Got HD textures comin at ya! So I did some wondering around just last month and I figured, why not boost Gray Fox's textures? So I downloaded the gray fox model from devianart, converted the pics from .tga to jpg, then resized the textures to 512x512. Then to reduce game lag I optimized the objects using brawlbox 0.71. The model only lags a little bit less now. I thought that I'd keep these for myself since everyone cant handle a little lag.
1/7/14: This texture has been changed.
I'm having no serious lag with this model. If you look real close at this...
No offense to KingSkull or Nanobuds...
Not trying to hurt anyone's feelings here, just trying to show some of my stuff.
Over Ganondorf. Now before you say anything, I'm not finished vertexing him, I just wanted to rig the rest of him before messing with the high poly arms and fingers. Currently don't know if he'll show up in game because Waxinator uploaded such a high poly model for download in his video. Rigging the lower part of his robe is interesting so far since it's my first time rigging a dress like object to the leg and knee bones instead of dress bones like say Peach.
(I know you're not done vertexing him) The king has lost some weight over the years. XD
I'm not exactly sure if I should change anything else because really the only think that is bothering me is that the color is just normalized instead of moving in animations, which would require adding texture movement for every animation which I don't think anyone wants to mess with so they can just easily use this with any Bowser animations without having to edit the FitKoopaMotion.pac, plus it'd make it a bit tiresome for us Dolphin users who want to use Dreamy Bowser in Project: M. O_OI tried with Dreamy Bowser to get the colors moving on their own and it didn't work.
Almost reminds me of the final koopa from super Mario 64.
i heard you liked my SMBZ mario moveset v4: Cape FS Preview Ignore there is no Hat/No Cape/no hitboxes on Mario right now the FS will be slower then Sonic´s but stronger hits also a lower time limit then sonic´s too (unless you hit a other star item so you restart the time limit) finnaly got the Cape FS to work as i wanted
how long it took to finnaly get it to work: first try i tried to get this FS to work was at first release of SMBZ mario moveset
When I first heard about this moveset version I thought the cape FS would be more...fierce, but this FS is supposed to be based off of SMBZ of course. Good work.
just need to rig straps and ammo on the chest/shoulders and the waist/body. then fix some normals and add new weapons. also there's minimum to no lag, ignore the top banner of pic. I had a few extra things open that was slowing down the gameplay. speed stays in mid 90% and up
Been a while since any pics were from me, so for you guys, I give a Dam.
Not exactly sure how I'm going to make it playable because my main focus is for using it for videos, which is why I included parts like the island at the back complete with the ladder even though it would never been visible in my videos...as you can see it has bones too for the gate to open and for the plate at the bottom of the bungee jump to be moved. Clouds and water will be moving too, and if you look at GoldenEye 007 (N64) and this, you'll notice that the mapping for the mountains is messed up...well I forgot to rip a part of the mountains and didn't feel like going through that process so I added them manually with 3DS Max, and I think it looks alright, I mean yah I ended up screwing up the rest of that object's mapping but it doesn't look too bad. I did have to combine some textures and objects because there are a ton of textures used in the level, hell there's still a good amount more that I didn't include because they weren't used in this section. O_o I'm toying with whether or not to add a blue fog (once I learn how to anyways) since in my video, it's going to have a far away shot of the dam and the fog might mess with that, but then again it's supposed to be a bit based off the game which had the fog thick enough that you could barely see the island from the dam by zooming in with the KF7 Soviet or Sniper Rifle...suggestions?
Lookin goooood...another one of my favorite childhood game levels.
