1  Help & Tutorials / Help / Missing Slot Characters on CSS on: January 01, 2016, 11:08:14 PM
I downloaded this pack:
http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=210053

And apparently some characters were missing on CSS but I asked the guy who made this pack and he said that he forgot to put the unlock everything code. He hasn't respond to me since and here I am stuck wondering the code because I have no idea have no idea about the code nor I don't have any idea which hack does it belong to.

I dunno. Honestly, I don't know how to use BrawlEx. All I know is that BrawlEx has the extra characters listed as custom names.

Oh I see.

What I meant by that was that I was wondering if you were wanting to use these without having to use BrawlEx; i.e. If a character would ordinarily go over Mario, you would instead put that in Mario's folder instead of in the BrawlEx folder?
Really does that work out without bother renaming to "mario.pac" folder?? I d idn't know you can do that in brawlex. How do you that because it didn't load up  the character hack on my Character selection screen.

Easy, you don't. If you had read the description, he had said that this is a brawl-Ex pack, which means that you have to have brawl-EX in order for this to work.

If I knew how to get brawl-Ex, I would tell you, but sadly, I don't.
What do you mean? Brawlex was already included in his pack.

Wiisam, do you mean that you're trying to use the characters in a non-Brawl-Ex build, and are just trying to figure out which characters they would be over? Because, if the Shd models are unchanged(Which is quite often; almost nobody changes them), you can preview those in BrawlBox to see which character. Also, sometimes people label the MDL0s something like "FitLink" or "FitSamus" and stuff, so you can tell by that, as well. Assuming that this is what you're trying to do.
Sorry I don't know what is non- Brawl-EX Build and yeah I forgot to check inside BrawlBox to find it's name.   I havn't been doing hacking for long time so my memory is hazy right now.

I downloaded this  pack and I was able to sort out except that he  didn't name the brawl characters that I'm suppossed to replace with  and because of that, it didn't load the hack for the modded characters on css

so right now  I'm having hard time which Modded characters goes to which.

Instead I get this in the fighter folder:

and within the characters folder...

Does anyone has any idea which PSA characters belong to For those who have this Pack with the link I provided.

Does anyone have the code for Project M 3.6 txt file??  If I used the gct edit and open up the gct file, most of it are "Unknown" and  I really can't do anything to hack.

Yeah I'm the guy who made that mod. You're in the right place
I didnt realize your name was  in  the gallery you posted.  Oh sweet can you play Dolphin with it?? I thought at the moment you were trolling because you look like a noob.

No, you're in the wrong place. Cali's worked was used in this build, but Cali himself has absolutely nothing else to do with it.
Ok but everyone were working together right so if this gallery that sent me here is the same project that you all guys are currently working on

Does these Pack work on Dolphin? If so How do I port it??
11  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Project M Tutorial on: December 24, 2014, 07:32:58 PM
Most of it worked fine,  I followed everything  according to his instruction  including the 3 folders which is app, codes, and private.   I dragged all 3 folders including gameconfig  to my root of my sd card. Within the Private folder it goes to the following order:

Private/ wii/app/rsbe/pf

My directory works fine, all I did is hooked my sd card to my wii console, load to homebrew channel to Project M, and select Start  though  from what you said  is different so I dunno if I was following correctly.

I'm able to play it safely, so most of it worked out  but there are some issues  only when I select certain character vs matches up  or stage.   Some  stage froze  such as when  I selected  ff7 planet core on stage  selection screen, and that stage section was more of  clone I believe.

Anyway, there're no sfx to the respective character, only by default, and that is because sfx were not included in his pack, so my intention was to add sfx, music, and add or remove character depending what slot , and to tweak and have adjustment with the games, but the problem is I dunno, so I need some guidence so then I can start modding.

I havn't keep in touch with the SSBB mod for a while  so    I just  need some guide to  where should I start modding such as adding SFX, music, codes, stage, and also why it froze when I select certain character/stage.    Is it any different to how Riivolution works??
13  Help & Tutorials / Help / New Brawl Hack Help! on: December 22, 2014, 02:33:24 PM
Hey guys, I havn't keep in touch with the SSBB mod for almost a year and now I have heard some great things with Gecko while I was away . In my case, I only used riivolution bcause it has more features such as sfx and as such but now it doesn't seem the case anymore.

I decided to  use this Project M  pack as a start for my brawl hacking.

http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=206250

Before I start using this project, clearly I havn't keeping up with this site so I don't know where to look up for this tutorial, and because I forgot how to mod, I don't know where to look up,  so I've back up all my SD files just in case.

Yes. If the PSA calls for one Animation, and is not found in the FitMotionEtc.pac, The T-Stance would be the result.

Sorry, I'm still new to PSA but  I think I get it, I have to change the id in the PSA to match for the animation. So do you  mean that the Psa  I downloaded orginally over Jiggly puff means that I have to match Purin ID to the fitmotion.pac for each animation ???

If that the case then I;m kinda confused because didn't the Psa animation was already set  up, I watched on youtube and all the animation works out fine.
So how did the Psa did not found the Animation??

I thought it was done, unless  I change to Samus ID   when comparing the same animation between Purin and Samus
