I downloaded this pack:

And apparently some characters were missing on CSS but I asked the guy who made this pack and he said that he forgot to put the unlock everything code. He hasn't respond to me since and here I am stuck wondering the code because I have no idea have no idea about the code nor I don't have any idea which hack does it belong to.

I downloaded this  pack and I was able to sort out except that he  didn't name the brawl characters that I'm suppossed to replace with  and because of that, it didn't load the hack for the modded characters on css

so right now  I'm having hard time which Modded characters goes to which.

Instead I get this in the fighter folder:



and within the characters folder...


Does anyone has any idea which PSA characters belong to For those who have this Pack with the link I provided.

Does anyone have the code for Project M 3.6 txt file??  If I used the gct edit and open up the gct file, most of it are "Unknown" and  I really can't do anything to hack.

Can someone please tell me where could I find more info and  some tutorial on Project M??     I have download this Project M  pack as a start for my brawl hacking, though I heard you need non hack wii to work yet  my wii is hacked and it worked fine on my 16 gb sd card.

I havn't keep in touch with the SSBB mod for a while  so    I just  need some guide to  where should I start modding such as adding SFX, music, codes, stage, and also why it froze when I select certain character/stage.    Is it any different to how Riivolution works??

Hey guys, I havn't keep in touch with the SSBB mod for almost a year and now I have heard some great things with Gecko while I was away . In my case, I only used riivolution bcause it has more features such as sfx and as such but now it doesn't seem the case anymore.

 I decided to  use this Project M  pack as a start for my brawl hacking.

Before I start using this project, clearly I havn't keeping up with this site so I don't know where to look up for this tutorial, and because I forgot how to mod, I don't know where to look up,  so I've back up all my SD files just in case.

I'm able to Port (Aqua) PSA)  Jigglypuff over Samus successfully, but the problem now is that whenever I press B, Special and some A combos, it get some T Stance.

Is there a way to prevent it?? Thanks  Sad

I know that Jigglypuff was the first one to port  any characters using normal rels.

 However, there's none for Plug & Play rel which is why I'm using normal rel on HXD.
I know which ID to replace for character and module but the problem is I don't know the offset for Purin.
Or rather I tried these offset, but I'm unsure if this is the right one because when I select samus on css, it froze.

Hey guys,

 I want to move Mewtwo SFX Moveset over Wario which the download comes with the Sawnd file for over Lucario.

   With Sawnd File, it's harder for me to come up with a way to modify because I'm usually quite familiar with  Wave file using Sawndz 012 and Super Sawndz  which I canreplace over any character I want to.

I don't want to use Soundbank Code because that would mean having the same sfx would   also affect whatever I have over Lucario.

I also want to port Naruto SFX over Game& Watch which it also comes with Sawnd File for over Ike.

I'm looking through some tutorial  or any  methods of how people swap  sfx hack but I can't really find what I'm looking for.

Is there anyone  with experience who have been swap sfx could help me out??  Thanks

Seriously, I am quite irritated that The end result froze  whenever we press the A, A, A to get into the character menu screen.

This happens sometimes and it needs to be addressed with this issues.

I use a Riivolution with Orcania to launch the hacks.

Hey guys, I havn't played the Ssbb for a while so I forgot things.  Like when I downloaded the Psa which is Naruto orginally over Ike, I was able to port over Mr.Game&Watch successfully.

However, he included the sawnd file for his voice pack but it's only for Ike.  How can I port SFX to Mr.Gamewatch??

Is there a tutorial for it??

I have Sawnd 012 and Sawnd 0072 so I'm well known how to insert Sawnd file to smashbros_Sound.brsar which the sound file has to be in the same directory

If you guys answered there's no way to port or able to work then mind explain to me   was  he able to port Sasuke psa  SFX  ( SAWND File) to Metaknight which is originally over Ike ( The same guy who made Naruto PSA)

I've read  As1ink guide  and I looked up under "BRAWL ESSENTIAL CODES" and it required "File Patch Code v3.5.1".  Does it has to be File Patch code?? Because right now, I'm using beyondyous Riivolution and Im hoping if it works without File patch code on BEYONDYOUS?

I don't know why but  Ichigo froze when he entered the battle.   My brother uses a gamecube controller and I used a wii remote.  I tested out with 2 human battle by selecting ichigo over fox  and select other characters without original marth or clone  yet it still freeze which is odd because Ichigo worked out perfectly fine with 1 player mode  even with all cpu.

Hello, I am looking for any method that can potentially  hack everything such as stage expansion, css organizer, css music, Rel Characters, textures, music, sfx, and everything .

Right now Im launching Bionic Sonic because I thought that people said that brawl + or -  has very large codeset that can hack everything. But I figured out that when I checked modlauncher.xml, there are no Character.rel for this hack.  

Last time, I used to use Beyondyous because everything is easy to place, but then theres alot of problem with codes not being able to work. That was the time before I used nandback up my wii like about 6 months ago.  But I guess I still don't understand this hack much detail.

Please tell me which one do you think is better?

Hey guys, I am back on starting to hack on brawl  for a while  cause I had hard time finding resolved the problem on Riivolution since none of the codes work.

Now I didn't know where to start since I had forgotton how to hack brawl.

 I have only started to use Midnite Riivolution method because I hear alot of people said that "brawl plus/minus etc"  has the potential to use almost every kinds of codes that it can use to hack.

So I was expected that this features sfx on characters, music on css, music on sss, music,  music on menu, Rel Import character,  CSS  customizing, Stage expansion, CSP, and Every other Things  that the codes should work.

I am having harsh time figuring out where to place an texture/CSP files since when I load up my Riivolution, and select Group/Brawl, none of the css icons, etc isn't showing up in my Character selection screen. I tried to load up BrawlW/codes, Brawl+, Brawl - and nothing interesting happen.

Compare to BeyondYous Riivolution, everything is easy. But Beyondyous has too many problem with codes, freeze or glitches issues


Here is the following thing that I did so far.


- I Have started download Riivolution and placed to (F:)/APPS/
Don't worry, They are all XML except the "ReadMe" "ICON" "Boot.Elf"

-Then I started to download codehandler.bin and other XML files. I named a folder "Riivolution" to the root of my memory stick. I placed all the files that I downloaded and I placed into Riivolution Folder (The one in the root of my memorystick) After that, I create a new folder called "config" in my Riivolution Folder and I placed "RSBE" to config folder.

- I have read the instruction by simply download Midnite pack and place a folder called Brawlmods on the root of my memory sticks

-I am able to port Shadow PSA over DK by correctly placed the right files Destination. X://Brawlmods/movesets/Donkey/

- I create a new folder called "Codes" to the root of my memory sticks and Downloaded RSBE01.gct and placed to Codes folder. (Please Note that I haven't create or customize any codes yet)

This is Where I get Stuck

I dragged all the textures/CSP files that the Shadows PSA has provided.  

The Files Which it included:

- Inface011.bress - Inface016  ( I placed to (F:)/Brawlmods/Textures/info )

-  MenSelchrFaceB010.bress ( (F:)/Brawlmods/Textures/menu )

-  SC_SelCharacter.pac ,  Sc_tyfig_display2.pac , sc_tyfiglist.pac  ( (F:)/Brawlmods/Textures/PFMenu2 )



- DonkeyKongR1.bress ( (F:)/Brawlmods/Textures/Toy )

-  Next thing, I started to launch BrawlBox, load sc_selcharacter.pac and Navigate to char_bust_tex_lz77/MiscData[1]/Textures and I clicked an image of DK right-click and replace to an image of Shadow png that they have included and then I replaced images of alternative DK one after another.



- As well as I did replaced text images, CSS Icons, and CSS Text Icons under MiscData [30] and MiscData [70]


After that, I saved a file and replace sc_selcharacter.pac in brawlmods/textures/pfmenu2

Could some please clarify on what I did wrong??  Also is there any guide to where I can place Stage Expansion/ customize css, etc for Midnite Riivolution, cause Im really confused to where I can placed these files.

Hello,

For some reason, my codes stopped loading hacks and it used to work fine, but I always have this same experience when it got corrupting again everytime after couple of months. I am using BeyondYous riivolution to run the hacks AND my wii version is 4.3U


It all started when I switched hacks from BeyondYous riivolution to Hozu hacks because I thought Hozu can run hacks  everything since I had troubled in Beyondyous that the codes doesnt work by duplicating CSS slots and that the music selector codes doesnt work for css music.  so obviously I backed up my files.

Later, I switched back to BeyondYous because I had troubled where to place files in HOZU since it's soo complicated and confusing so I pretty much gave up.  I put my back up files into root of sd card . When  I launced the wii, everything worked, but then I noticed that the codes doesn't worked at all and I mean all  of it. The files hack still work except all the codes in my gct file. I can still play cloud over g&w for instance, but I cant do alot of combos, since the codes doesnt work.

I don't know how I should fix this but I'm planning to to do all over again, like i mean by nand back up. What is the recommanded way to make the codes work. Im not deleting all the files, my codes, etc since I putted all my effort, and its a waste to delete it.
