I did that without looking at any vocabulary sites Smiley

There's a homebrew app to dump the disc image (iso file) onto a computer through HTTP (you just go to your Wii's IP address & click the download link.) I don't remember what it is called, though.
648  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / General Hacking Discussion / Re: [poll] Classic Expansion Pack on: January 31, 2011, 07:18:52 AM
Progress report: I figured out how to move SSS icons around. Not just the order (which is done with the Custom SSS code), but the actual icons.

(ignore the background, I'll use Brawl's background in the released version. But you can change it just by using a different MiscData[20])
As you can see, I accidentally rotated the 13th icon. Gonna have to fix that.

I'm also adding six SSE stages and three "custom" slots (the 0 slot will be filled with FD Melee when it comes out, but the 1 and 2 slots are for your use.)

EDIT: Just a note - this won't be released until the Project: M demo (but not very long after.) I'm going to use a couple of the P:M stages in the pack.

The jingles only ring if you're using the first song (Obstacle Course I think.) If you use other slots, it won't be a problem.

The collisions are in a stagePostion model, and the X and Y translations of the bones (CamLimit0N, CamLimit1N, Dead0N, Dead1N, at least for Final Destination) control the camera and death boundaries.
652  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / General Hacking Discussion / \Classic Expansion Pack - old thread on: January 24, 2011, 07:37:14 PM
I'm planning to release a pack containing all the remakes of SSB or SSBM stages that have been made so far. It will come with the appropriate music for each stage. Each stage will get its own icon using PW's expansion code and the new PAT0 support in BrawlBox, and each stage will get its own music via Oshtoby's stage-dependent song-dependent track loader code. But I need something to put the music over; ideally over music that isn't used very much.

The music that I'm including is:
  • Fourside (Melee)
  • Yoshi's Story (Melee)
  • Mushroom Kingdom [the SMB overworld music; used for both SSB and SSBM versions of the stage]
  • Fighting Polygon Team
  • Peach's Castle
  • Kongo Jungle
  • Hyrule Castle
  • Metal Mario Battle
  • Dream Land
  • Sector Z
  • Saffron City
  • Metal Battle (Melee) [an alternate for the Metal Cavern/Metal Mario 64 stage.]

I'm looking for advice on where to put these tracks. Should I replace most of the SSE music and some of the WarioWare music, most SSE music and music from another stage, or should I replace some of the music on WarioWare, Castle Siege, and Halberd? I'm leaning towards the first one.

I just updated the Hyrule Castle and Kongo Jungle (N64) icons, and added a few more at the end. (Jan 18)

Mewtwo, for your next exanpsion pack, you should do all the old stages recreated in brawl. ALL OF THEM (at least the ones already made)

I'm putting one of those together right now.

658  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Stages / libertyernie: 11 Super Smash Land stages! (First OP update in 9 months!) on: January 06, 2011, 05:34:14 PM
Newest stage:
[P:M/Brawl] Super Smash Land: Underground

Download: http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=30931

My other stages: http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Type=%Stage%&ByUserID=1895&Moderated=All

I've ported all 11 Super Smash Land stages to Brawl (and, by extension, P:M), with varying degrees of accuracy:
  • Peach's Castle (complete)
  • Dream Land (complete - blowing wind from Green Greens)
  • Hyrule Castle (complete)
  • Saffron City (moving platforms YES, pokemon NO)
  • Tower of Heaven (static - no "challenges")
  • Underground (complete)
    • breakable blocks from Yoshi's Island, so they're actually easier to break in this version
  • Kirby's Air Ride (static - no riders above the stage)
  • Clocktown (complete)
  • Lavender Town (static - no Haunter/Gastly platforms)
  • Dr. Wily's Castle (static - no cannon)
  • Battlefield (complete)
Of the stages that aren't complete, only Lavender Town would be theoretically possible with current knowledge (but the sprite animations would make it quite difficult.)

@Kazari: If I want to be exact, I use this. If I don't, I use Impact Condensed (this comes with Windows IIRC) and toy with the letter spacing.

I'll make a Kongo Jungle V2 SSP soon.

I installed Priiloader so I (read: other people in my house) could play Kirby's Epic Yarn w/o updating.
