Its coming along rapidly because I didn't have to create or edit the movement animations very much. Of course I put my own touch on a few of them like the walks cause they were kinda bonked...
But all the attacks are being revamped. So its basically a completely different moveset. I took out most of the magic though. Don't like magic.
Maybe... I've been toying with the idea of making the up Taunt Heal after a certain amount of time has passed... or after Sora has caused enough damage. I'll probably need to ask KJP how to do it that way though.
If anyone is interested in making a video preview for me or gifs, let me know. I have quite a few animations done... so its actually coming along very quickly.
Here is whats done:
Movement: 80% Run, walks, Jumps, Crouch, Guard etc. are done... the only ones not done that matter, are the Landing animations for the air attacks.
Attacks: Attack11, 12, 13, AttackDash, UpTilt, Side Tilt, Side Smash, Down Smash, Neutral Air, Neutral Air combo 1, Neutral Air combo 2, Forward Air, Down Air, Side Special (air and ground)
So basically whats left are: Down Tilt, Up Smash, Back Air, Neutral B(Air and Ground), Up-B (air and ground) Down B (Air and ground)
I will take that challenge! In the mean-time, what would his moveset be? I thought for his neutral B, he shoot his Machine gun. For his L/R+B he could do the same thing as Samus, but that would be boring. I think he should be more lethal.
Yeah I got you. The Neutral B is a good idea but we could increase the speed for the side b for it to be more lethal
i wanted to do ginyu force but i kinda stopped to work on them but i have made the models ready to be rigged and vertexed so they fitting the brawl char. bonesets i wanted them over
anyway i think Gotenks is maybe ready to atleast beta versions(for the testers) in 1 week(only maybe cuz of IRL stuff) but if i got more time he will maybe be released in 1 week on vault but as i said i am not sure
I didn't have one for the longest time either, then next thing you know, I'm here on Brawl vault. So when you do get a CPU, make the Mecha Sonic model and we will be good
Someone could make a new vertex over Sonic, with a shiny texture like the Generations Metal Sonic, and maybe a slight size mod so he's Ganondorf-sized. Hmm.......maybe some of the parts from the Gen. Metal Sonic could be used in a custom Mecha model. (arms & legs [not including hands or feet]) I'd try the vertex thing if I had a PC. It would be a nice 1st project.
That would be cool. If you can do that, I'd totally use the model
So anyway, back to SMBZ. Has anyone started making a model for Mecha Sonic? It seems too tedious to recreate SephirothDB's Mecha, but would be so worth it! might have a high vert count, as model-ers call it.
MarioDk said he "Might" make a really good model over Samus, but he said in the later future. So if he doesn't, we will probably use a model on the vault
I was iffy on the Lucas thing. Mainly cause it started out being over Ness iirc. But I don't mind putting Scott over Jiggly. He worked pretty good when I played with him. His jumps were strange feeling though, but it wasn't anything too hard to get used to.
Also, nah, lets keep Bowser on the current. Cause I'd actually like to work on Shadow around the same time MarioDK works on Sonic. if at all possible, I'd like to release him at the same time as Sonic.
Yeah that would be a good idea. Bowser will be kind of tough due to the fact that he's only in one fight in SMBZ, but Shadow can wait until Sonic is released. MarioDk said that SMBZ Mario and Sonic will be released basically at the same time so we should do the same Post Merge: August 06, 2012, 11:05:19 AM
i have always planed to have gotenks over lucas and kid goku over ness anyway i think gotenks moveset is possible over ness too cuz of PKthunder(for ghosts) is there too/PKfire(for donut)/yoyo(for goten+trunks model and animations) and ness also got many GFX/filesize
Plus I like the idea of having Kid Goku over Ness and Gotenks over Lucas. I hate Ness and Lucas so the DBZ characters would be good replacements
