Thanks for the support guys. I'll try to get a video preview for Chrom soon, and I'll keep your name in mind if we need any help.
182  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Project Pokemon Brawl PSA on: November 13, 2013, 06:18:31 PM
I didn't realize this project is still active.

So I've been working on my own custom Brawl (not releasing or even showing it until I feel confident its complete), and I use a few pokemon in it that you use. I've been making CSPs, BPs, and stock icons for all my characters too, and would be willing to share with you.

This is all I've uploaded so far that we share, but it's a good example of my abilities:

Also, I'm working on a Plusle & Minun PSA right now. It's still early on, but once I have it mostly done, would you like me to send it to you so you can see if it works well in your game?

HA! yeah were lazy and have a lot of things getting in the way of hacking all the time. Speaking for at least Mammoth and I.
But I would love to use your Stock icons and whatever else you have to offer. When it comes to CSS stuff I pretty much do it all but only because it needs to be done, and I can use photoshop.

I'll also take a look at your Plusle and Minum. Im not exactly sure who is going over Ice Climbers (Assuming your PSA is over them) so if its good we will totally feature them in our project.
Also, feel free to use our PSAs in your roster.

You should make a beta pack. And I know the 2GB limit is a B. You should make a bunch of extra Pokemon though so you can mix and match, just saying.

With pokemon brawl it will function with Riivo, that way we dont have a 2 gig limit.

Hey, I know you guys are still trying to find out where to put gyarados. I reckon when the clone engine is finished, you'll be able to put it in an extra slot... [SSBB Mods] Episode 2: Extra Character Slots Preview

Fingers crossed for getting it working with Riivo.

Hey, Have you Guys tried doing Monferno over Diddykong? well if you did then would you guys make it by Manual or Get a Monferno by Ripping it out from PBR well i did actually got the Model but then when i Opened the Model in 3DS Max 2009, the Tail of Monferno was Messed up like this :

I'm guessing it is because of his tail flame, although I am not a modeler so I don't exactly know much about that.

This isnt a model importing thread

Well said lol

Awesome FaceYou know, I saw that you needed a special guest for blaziken. Why not try Mega Blaziken?
http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=34139

That would be an awesome idea, but we already have Mega Blaziken in mind for Blaziken's FS.

I had 2 quick questions:
1. I downloaded a few of your character hacks and placed them in the correct spots on my sd card but only a few worked, such as Typhlosion, Gyarados, and Darkrai, but then Electrovire and Blaziken didn't work and froze my wii. Did I do something wrong with the downloads of certain characters if you want more details send me a pm and I'll get back to you quickly.
2. I noticed that you wanted as much help as you could get so I was wondering if I could help out on some of this project. I don't know much yet on how make my own hacks but do know how to modify the CSPs but that's really it. I'd love to help because this looks like something that will be very cool in the end, I'm a fast learner so if you can point me to the right direction I could help in other areas as well.
Thank you

PMed you.

Also as most of you have probably noticed, Dragonite is on hold for a bit. But he still will be updated. I already have most of the necessary things done for him. I also decided not to change his FS. Mammoth and I were having a Ness and Lucas fight and managed to dodge every meteor a good portion of the time, so I don't see a reason to re-balance Dragonite's FS in comparison.

I hope so Cheesy I'm Dying here waiting for both Roy and Chrom. Also pretty excited to see how the new Ike looks in game.
186  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Programming / Re: Triple Rasta on: September 04, 2013, 12:59:09 PM
I was guessing as much, but if every extra icon is on the same css you'll have several instances where there are, for exaple three Toon Link icons, or two Donkey Kong icons, all on the same screen without purpose. Maybe if it was possible to only use a few extra Icons from say, the second roster to use the limited PSAs that are allowed, avoiding a cluttered CSS.
187  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Programming / Re: Triple Rasta on: September 03, 2013, 11:35:11 PM
the only problem that has not let me go foward on riivo is that this code is heavily based on the file patch code.
it affects the file patch code which then affects the name of the folder of where the hacks are stored.
as the file patch code is an "on the fly" system, hacks can be exchanged simultaneously.
as opposed to riivo, it is possible that riivo does not allow for this "on the fly" system.
meanig it only loads hacks once.
also, the directories for your hacks are hard coded into riivo, so instead of affecting folders from the file patch code you would have to affect folders from within riivo; i would have to find a code that messes with riivos internal memory.
being that the file patch code now suports sfx, and that i already figured how to apply sfx to any roster, i see little future in riivo progress.
the only way i would check riivo out, is if i find a way to do what mr.bean200mvr did with mkwii(he added about 125 custom stages)
but giving it a quick glance i dont remember seeing any codes, just a buch of xmls and folders.
at the moment im working on adding css icons from two folders into one screen, giving the advantage of not having to refresh ur css in order to see ur new hackset...

I see thats too bad. I'll stay tuned to this Topic to see if any development is made for Riivo.
But having all the css icons on one screen sounds insanely cool, though once again to fill every slot with different PSAs still sounds pretty improbable with a 2 gig limit.
188  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Programming / Re: Triple Rasta on: September 01, 2013, 10:58:48 AM
Hey I hope i'm not necroposting with this, but i'm just curious if any progress is being made toward making this godsend compatible with Riivo. I remember someone bringing this up before because of the obvious filesize issues, and I was hoping to maybe rekindle a desire to get it working on Riivo.
My own SD is about 1.7 gigs, and thats with the stage expansion, cBliss, and a fair amount of PSAs, but no more than 10. I was considering moving back to Gecko just to be able to use Triple Rasta, especially now that they figured out sfx hacks for it. That is, until I saw the size of my SD, and that really got me thinking about how it seems that Riivo is almost necessary to use Triple Rasta to its fullest extent, at least with cBliss and that Stage Expansion in the picture. I'm really not sure how big my SD would be without those, but the SE, Cbliss, and Triple Rasta are about the most groundbreaking things to be developed for brawl modding, at least in my opinion.
Mr. MW, I dont really know what it would take to get it working on Riivo at this point, Im not much a programmer at all so I've just got my opinion, but It would be the best thing ever if you could pick up getting this working on Riivo again. There are so many PSAs out there and only so much room, with the physical roster size and gecko's filesize working against us hackers, you would be helping out the lot.
Thanks for your time MW, I really do love your work.
189  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Project Pokemon Brawl PSA *Updating Dragonite Very Soon* on: August 14, 2013, 02:10:37 PM
very huge pokemon fan. Is there download link for pokemon project ? ;/

So far there isn't a download for the entire pack because its a bit away from being finished. But on the OP you can find downloads for all the PSAs were using.

The download didn't come with any codes, so you must be referring to the "Wario has no entry data," correct?
Well, I'm going to go try that and see if it works.

EDIT: I must be stupid because that code made it work perfectly fine.

Lol Glad you got it working.
190  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Project Pokemon Brawl PSA *Updating Dragonite Very Soon* on: August 13, 2013, 04:17:40 PM
Gengar seems to be glitchy for me.
Whenever I start a match with Gengar, the game freezes.

EDIT: The game also freezes when Gyarados attempts to climb a ladder.

That's odd, I have head of this happening to gengar only once before. Do you use Gecko or Riivo? and did you use the codes included?

RG, you should start using another place to upload photos so you don't run out of bw anymore. I've heard "tiny pic" doesn't limit bandwidth at all.

It doesn't? that's the best, I hate damn photobucket and its tiny bandwidth. I have 3 photobuckets for the project pokemon pics and still the bandwidth is exceeded. lol

I would really love to see a Grovyle/Sceptile over Falco Import
Combusken/Breloom over Fox Import
Palkia/Haxorus over Charizard Import
Arecheops over Charizard Import

Well this is a psa thread so...

You guys know what the only thing I really want is? A PSA for Squirtle that has an Ice Move. So it's believable he can take Ivysaur out. lol

Were using Tormod's Blastoise so making a squirtle with one extra move would be a little redundant. Though if you look through tutorials and stuff you'll find giving him an ice move wont be that hard at all.

why is everyone sugesting random pokemons? the full list of pokemons is on the OP we arent gonna start doing every random sugested pokemon

I know right? Nobody ever cares about what the OP says I guess lol.

Also, Flygon updates are coming soon too everyone. Not sure when, but... soon.
191  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Project Pokemon Brawl PSA *Updating Dragonite Very Soon* on: August 10, 2013, 01:12:27 PM
Hey fellas, Internets up finally. I'll try to throw out some updates today.

Post Merge: August 10, 2013, 01:16:47 PM
Oh god and my damn bandwidth is exceeded again! I'll get to fixing Dragonite's pics too.
192  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Project Pokemon Brawl PSA *Updating Dragonite Very Soon* on: August 05, 2013, 10:50:20 AM
Sweet that would be great!
I'm pretty sure I have a max scene for him from a bit ago, but I believe if the model is exported as a .dae from BB68D it retains its rig. Either way you'r gonna need the model we're working with so I'll send it over right now.
193  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Project Pokemon Brawl PSA *Updating Dragonite Very Soon* on: August 05, 2013, 02:20:15 AM
Sorry if this has already been asked but i was attempting to use groudon and it enters his T-stance on certain moves.

I'm assuming this has something something to do with with the motion not being in common4, but I use wiiscrubber and run the game on dolphin typically and not revolution. So where would be the equivalent placement for me?

Hey sorry for the late reply, I haven't been able to get to a computer for a bit. But that's a problem I haven't heard before. I would try the common4 if you haven't already, sounds right to me.

There's a meloetta model on in the Brawl Vault that you could make a guest pokemon with just a suggestion.

I could see possibly doing a psa for Meloetta in the future, but she would definitely be a character on Triple Rasta, and until that works for Riivo I don't see it working for us because of Gecko's 2 gig filesize.

Here's a video of me trying out Dragonite over Pit.

SSB Project M: Draginte V1 over Pit

Awesome dude thanks, I'll update Dragonite's download with this video.

ahhhh... won't play on my phone. Guess I'll just have to wait to see it.

Lol had the same problem.

Also, almost forgot why I logged on in the first place lol
I cant figure out UVs myself, not really my area of expertise. I really do want to update Dragonite with a Brawl style texture but like Velen pointed out, without proper UVs it wont look right. If someone was interested in looking into the UVs I have no problem giving collab, the new model's texture looks good right now, but it cant compare to a Brawl styled texture.
194  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: Fire Emblem model importing thread - Vanguard & Hero Ike on: August 01, 2013, 10:49:37 PM
Ike is looking really great, I love his cape things lol
I'm also glad to hear your picking up Roy again, definitely the model I'm anticipating the most.
195  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Project Pokemon Brawl PSA *Updating Dragonite Very Soon* on: August 01, 2013, 01:14:33 PM
Alright, no more procrastination for me -__- I'm gonna start planning out ALL of the recolors tomorrow, and if I don't get you at least Flygon by Saturday, boot me. :| I'm serious Cry But this has to be my motivation.

Hahaha alright man serious time. Looking forward to the flygon recolors, they're probably gonna look awesome because of Flygon's details.

I'm happy to see that dragonite is getting his texture detailed, they never add enough in the pokemon games. Can't wait to see the final product.

Thanks for the support Tormod, I'm gonna ask Velen how that's going today.
