Wario has a comical/cartoony moveset, how does that not fit King K. Rool >.>
I never said it doesn't, I was pointing out the fact that he did a good job rigging it on a difficult-to-work-with skeleton. However, rigging models to Dedede is somewhat less of a hassle to do.
What I usually do is make a new 3ds max scene, import the weapon, save it as a .max.
Then I open the character, go to Import>Merge and select the .max of the weapon
It's that simple?! Cool, I'll give it a whirl. I know where the sword goes, but the shield, I'm not so sure about, but I think the bone is called "tate"(written as 盾) , which means shield in Japanese, so it makes sense.
Nice! Thanks for the find, but how do I import them, or rather, how do I get them to work with the Link/Zora model? Do I use Brawl Box and import them somewhere in the MDL0/DAE data? See, this is the kind of thing I know nothing about, adding weapons to characters. But I'm willing to learn nonetheless.
Good question, since I'm not good with texture editing, so I might have to keep Link's Master Sword. If I can find someone to do that kind of hacking, that would be awesome.
11/12/14 - The very character I wanted to see for a very long time, yes, Ayla from Chrono Trigger, the sexy and very strong cave-woman JLSTAR graciously made the club for her and it's been rigged as a weapon over Peach. Lots of props to him as well!

What's included
-Recolors (ice, fire, magenta, grey, green, default purple) -Shiny and normal textures -Rigged weapons (my last version didn't have Peach's weapons for some reason) lol -Size mod and regular size versions
Here's what sets this apart from the other iterations:
- Includes colors, default (blue), ice blue, grey, green, orange and red - Has a working staff as Peach's weapon, instead of the fry pan, racket, etc, you use her staff - Custom-made battle and character selection screen portraits for all colors (six of each) for your viewing pleasure!
- And the part the makes it all the better, the rig itself has been done in a much, much cleaner more pro looking manner. How? For one, her shoulders were never rigged correctly, but now they are, not only that, so is her neck/head, arms, legs, well, everything actually!
Here's the download! Tested working perfectly in Brawl!

It's high time I create a thread dedicated exclusively to the imports I've been posting and will continue to post to the Vault. Only this time, I have decided that it would be in my best interest to not clutter up other in peoples' threads for the sake of advertising my projects. So, from now on, I will post progress updates on every project I work on!

If you really want to continue this importing stuff, make a thread about it. You can talk about your stuff and ask questions all you want in there.
I probably should make one. By making a thread, you mean a page dedicated entirely to any future project(s) I'm working on or plan on working on....that sort of thing?
