You have me impressed. How can you get so much done so quickly? Love the Riku PSA, and I'm sure I will want Roxas' when it's done. And thank you for the codes to put him over the Ice Climbers a few pages back.
THANKS, well if you already have an account, it would nice if you uploaded it there, so you can have a video in your account!
And Kirlia on Zelda is like 50% done! You sure you don't want another pokemon or sonic/mario character?
Great! I will upload the video to Youtube then. I'll post the link either tonight or tomorrow afternoon, since I'm not sure how long it takes to upload and it's late. That's great progress! I can't think of any requests unless you or someone you know can do a minor vertex edit. By minor, I mean deleting or shrinking a part of one polygon- supposedly this is easy to do, but for me the vertices show up as blue dots, I can't figure out which pieces correspond to what, and I always ruin the model. If it's a bother, don't worry about it- my original plan was to learn how to vertex it myself over Christmas break. Post Merge: September 26, 2012, 07:57:25 AMIt's up! Here's the link:
I'm finished! One video of Flygon's cool models, ready for display! Flygon, do you want me to upload it to Youtube myself, or send you the video file? I haven't uploaded anything to Youtube yet, so if I do it myself, what would be the best settings to use (if any options exist, lol).
it looks cool to have taunts or win animations before the FS but having custom stuff would be even more epic
...And would also take longer. Animating has always been difficult for me, although with Tormod's advice it got considerably easier... anyway, most of them look fine without custom animations.
Um, Kirlia'd probably be better on Peach or Zelda then. If you can do Zelda with a size mod, I think the moveset would fit better than Peach, but just do whichever is easier.
Actually no, I don't think I know of any models I like that aren't on Brawl. Unless Demonboy can rip Soren's Path of Radiance (Gamecube) model, in which case I'd like that for my machinima better than the Marth texture hack that I'm currently using. If not, then don't worry about it- like I said, I'd just like to help out. And thanks!
EDIT: Lol, I forgot that it needed to be from specific games. Fire Emblem isn't one of them so... nope, I can't think of any request. I'm content just watching this thread like a hawk for Kirlia and the Riders.
Post Merge: September 23, 2012, 10:19:05 PM 'K, I need to do homework now, please tell me if you want me to use specific characters for the video. Otherwise I'll probably make the video with characters from four different series, for variety.
ALSO EDIT: I forgot that I'm having freezing issues with the Pokemon Trainer. But that's probably because of a code or something, so I'll just remove all the non-relevant codes and check to make sure it works.
Hi. I have a high-quality capture device, AV signal amplifier, and Pinnacle Studio 14. I'd be happy to make a video for you.
I don't know if you're still doing Kirlia, but if you aren't, I'd like to request her. Given that you've almost finished the Riders models, she's the only model left that I'd had on my mind that isn't already in Brawl.
If you were already doing her, I'll do the video anyway. You're making a lot of cool stuff, and I'd like to help out if I can. I'll make the video tomorrow or Tuesday; you can tell me which characters you'd like me to use if you want.
Hey, nice to meet you. Welcome. PSA is easy once you get the hang of it. It takes a few weeks of dedication to learn what you're doing, but from there, it only gets easier. I'd start with just the basic attacks, then learning what GFX are and how to use them. Or vica verca.
Anyway, I had a hard time learning PSA for a while, too- took me about three weeks to be able to loop a graphic effect without the Wii freezing. Then the metaphorical wall broke and I started understanding stuff- I haven't released anything on the vault so far, but I have made a few moves on PSA for other people, plus I'm working on my own secret projects for my soon-to-be-started macinima... So yeah, PSA will become easier after you work at it for a while.
Here's one piece of advice, once you get a couple basics mastered: look at others' PSAs, copy their code, and try to figure out what all the technical language means. Experiment and try changing a few pieces to see what happens. That way, you're not going into it blind.
I think it's ridiculous that we're arguing about imports and vertexes. They're two different things- like apples and oranges. They may both be fruit, but don't try to tell me they taste the same. As Aafyre said, you can do things with vertexing that you can't do in model importing. And as ShadowSnake said, it's easier to make a model import with good quality than a vertex. But as for either one being easy? Hey, I can't do either one, and I doubt I could do either one even if I spent a couple weeks researching them. I'm better at PSAing, and I've heard others say that it's harder than imports or vertexing. I guess my point is we all have different talents. I can't do imports or vertexes, others can't do PSA, and some people can do all three... I think everything from textures to CSPs, imports and PSAs each have their own place, and none of them will ever truly be outdated because they're used for different purposes-- they're unique.
Two things: 1), the vertex looks very similar to the actual model. I'm not sure you could tell which was which if they were laid up side-by-side, so the SSBB model really isn't what you're looking for. 2), this is the wrong section. You should post in the request section.
The CPUs still aren't a challenge with this code, but they're better than the level nines. Actually, they're only not a challenge if you don't team them up against you... So yeah, it's a good code.
