currently im looking into adding more csps to the sc_selcharacter

i actually did a test where i added more csps
for ex
menselecb620.brres
menselecb621.brres
etc. and the game didnt freeze.
now i just need to find the code to link em to a "clone" player
could take a while
but for the 3 extra characters
its just a matter of testing n stuff
Theoretically (I haven't tested this), you should be able to add as many portraits as you have space for. So long as you don't hit the file-size limit, I think you should be fine.

I think ASF1nk would know something about pointing portraits to specific places. You can check the Extra Character Slot thread for info on this (to some degree at least).

Updated Mars Post with Sheik and Link. It feels good to say this finally: WE'RE DONE!...with version one at least. A pleasure working with everyone who contributed, be it with critiques, textures, CSPs, or what have you, thanks on behalf of all of us.

Revisiting my work in this project will only make me cringe in horror, but I'll skim through it and see if there's stuff I want to revise.

I thought as much, but glad to share anyway.

I'm happier with these textures than the last bunch. Should I edit the pants towards his waist or leave it as is? It's a small edit, but I thought I'd mention it.

Of course, I'm just a bit worried about time, since they'll probably take a while to get the whole cast done, plus I'm not sure what a more complex (ex. Link) character will look like.
If you like though, I can PM you the Mario texture PSD for reference.

Thank you! I do plan to make more of them, but I might be a bit busy in the coming weeks. I'd still like to try making a few others though, maybe Took Link? My mind seems to change a lot.

I might actually be able to mess around with UV's if you and DoE might be down for some help, no guarantees though, but I'll see what I can do.
I'm down for any assistance offered so long as DoE is. It's his model after all.

Also Vert, don't know if you're aware of this or not, but I found some Lord Ike concept art and thought I'd share.

you can make them. will send a pm, have to finish some recolors and send files. also if you don't mind I would like to include them in the pack release. will advertise them in the description and text file so people are aware of them.
Sound goods. I only require the original file to get started on my work. I'll try and have it back to you in a timely manner so you can have everything in one batch.

Very nice job on Chrom so far, other then some work that could be done to the texture/rigging fixes, it's looking great so far.
Yeah, I agree on the textures. The way the model was mapped, I didn't have much room to add the detail I wanted and I can't edit UVs freely either. If you (or anyone else) want to give the Chrom stuff a shot though, drop DoE a line and I'll send you what I had done.

Ike's looking good. I've edited the cape and will send the updated Vanguard Cape to you today, Vert.

Yeah so like, a GCT editor. Can load TXT files and only load GCTs that have been saved in BB with the checkbox in the top right checked. Can save to GCT or TXT.
