how you want]

2. in their material settings, scroll the right window up to "Blend Mode" 3. make sure "EnableBlend" is set to "True" 4. scroll down the right window to "Z Mode" 5. make sure "EnableDepthUpdate" is set to "False" 6. that should be it.. test it in-game 7. you need experiment with the Z Mode stuff after that to get it exactly how you want.
use the same cull options, like the other type of transparency from above, for reference. also, the transparency might bleed or eat polys. if that happens you have to change the materials you dont want it to eat at with transparency set to False and mess with the Z mode on the Blended Transparency material
I also included a Null shader (from Mewtwo2000) that works with blended transparency and it also can keep materials assigned to it always BRIGHT. its the "Shader3 - Blend_Null" and "Material3 - Blend_Null". follow the above except replace it with this. also, in Brawlbox 0.65c, change the material's "C0Enums1" and "C0Enums3" settings from 3 to 1. that should make it unaffected by stage's lighting.
Note : setting "C0Enums1" and "C0Enums3" settings from 3 to 1 to make a material unaffected by lighting should work on any Material.
If you want to add a ALPHA layer to yer texture so it can have transparency..
using GIMP, go to File>New.. and while makin a new canvas the exact size of yer texture, click the + on advanced settings and then change "Fill with: " to "Transparency".
you should see a blank checkered background.
after that you go to File>Open Layer As..>then choose yer texture
to know if and wheres the transparency, you should see a checkered background where its transparent. if you dont and you see it white or something where you want it transparent, use the eraser tool or wand (fuzzy select tool) to erase it.
continue to use the eraser and tools to erase what you want to become transparent
after yer done editing, make sure to save in a transparency compatible format (like .png)
that should do it

i noticed the silver PSA i been using is yours and wanted to post a thing that should be fixed, dunno if someone has brought it up
you can grab/down/throw trap people. basicaly you grab and throw em down and as theyre bouncing up, grab em again and then throw em down again in a endless chain. since i abuse this, sometimes.., my brother has banned me from using silver besides that, the obvious air/front/B. hes fun to use this way so ill probaly keep the old PSA version for fun and.. i just noticed the new silver import ill use that instead too
starfy and klonoa came out pretty good starfy is "funny-good" runnin around with those tiny triangle foots
about transparency, you can try this that i wrote out to DSX8 awhile ago

this fixes dark and glitchy shaders COMPLETELY i knew it had somethin to do within 3ds max after lookin at this one part of imports, i was able to fix shaders issues only with non-transparency textures just had no idea it would be this it works WITH transparency and everything PERFECTLY duuude RAWR
the only thing is it slightly jacks up the file size this ike .pac went from 1.16 to 1.19 ike's default is 1.14MB wonder where the limit is
yuuuup.. i got my the file size down to 1.12MB combining this method to keep transparency workin perfect and how i did non-transparency, to avoid using too much file space, is, i think, the best way to fix all these issues on my imports now. thanks for sharin this pikazz. we should see less imports with shader problems now.. and i can finally focus solely on riggin

Innerscope: I can't tell in place of masal of course, but what I can say you right now is that it is not really surprising that you didn't get any answer, because I myself sent a private message for him and got no answer (Royal Blade, it's the private message I promised you to send). It is probably because he didn't came from at least 2 weeks. And I have to be honest, I don't have enough time to learn Psa, maybe I could have learned Psa during the next holidays, but I won't be able to do it because I won't have my computer with all the material...

duuuude i was about to go nutts but the asbel is overly disfigured and missin almost all of it, the others too the only one i could work with is sophie, it has all her pieces. only problem is that its not T-posed
