Hi everyone! I remembered reading somewhere that somebody didn't like the Texture Manager somebody made. I don't think this is that good, seeing as it's just based on Androu1's BRSTM2SD Tool and doesn't "manage" the files so much as move them to the SD Card. Anyways Heres the download for you to try it out: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?cbngthdu1yn
Enjoy.
P.S. Oh, by the way, you should put Your .pcs files in PcsHere and your .pac files in the PacHere folder(You can delete the text file I put in that file.
I haven't tested this out for EVERY character, so tell me if something doesn't work right.
Actually its not the detail in the texture that affects tga size, its the BPP, image type and image size. Make sure they are all 32 bpp and make all black and white textures greyscale format. You could also lower the colors of indexed textures.
TPL files are a certain equation smaller than tga files, so a completely black tga would be the same as an indepth face drawing.
I noticed that several people have said that when they recompile stage textures in STASH, (Regardless of wether or not they even edited the textures) STASH gives them an error saying that the file size is too big.
To fix this, find the texture(If there is one, I'm not sure they all have them) named "Tshadow1." It should look like a vague silhouette of Mario. Make this texture smaller by converting it to grayscale(Thanks VILE). This should fix the problem. If you still have this error, you still need to make the other textures simpler. make any black and white textures grayscale, or reduce palettes of indexed textures. Sorry if this sounds confusing, I sometimes have trouble explaining things.
P.S. To make a texture grayscale, go to Image>Mode>Grayscale
Actually, if your stage has a TShadow1 texture (Sort of looks like a silhouette of Mario) somewhere in the textures, you can just index it to two colors and convert it back to RGB color. As far as I can tell, this texture isn't used in the actual stage, so you should be good.
Stages: Castle Oblivion 75m This is my first attempt at a stage texture. I got the sprites (cards and marluxia) from kingdomheartsultimania and spriters database (i think that was its name, oh well ).
