Is this happening to anyone, when i click on THE CHARACTERS TAB no character psas or textures will pop up.

next to the HOME tab it says GALLERY and the gallery isnt even in the right spot its like glitched looking like its more towards the bottom, when I click on GALLERY to get character psas or textures i go to click on the CHARACTER tab and none of the characters faces will pop up WHAT THE HELL

Can you use google images for CPS's?
Instead of me using or creatine a CPS from scratch can I use a image from google?

For instance usually I use gimp to create CPS's and BPS or whatever thats called, so I'm using the actual model from ssb to make CPS's.


But I was wondering what if lets say instead of making a roster picture of a character can I just type in google the characters name, example ill go to google and type in VENOM,

can I take that venom google picture and just size it to 80x56 and it will show up as the roster picture?

Basically im asking if you can use google images for the roster character faces as long as you re-size the image to fit in brawl?

Any reply would be nice.

Okay well this is for the people that play there wii online, I am borrowing my friends wii right now because I'm putting mods and stuff on his wii and he wanted me to test out the homebrew channel by going online

His current wii version is 4.3u my question is that the latest version or when i go online will it ask me to update it again, I dont want to mess up any hacks on the wii right now by updating the version.

So as of right now is 4.3u the highest version because I need to go online to test the homebrew to see if it works but i dont want a patch to go on the wii by updating it?

Anyways I was going about my day downloading textures and psa's to put on my friends ssbb like normal.

I think I downloaded characters like sora's psa and other crap, oh and I also put custom music on some of the stages.

So I loaded up super smash project M and the characters and music was working fine like normal, however there was one character that was glitching around so I thought oh well I'll just delete him out the folder because hes a piece of crap.

I put the SD card in my labtop and went into the FIGHTER FOLDER and went to delete a .psc file and noticed that there was no option to deleted the file?

So i thought okay maybe ill drag the file into the recycle bin to delete it when i did that it said something like

YOU CANNOT DELETE THIS BECAUSE THERE IS A " Write Protection " or the sd card is WRITE PROTECTED

what the hell this never happend before, did one of the characters make this happen or something, THIS IS ON  MY FRIENDS SD CARD so i dont wanna buy a new one over some bull crap, we own the sd card I dont get what the hell is stopping us from deleting files on our card?

My friend said there was a sora that said ASK FOR PERMISSION but he said thats all that it said

so is that reason why ? He said he downloaded it but it didnt say ask permission for what for example did it mean dont mess with the file but use it or dont use it at all IDK wtf is going on

When I say dash I'm talking about dash dancing which is bascially moving your left analog left and right really fast over and over. Why is it that Character PSA's can't do this? I put all the characters in Project M and they work but me and my friend always wondered why can't the PSA's that people make Dash dance really fast left and right, like whats stopping the PSA from doing that?

Um not to flame about this subject but it should be a REQUIREMENT to pick over powered or balanced when uploading character PSA's. I find that people don't really say in the discription if the character is OP or balanced. At least 50% of the characters I downloaded were over powered as hell and I had to keep taking it off of the SD card over and over and it gets annoying, why can't you people just say if the characte is op or not so I don't have to test 40 characters just to find that only 10 are balanced.

There should be a section for Op character or at least something that says OVER POWERED, BALANCED. It should be a requirement to pick what you character PSA is because its really annoying when I read a description and see 1000 downloads thinking its a balanced character and it turns out to be op as hell.

Of course some Op characters are good if you want to have boss characters on your roster and stuff but It seems that nobody writes good descriptions saying if their character is cheap as hell or balanced.

Like I said I think it would be a good idea to have a requirement where you are forced to put OP or balanced PSA.

That would save me literally over 30 minutes of time having to constantly turn my friends wii off over and over taking out the OP characters, We do tournaments and try to have balanced new characters not tons of op ones.

Okay I have inserted most of my characters into brawl and most of them worked, however some of them did not. It seems that the characters I am having trouble putting into brawl are the ones with movesets.

I've noticed that most the characters I had trouble putting in the game have the MOTION FILES.

For example

Fitmarth.psc
Fitmarth.pac
FitmarthmotionEct.pac 

There are many characters like that,  that I downloaded.

I've only got one of the marths to work.

Correct me or tell me if I am doing this right.

It seems to me that you can only have one motion file in a characters folder?

When I had two motion files in marths folder it did not work but when I deleted the motion file than inserted the new one it worked.

So heres my questions.

CAN YOU HAVE MORE THAT ONE MOTION FILE IN A CHARACTER FOLDER?
for example can you have more than one moveset for each character color

Like for marth could his original color have a moveset and his red color have another moveset, or can you only have one moveset per character?

MY PROBLEM IS THE CHARACTERS WITH MOVESETS, I DON'T FULLY UNDERSTAND HOW TO GET THE Movesets in the game.


I HAVE PUT IN THE TEXTURES BUT ONLY HAD SUCCESS WITH ONE MOVESET WiTH mARTH

Um this may seem like a dumb question for you guys that already know about this but I don't know so ill just ask. Okay I already learned how to put character textures into ssb.

My question is whenever I download a character that has a moveset is there a specific file that is a moveset?
I know Fitblahblah00.pcs is the texture
What exactly is the .pac and motion files?

I know how to put the characters in the game I just don't understand what files are what besides the .psc

Pretty much what is the moveset files so I know what to look for to make sure my moves are different in game.

Do any of you guys know if you can put textures into Project M? My friend already has Project M but I'm wondering if I can take the textures I downloaded from here and put them into Project M, or can you only do this with the Original Brawl.

Hey guys, I am a xbox player and my friend is a wii player. For a while he has been trying to get the Homebrewchannel, Yesterday I researched on how to do this and Figured it out in a couple hours, so I HAVE THE HOMEBREWCHANNEL, now all we need to figure out is how to put premade textures on to brawl.
I have just about everything downloaded now I just need to figure out what goes where.

If you guys could does this look like a video on how to put the textures in the game? Or do you guys have any videos

I downloaded FitCaptain00(Green ranger).pcs. So how do i put him in the game now.
Do I put him in the FIGHTER folder then go into captain falcons folder and place him in there and thats it?
Then I load up his wii and go the the homebrewchannel and click on Gecko OS to start up brawl.

Basically first I want to learn how to put the textures in the game, after I learn that I want to be able to start creating character textures my self I have alot of sweet Ideas to go on the game if i could only learn it.

I appreciate it if anyone reply's, I can learn easy i just need good tutorials to learn from.


Oh and one last thing - Can you put these textures on PROJECT M or only on the original version of brawl?
